OK, this problem beautifully undescriptive I've seen caused by what seems to be dozens of things happening for me.

I made the mistake of horrible update my FC8 kernel to the latest one (2.6.26.8 - 57.fc8).  Mind you, that's all that's changed.  It was with a 1.06 server with happiness and perfectly good computers running virtual in use before the upgrade.

After the new kernel and reboot, I had to rebuild vmmod.  I had to get a fix of any - any later that I used with my previous kernel (116 does not solve the problem of compiling) so I used all-any117d.  Update like a champion.

Try to turn on a VM and Ihanta!, the above error.

    Nothing else was changed.

I tried the upgrade to VMware Server 1.08.  Used all-new any117d - update OK.

    Hello

Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

Put the computer to boot and see if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: follow step 4 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

My husband must have some kind of bug in his computer as Kaspersky Internet Security, when he went on the internet, gave him a choice to block something that was causing a problem.  When he clicked "Block" - he got the BLUE SCREEN!  Is anyway for him to cancel it and save all her pictures on his computer?

It has a Dell Dimension 8400 computer about six years.
    ----
Sorry to bother you, but this time we did shut down his computer and restarted everything was fine.  Apparently he had clicked on something like 'do not allow' or however its formulation that I do not see.  So now we have to probably save photos and things out of his computer and take out the drive to reinstall Windows XP because there still be some sort of bug in there because we are getting popups saying some program are eager to enter the passwords section.  I don't know much about it but try to fix it!

I looked into Kaspersky and ran a browser Configuration and analysis of the vulnerability in his computer and found that there was a kind of 'control popup' in Internet Explorer that had been added in the settings of the pop-up window. -I deleted who.

I saw a setting in Kaspersky has been changed by default (they say "changed by the user, but did not change). -I have put all Kaspersky setting at default.

So now, we hope the computer that my husband will work very well in the future because it's good now, even after rebooting.

Now, we will have VERY serious about all of his photos on his backup external hard drive!

If we have more problems with that, I'll be back but for now, everything is GOOD!

You can create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and replace the file, but it may be easier for you to make boot CD of a Hren.

When you start the Hiren's CD, choose the XP Mode of Mini and it has an interface in XP style Explorer where you can find and replace the winlogon.exe suspicious or missing file.

There should be a copy of winlogon.exe here:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

Rename your current c:\windows\system32\winlogon.exe file (if it exists) and copy / paste the replacement of c:\windows\system32\dllcache.  If you do not see here, search your HARD drive and find one.  Another possibility (depending on your environment) is c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386, or c:\i386 d:\i386...

You just need to replace the file winlogon.exe somehow.

When you are finished replacing, restart as usual (remove the CD bootable of course).

With the help of Hiren, you can also copy offshore on an external device (USB key or HARD drive), all personal security files.

Do you have a Hiren BootCD you can download here:

    http://www.hirensbootcd.NET/

On the left, click on download, scroll down, choose the latest version, the download link is a little hard to see.  It is at the bottom of the page, above the drop for older versions and looks like this (click this component to download the ZIP file):

Direct HTTP mirror + Torrent, Torrent Magnet

Click the "Live HTTP Mirror" link to start the download and save the ZIP file on your desktop of somewhere that you can remember.

The ZIP file is large, so the download will take probably some time to complete.  Then unzip the download to extract the Hirens.BootCD.ISO file that will be used to create your new bootable CD.

Create a bootable CD. ISO file is not the same as simply copying the. File ISO onto a blank CD.  You must use software that includes how to burn a. ISO to a CD to create a bootable CD.

File ZIP the Hiren is the file BurnToCD.cmd that you can double-click to launch it.  The BurnToCD.cmd will use the file BurnCDCC.exe to burn the. ISO file onto a blank CD using your existing CD burner.  You can also use your own burning software as long as your software is able to create a bootable CD. ISO file.  More modern burning programs can create a bootable CD. ISO image.  Create a CD from an ISO image bootable is not the same as just the file on a CD burning.

