Color Laser Jet MFP M176n Pro: Cannot print bar code in the PDF document

We have just received our Laser Jet printer and tried to print a PDF document that has a barcode in the lower left corner. The document print very well however the barcode area is empty and the numbers under the barcode are printed.

How can I get the barcode to the printer?

I thank very much for your guide, we printed the document as an image. My husband tells me that this happens because the primer is not postscript.

    Thank you access the Forums from HP Support for extra support! I see that you have problems with updates of window for the printer software. I'd love to help you.

    Given that the printer works, I would say to hide updates.

    A poster tried to show or hide updates and it solved their problem.

    You can also give your feedback to Microsoft, and if all goes well, they will release an update to correct the function of the operating system. You can learn how here; Updates and feedback.

  • Color Laser JEt MFP M477fd Pro: automatic update of ruined printers print

    My new laser Jet worked very well until I followed the instructions on the printer for an automatic update. Now print is ruined. Page layout is described in gray, and look bad color photos. This happened DIRECTLY after that I said yes to the screen to update printer on the printer itself. I did not change my Mac.

    I tried closing printer, computer shutdown, and then restart the printer, then restart the computer.

    The Configuration report (can barely read.) Firmware Datacode says: 20160331, which is apparently the most recent printing for my model software.

    I'm on a Mac 10.10

    Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M477fdw, bought end of 2015.

    The printer was so easy to set up and worked wonders for 200 pages that I sent to him so far, until I said yes to an update. Wish really to say yes to that, but I just assumed it would work as well as everything else.

    After trying countless things, including uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and download the latest driver, I called Technical Support. The number is on the internet, not on HP. 800-334-5144 where you need it. They continue to try to trick you online, but eventually, you get to someone who can help.

    When I described the print results, I was getting, she had me do the cleaning Page, 3 x and 3 x color calibration, which corrects the problem.

    The problem of updating firmware with the trainer, is what I * think * she said.

    If your printer works fine... DON'T let NOT download an update.

    I get the same Scanner Error 22 on the Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M177fw like many others have posted.  Tried uninstalling\reinstalling the software and tried the most common loading drivers but Scanner error prevented this piece of finish.  Support and I was told we would have to pay $49.95 for them to help us solve the problem.  We just bought this printer 5 weeks ago.  Is this all we can try?

    Thank you for your response. This solution does not solve my problem. HP customer service had travelled me several tests (took about 20-25 minutes total) but ended up sending me a replacement printer. It arrived within two days and so far, the replacement works great. HP has also paid to have the original shipped in return. The process was fairly hassle.

    I'm trying to implement the network folder with my Color Laser Jet Pro M277dw and my MacBook Air with OS X 10.10.5 MFP scanning.  I've implemented the SMB shared folder as indicated, you can see here where I gave everyone access read/write:

    I understand your print jobs take more than 30 minutes to print and you would like to know if this is normal. This is not the expected behavior, and I'd be happy to help you.

    We will restore the printing system, repair disk permissions and add the printer:

    Reset the printing system

    1. Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.
    2. In the hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/scanning dialog box opens.
    3. Do a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left panel and then click on reset printing system...
    4. Click OK to confirm the reset.
    5. Type the name and the correct password.
    6. Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows any selected printer

    Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

    Repair disk permissions (If you have 10.11 use these instructions, otherwise move to the next set of disk Permission repair instructions).

    • Click on your desktop so that it is written next to the Apple Finder icon, and then click OK (you will see this next to the Finder after file, edit and view).
    • Under Go, click Applications.
    • In Applications, select utilities.
    • In the Utilities folder, you will see disk utility, double-click on this icon to open the disc utilities.
    • Click on your hard drive, and then click first aid. Click OK to allow it to run.

    Once the repair is complete, restart the computer and download and install the printer HP for OS X drivers.

    Repair disk permissions

    1. On the Dock, click Applications, then utilities.
    2. Double-click disk utility.
    3. Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
    4. Click repair disk permissions at the bottom of the window.
    5. Once the repair is complete, restart the computer and download and install the printer HP for OS X drivers.

