  As far as I know you must remove the battery, HARD drive, optical drive, keyboard and displays first Assembly. After that, you must remove 20 screw on the underside (about 15 black screws, two black screws in the mea optics and bays of battery and four silver screws for the video monitor port and the parallel port).

  As Nicky said if the unit is pre-installed with recovery CD, you can use the FN + F5 key combination and switch to the external display or TV.   I have another problem with my old laptop Toshiba Satellite 2450-101 which I hope you can help me with.

  I found the info that this unit is ready WLAN and is attributed to the WLAN option in option. Check please the Device Manager and see if the wireless adapter is listed under network adapter. If this is not the case, the device is without wireless network card.

  I'm not 100% sure but I think that the WLAN slot is placed under the keyboard. There is also the antenna cables (black and white cable). Update is not a problem, and you can only do so at your own risk of course. ;)

  Unfortunately I put t know exactly what WLAN card is compatible. If you want you can use the external solution. It is much easier.

  I have a toshiba satellite l30-101 laptop and wanted to upgrade the RAM, so I bought 2 x 1 GB sticks to put in it.
  Now, I could not find all those at 533 mhz so I bought 2 667 mhz after a talk to a technical guy who said if I had 2 the same speed it will work very well.

  Only this isn't at all that I can put a stick and it works very well with the 533 mhz.
  The one I have in if I try to put the two sticks in it comes up with errors of memory and I get the bsod that restarts my computer and did not get my games or other programs.
  Is anyway to make sure I can have both new sticks in that I really need RAM and do not want to buy different ones.

  My laptop came with 2 GB RAM and Geforce Go 7300 with a total memory of 399 MB. I bought this laptop about 4 months ago and had no problem with it until 2-3 weeks ago.
