  I have a Color LaserJet 2600n, on which I replaced both magenta and yellow cartridges a week ago. Both cartridges are genuine HP. The printer cleaned and calibrated.

  Today, the thin magenta strips about 3 "apart began to appear on my printed pages. Print pages, but there is a 'click' stable, audible about 2 seconds apart from from the inside of the printer. Even after a cleaning several times, the bands are less bright, but they are still there. They also appear on the printed test page and on the page of troubleshooting print quality.   I have a Color LaserJet 2600n and I have a duplex manual problems

  I've updated my WinXP OS and the manual duplex feature does more (System with OS Win7 system with x 64 and x 64 win8.1)
  in win XP, I selected the manual duplex function. the system brings up the dialog box with the instructions to do so (for example: press 'V' on the printing Panel when ready)
  WinXP worked perfectly

  Win7 x 64 print all pages of one after another (the system does appear in the dialog box with the instructions to do but do not work)

  WIN8.1 x 64 does not allow me to choose the manual duplex function and I need print the odd pages before even-numbered pages.

  I can solve this problem?
  I can print with the manual two-sided dialog box and how to enable this feature?

  It is perhaps a silly question for Hp, but it is so important for my work and my research

• Power failure during the update of firmware for Color LaserJet 2600n

  Just in the middle of the update the firmware for my Color LaserJet 2600n, the power is out. Now I can't get anything to happen on the printer. The screen, or the power lights and the error light, but it does not work when the power is put on. I think that he wiped the previous firmware and either had not started or has been along the way in writing the new info. Is it possible that I can cancel it and reload the original firmware? It hangs on my MacBook Pro running OS 10.6.8. The only thing that the instructions seriously cautioned against a interrupt the installation. Needless to say, this is exactly what happened when the power is out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Able to understand me. Has proved to be quite simple. Powered off the printer and turn it back on and represented the firmware upgrade program. The printer didn't restart automatically, so I had to power off and wait 5 seconds before feeding this back. Once he recalibrated itself (which takes several minutes), I was in business.

• Snow Leopard and HP Color laserjet 2600n

  Does intend to write a new driver for the HP Color laserjet 2600n HP? I own this camera and can not use it because I upgraded my os to snow leopard.

  I reinstalled the driver on the site of HP, dated 2007 I believe.  My 2600 is connected through a router.  He recognized the printer and find the correct IP address.  It executes and prints correctly, just does not show supplies, i.e. the ink levels, but it prints again.

  OK, the problem is resolved.

  Using the W7 compatibillity function solved my problems.

  The universal print driver that runs on Windows 10 (64-bit) does not recognize on my Color Laserjet 2605dn duplex printing function. drivers passed under older versions of Windows enabled this setting on the Advanced tab.

  Is there a way to enable or UPD grants only limited functionality and does not support the duplex feature?

  in devices and printers click on the right button the printer UPD icon and select printer properties.

  In the device settings tab, verify that the accessory set duplex as installed and check for the difference.

• HP Color LaserJet 1600 Laser printer does not

  After I installed Windows 7 instead of Vista on a 64-bit HP laptop, I had problems with my printer (HP Color LaserJet 1600 Laser Printer).  The test page works well, but some applications, such as the Windows Photo Viewer that comes with Windows 7, produce nothing but totally black pages when I try to print photos (it's black, not white).  The strange thing is that, if I insert a picture in a Microsoft Word 2007 page, it prints well!  In addition, other applications are unable to make use of the printer, such as Adobe Reader 9 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 7, who refuse to recognize the printer.  Is this a known issue with a solution?

  For a while it was printing beautifully. Now, when I print the whole page fell on the right side (which is on the left side of the printer mechanism). I looked in the service manual and could not find this problem listed in the troubleshooting section.

  Any ideas out there for what could be the cause? All four toner cartridges are new OEM cartridges and I made red cleaning fading just a couple of months ago (not to mention that the colors on the page supplies seem to print very well).

  Agree with Stephen.  Keep in mind the connections are a basis for each wire of the wire rope and sometimes one or more of the metal parts slips out of the base so it inserts fully into the connection on each side.  What I do is first remove the two cables on the side of the laser/scanner and make sure all the metal contacts on the cables are in place and then I put them back in their connections.  I then similarly for connections to the dc controller.

