  The color scheme by default in Windows 7 (x 36, Premium family edition) offers a combination of a white background for the application windows and black text for information that are there.   But being a visually handicapped person, I find the white background rather irritating to the eyes, and I'd rather have a black background, with white text, as this combination gives me a comfortable environment to work on the computer for long periods.  When I set these colors according to my convenience, using the link ' Customize > window color > color and appearance of windows "and by changing only the colours of the just 'Windows' choice in the dialog box, I think the colors of several other controls, in particular the"Drop Down Lists","Framed"and"Buttons"are also changed, often to be the same thus making the information unreadable such controls.  As these color changes seem to be rather random and apparently 'unpredictable', I cannot set the application window, according to my convenience.  I'm not able to get any useful information from the link "Help and Support" of the STARTUP dialog, about the dependencies of the combinations of colors of controls, or the link dialog box "Customize > window color > color and appearance of windows ' lists all controls that are normally used in any typical web page.  After spending a lot of time and effort - and therefore actually "lose" my time at the computer - through several tests, with all giving them negative results, I am at a loss to get this problem is solved.  Furthermore, I can't go back to the default of origin either.  So my computer is idle for a very large part of the day.

  I would be really grateful to all users or personal assistance MS, who take the time to provide me with an answer to this problem and help me use the computer in a fruitful way.  I offer my sincerest thanks in advance to anyone who offers me a complete solution.

• Reset Color Palette of the group filter graduated... How?

  After the color palette using graduated filter Panel, I can't reset it so that there is no applied hue.  All other functions resets when I use Alt/double click but not the function of the color.  Can you get it someone please let me know what I need to do?  I am currently using the 3.3RC version of LR.

• Palette for the Edit menu?

  Hey, I have just a wacom tablet and trying to get used to working with it in illustrator.  One thing that I find is that I use keyboard shortcuts for copy/paste/undo, etc..  His clumsy use of menus with a pen and I was wondering if there is a palette for the menu edit so I can just click on the icons to run change orders.  It would be wise and since its in apps like word, I think it must be here somewhere?  Thank you

  Any menu item (I think) can be saved as an action, which could have then a keyboard shortcut are assigned, or you can put your actions in button mode and stab at the one you want with your pen...

  You may need to use the command "Add a menu item..." "in the context menu in your panel for action to save.

  This project requires a color scheme which has sufficient contrast and variation to represent up to 24 flavors of food packed by type or range of products. Each flavor of product or the combination of flavor (the name of the element, as the cocoa almond cherry or apricot vanilla etc.) in the line will be represented by a unique color. The product packaging is white on solid color. The environment will be brilliant laser printing on labels.

  
  

  The problem is that many flavors will use similar colors. Chocolate items will have different shades of Brown and Maple flavors or nut will also use brown tones. The same Orange, Apricot and mango will use similar shades of orange etc. I know that the problem could be solved with two or more colors, but I don't have this option for this project.   Out of the computer for a day and come out at your local grocery store and see what the competition is doing.  In addition, the product itself may be your best resource for a color.  Who and its taste.  Food is a product that will generate a color once you have tasted.  I know, maybe it's not practical.  You could start with 6 primary and develop the 4 colors of catΘgories of void.  You could also watch the manufacturers of ink different color in addition to Pantone for some unique options.  Laser printers are struggling with spot colors, but they can be calibrated.  Look at the manufacturer's recommendations for hardware devices like xRite colorspectrometers.  Nice project.  I hope this helps.

  Hi, I have an another Quark to InDesign question:

  I just exported a file in InDesign that uses the same color of Pantone (287C) as a file in Quark, but the two seem very different (in the InDesign PDF colors are faded/lighter/washed out compared to the Quark colors). Left is InDesign, right is Quark. Anyone got any ideas on why these are different/how to get Quark color in InDesign?

  Why use a spot color for this? Just use a RGB version if it will be broadcast on screen.

  Fine print, you can go into the ink Manager and set tasks to display with the color lab.

  Web site module can do anything more that export dialog box, for just send pictures on a web server. If we do not want a gallery, export provides all the same options to exit a 72 dpi, sRGB jpeg dialog box?

  If you're just uploading images to a Web server you should not use the web module at all. Just use the export module. It offers many more options whereas scaling, sharpening, color space, etc...

• You can change the color palette in the quick selection of fonts pane?

  In the sidebar on the right formatting, there are a few options if you want to change the font colors.  One option is to click on the color wheel that then evokes the different options to choose as a method to select your color.  The median option on top gives a simple dropdown menu with a range of colors.

  The other option is to click on the color box in the sidebar format indicating a fast grid of colors to choose.  I wonder if there is a way to get this grid to display the same colors as the average tab on the previous method.  Mainly because the blue on this tab is better for me than the spread rather watery blues when you click the font color box.

  You can make a style of the object and which correspond with styles of text etc.