    When you add the printer, please ensure that you use the HP driver.

    1. Select Add another printer or Scanner
    2. Select the printer that you add, and next to the 'use', you can select the printer driver

  • Laser Jet MFP M176n Pro: Driver comes into conflict with ASUS router

    I am using the printer ASUS EZ mode of sharing with my M176n all-in-one. The router is an ASUS RT-N66U. The printer worked fine during installation (print test) after installing HP software and ASUS EZ share software I can print from my Win7 machine, but the printer wants to return to the page test or any other document of hundreds of times. It's like a stutter. I'm sure I must uninstall part of the HP installation media, but am not sure what part. The USB cable going to the router, but I think that the HP software installed utilities for direct connection via USB to a PC.

    I'd like some advice for a solution.

    It's EZ printing software which was the issue. I had to install the printer locally (desktop PC), then after all the HP software has been installed and working properly, I used the method described in YouTube 'How to any printer wireless print' you must add a TCP/IP port, move your USB cable to the USB port, router then the printer will work on my other PC but the scanner only works on my desk. Now I'll start Ubuntu and see how it works on OS open source. That's why I bought an HP product. Due to the support for Linux.

    I managed a MFP M575 located in a secure Terminal room. Thus, the printer is subject to many security requirements to lock the printer and has An interal encrypted hard drive to store all of the work on.

    I use a print server and the gpo to push the printer for all workstations. The print server is running on the server 2008R2 Win; all the workstations are Win7.

    For some reason, I can't print color to work - any preferences printer I use. You can select colors in the printer preferences, I do not force grayscale etc.

    I also tried bypassing the print server and using a direct mapping of TCP/IP to the printer. Same deal.

    I also tried using the web on the web interface Jet Direct printing functionality. Same deal.

    I can get the color when I run diagonistic reports directly from the printer as the test of color band and office level report.

    Here, I am perplexed...  I wonder if he has nothing to do with the encryption feature? I can't access the internet from the local network, the printer is turned on, then it makes it even more difficult to solve. The printer warranty is exceeded as well.

    I printed out the settings and configuring reports - I can any specific relay if necessary setting.

    Try and do a preview before printing to view a printed version of the document to see what it looks like. Let me know the results.

    Do you have this problem with all applications or just when printing email?

    When I try to access my screen settings touch printer it asks a password (not the past already tried wireless network).  I do not remember a definition, but if I were to set to the top I forgot and to know how to find or how to reset.  Thanks in advance for the help!

    Your ony printer supports duplex MANUAL , which means that you have to turn the paper yourself using the instructions of the software on your computer. It will print odd/even pages first then ask you to convert documents and continue to print the odd pages.

  • Color Laser Jet MFP M177fw Pro: Printer is not recognized by the devices.

    When connected to a computer via the usb - B to usb at the back of the device connection, computers do not get a signal telling them that they are connected to anything. The computer windows 7 behaves as there is nothing plugged and a Mac running 10.9.5 simply gives the error message "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer. When I try to download the drivers for the device manually, the installation of HP can't find the printer in the devices, even when it is plugged. Both computers have been restarted, several cables (who work for other printers and are located in the length of HP limit) are the same exact behavior.

    Solution has been found, windows 7 update, but a driver do not go along, while some things have worked when it is plugged. HP partner, effects no side windows just weird.

    For those who read this topic after googling their problems: updated all the drivers. EACH OF THEM.

    Welcome to the HP Support forum.

    I understand that a HP Color LaserJet Pro M177fw MFP which is cutting off the top of copies and scans. I would like to help with that.

    It is possible that the scanner does not calibrate properly on startup. To calibrate the printer copier/scanner:

    1 remove all items from the scanner glass.

    2. close the scanner cover and doors.

    3. press the power button / to activate the product.

    4. with the product under voltage, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.

    5. unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

    6. wait at least 30 seconds.

    7. plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

    8. reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.

    9. If the product does not light by itself, press the power button / to turn it on.

    There is no way to actually align the copier/scanner.