  If it is not supported then what printer driver will support the Windows Server 2012 R2 64-bit operating system?

  CLJ 4600 is not supported on Windows Server 2012. However, you can use HP Universal Print Driver (UPD) for print on CLJ 4600 of Win Server 2012.

  I have a color laserjet CP4525 feel verry slowly after the replacement of the ITB.

  I compare specifications letter size is 42 ppm in black and white

  My printer give a 15 ppm +/-1 page, with diagnostic test tray 2 paper.

  I did a cold reset and check the type of paper and install firmware latess 7.220.2 July 31, 2015.

  After changing the magenta cartridge and once the ITB (under warranty), still the same problem.

  All the consumable are ok

  I did a printing b & w with MSword network, a single sentence on the letter format, it will print 15 ppm +/-1 page, no more.

  the perfect print quality, what may be the cause? DC / DC control? format?.

  Do you think that the printer has impeded?  Or, is there a big gap between the ejected pages?  Have you checked the paper type in the bin?  Please make sure that the paper type is set to "Plain".

  After the closure of the status bar, the media sensor will detect the first fed leaves 5 and decide on the type of media.  Maybe your media are dirty or defective?  Try cleaning the sensor of media.

  You can disable the detection of media sensor, so if the above does not resolve issue you, please let me know.

• Color Laserjet pro m252dw: print off center

  My printer prints slightly biased (as too far to the right). I did the alignment test and tried to solve the problem by adjusting printing to several mm to the left, but it does not work. I am trying to print labels with graphics that contain a border of circle-because the page is printing off center seem no good labels. I print on sticker paper for labels and have used several different programs label to print from, and all have the same resulf of centred off the coast. Any suggestions? Help would be very appreciated!

  I understand that you have a problem of quality when printing labels from your computer Windows 8.1 to your HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw. I would like to help you today with this problem of printing the label. Thank you for all the troubleshooting steps you tried before reaching out for support. At this point, I'm going to make sure that the labels that you are printing on conform to the specifications of your HP Laserjet Printer. Once you confirm that the labels you are using are supported, we will miss some tests in order to check if this central issue is caused by the type of paper or a problem of setting. Please follow the steps below.

  Step 1: Check paper:

  According to the specifications of your HP Laserjet Printer, the following labels are supported:

  

  • You can load up to 50 sheets of labels into the tray at 1 time. Do not exceed 50 sheets
  • Avoid mixing media into the tray with paper. Avoid labels on top of plain white paper in your loading tray
  • Avoid using labels that are separated from the backing sheet, wrinkled or damaged in any way
  • Do not use labels that have exposed the carrier sheet
  • Do power not more than once a sheet of labels into the printer
  • Avoid printing on both sides of the labels
  • Avoid printing on sheets which the labels have been removed
  • Make sure that you use the specific Laser as adhesive labels can damage internal components in your machine.

  Once you have confirmed that the paper of the label that you are using is meet the specifications of your printer can you please move to the next step.

  Step 2: Print Self Test:

  1. Load of the plain white paper in your paper tray
  2. On the front panel of your printer then drag your finger to the left and select configuration
  3. Under the menu Setup touch Service
  4. Tap the cleaning Page
  5. Print a cleaning Page now. This page should show the colored lines centered

  Check the alignment of the present report.

  • The colored lines appear centered?
  • Printing documents from your computer on plain white paper print centered?

  I have a printing problem with my HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni (function USB my iMAC), since I installed the OSX Mavericks.

  Although my printer print word files, cannot print .pdf, even through the software PREVIEW or ACROBAT files.

  It gives the break signal... any solution about that?

  I understand that you cannot print the PDF files from the upgrade to Maverick.

  I'll be happy to help you with this.

  I check and repair the authorization to drive on the Mac.
  Go on the hard drive of the Mac, applications, utilities, disk utility, click Mac hardrive left side, click on verify disk permissions, when it is finished click on repair disk permissions.
  (when it's over will show disk repair completed)

  Run the Apple updates also. (the Mac uses probably drivers 10.8)

  Make sure Acrobat is up-to-date.

  No, I did not change the toner, but I found the solution.

  This solution worked for me and my printer works now. You also try MAC OS.

  Remove the printer in printers and Scanners.
  Click on the button +, select the Protocol IP on top, type the address IPv4 of the printer, select Jet Direct below and then apply.