  In the color picker , the 3rd icon from the left is named colors, you can create and name your own, but they are not portable, right on your Mac.

  They will be available in any other application that uses the color on your Mac picker.

• Fill color VI for the simple Excel text

  Someone knows why when using the Text.vi easy Excel that when you enter the text in VI and look at the Excel, the background color text interted is white? I thought it might be set to no fill. Is anyway to didn't change or none this color without doing it manually? I looked in the cluster of fonts for the VI and it doesn't seem to be a choice for that.

• Color laserjet 4600 - problem with one color (yellow) for the most part does not print

  Colors look purpleish when printing photos.  It turns out that this is a problem with yellow print.

  We tried to replace the yellow toner cartridge, and it was not fixed.

  PQ troubleshooting, the yellow page is empty except for a thin (16th of an inch) to 99% a horizontal line at the top of the page.

  In the configuration page, all the different areas that should have the yellow are mostly empty, with the exception of the same sort of thin horizontal line at the top of each of these areas.  After updating the firmware from 03.001.0 to 03.016.0: in addition to what is described on the configuration page, some of the fields in the configuration page that should be yellow, have a pale magenta and more this yellow line.

  Our technician came several times and has so far tried to replace the hvps, scanner laser, toner alignment and trainer kit Board.  Nothing has improved the question.  Then for the replacement is the regulator dc ($1000).

  Anyone here have an opinion on what could cause this problem?  It seems they are just throwing parts at home and we're about to tell them to give up.

  It wasn't the dc controller.  I figured out well out - somehow, there was a spring missing behind one of the speeds in the train of drum roll.

  How to set the resolution of an image when you export in jpeg or png?
  I imported a 300 x 150 cm in 150 dpi PNG image, I did a small crop, then when I want to always export to 150 dpi, but photoshop automatically changed my resolution to 72 dpi. When I go to export preferences, I can't see or edit the default 72 dpi value, I can see how to set the resolution of the new document, but only for export.

  On illustrator, I can choose the resolution when I save my image but for photoshop, I don't know...

  If you want to keep the ppi, you do a save as.

  Export (and save for Web) are designed for web images, where PPP is not relevant. For the display, only pixel issue dimensions.

  You can also open the image exported in Photoshop, go to Image > Image size, and then change the ppi in 150, with Resample unchecked.

  Just the topic of export as usual. The CSS files generated by theme roller style customization procedure are included in the export file.

• Color change in the exported sequence (Premiere Pro)

  Short description: colors in exported from first and downloaded movies on YouTube do not match the colors of the source that were imported in the firstimages.

  
  

  Background: I use tool of digital color meter from Apple to read the colors on my poster and Apple Preview to display image (PNG) files.  To eliminate the effect of color profiles, I put my 'Generic RGB profile' poster (which, as far as I know, does not change the R:G:B values).

  Description: I made a sample consisting of a single color animation and exported an image as image file.  Such color as displayed in my animation software, that's what I've specified (R:G:B): 255:0:255, as it is in the exported image as seen in Premiere Pro.  However, if I export a MOV file in Premiere Pro, upload that file to YouTube and play, the color is: 251:0:254.  Also, if I open the MOV file in QuickTime Player and export an image, the color in this context is 251:0:254.

  Question: what causes this color change, and how can I eliminate it?

  
  

  N.B.: This isn't 'gamma changeQuickTime Player' (at length elsewhere).  The color as read in QuickTime Player is 242:13:207 - a large and easily visible difference and who does not appear in other players MOV (ex: Player Flip).

  I JUST DISCOVERED SOMETHING!

  I was testing my single color sample. MOV file on different browsers, and I noticed that he had a slight color change between when YouTube first loaded (Chrome browser) video and when he played.  When I stopped it at the first point loading and read the value of the color, is 255:0:255 - just what I wanted.

  I now believe that the video I'm generating is correct and YouTube does not alter the video as part of the Uploader, but it changes in reading it.

• What are the recommended settings for the export of photos for the web?

  I am a photographer, if the images would be used for my blog... and still need of decent looks.
  They are also the images that I approach clients, again, they need for decent, but would be the right size for the web.
  I played a bit, and when we maintain quality"to 100%, but the setting at 72 dpi, the image remains the same size at 300 dpi.
  So I got the quality up to 50%, but even slight vignetting seemed absolutely horrible. (Highly visible sections of different colors.)
  So now I'm stuck.
  72 dpi and 300 dpi made no difference in size (cannot explain this one.)
  100% quality seemed fine but was too big for the web.
  50% quality was mediocre at best.
  Any suggestions? What is the standard practice?

  I would use a quality of 70-80 and also resize the image under 'Image size' for example, you pick a long edge of (for example) 1200 pixels.

  The ppi (dpi not) makes absolutely no difference, it's completely out of words and useless in this situation, as you found it. Just ignore it.