If you need a simple and CD burning, this is a free software popular software:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your new bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.

These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When starting on the Hiren's CD, you will see a menu of options.  Choose Mini XP.  It will appear while Windows is loading and you will be presented with a desktop computer that has the look and feel of the interface of Windows Explorer, you are already accustomed to using.

Using the Mini XP, you can access Internet, maneuvering around your system, search for files, copy files, replace the files and run the scans for malware, edit the text files (like the c:\boot.ini) etc.

There are dozens of free and useful tools included in the CD that can be used to repair your system or copy your important personal files on another device (like a USB device or an external drive) in the case where you just give up and decide to reinstall your XP (I hope that you will not make this decision).

Do, or do not. There is no test.

    STOP: 0XC000021A

Can be a difficult problem to solve, and you indeed need a technical help in a real store of the computer
(not the leeks and the glances at a BestBuy or other BigBox stores) or system manufacturer support.

    Cause

This error occurs when a subsystem of mode user, such as WinLogon or the Client Server Run-Time Subsystem (CSRSS), irremediably compromised and security can not be guaranteed. In response, the operating system goes into kernel mode. Microsoft Windows cannot run without WinLogon or CSRSS. Therefore, it is one of the rare cases where the failure of a user mode service can stop the system.

Incompatible system files can also cause this error. This can happen if you restored your hard disk from a backup. Some backup programs may skip restoring system files which they determine are in use.

    Solve the problem

Run the kernel debugger is not useful in this situation because the error occurred in a user mode process.

Resolve an error in the user-mode device driver or system, third-party application service: Because the bug 0xC000021A control occurs in a user mode process, the most common culprits are third-party applications. If the error occurred after the installation of the new or updated device driver or service system, third-party applications, the new software should be removed or disabled. Contact the manufacturer of the software on a possible update.

If the error occurs during the system startup, restart your computer, and then press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system. In the Windows Advanced Options menu that results, select the last known good Configuration option. This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time. If the error is not resolved, try to manually remove the offending software. If the system partition is formatted with the (FAT) file allocation table, use a MS-DOS boot disk to access the hard disk of the computer. If the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or remove the defective software. If the defective software is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file. If a room newly installed if material is suspected, remove it to see if that fixes the problem.

Try running the emergency recovery disk (ERD) and allow the system to repair any errors that it detects.

Solve a problem of file system do not match: If you have recently restored your hard disk from a backup, check if there is an updated version of the backup/restore program available from the manufacturer. Make sure that the latest Windows Service Pack is installed.

  • A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly left or came to an end.

So, if you look at the other question, I asked, you will see that I had a few problems under Windows 7. Now, I'm having almost exactly the same problem after return to windows Vista.

Twice now, after that immediately turned on the computer and the starting windows, I got the system slows down suddenly and freeze. Previously, in windows 7, this has led to many problems, and ultimately the system was unresponsive and unusable until I reinstalled the operating system. Under vista, the computer actually seems to try to solve the problem, and I am fairing slightly better.

Earlier, I got a blue screen with the 0x00000F4 error code (I couldn't have the correct amount of 0) and the message that is indicated in the title. Once the computer is restarted, it works very well, and I found it in under the window newspapers/system event viewer:

In addition, I tried to analyze the minidump created by crushing with windbg. Here's what I got, but I don't know if I was doing it right or not.

    Thanks for any help!

Good job!  I am pleased that chkdsk option included in my post the primary problem solved oiriginal (if only temporarily).  It doesn't sound like your hard drive may be dying (or close very dead).  We should do a complete diagnostic of her test to see what it shows.

To test your hard drive, check the manufacturer and then get the diagnostic utility of:http://www.techsupportforum.com/hardware-support/hard-drive-support/302602-hard-drive-diagnostic-utilities.html.  If she failed the test, replace it.  If she passes the test, there's probably nothing wrong with it that can't hold off for a while (but the corruption on the hard disk is a sign that there is something wrong with the hard drive, even if she meets this criterion).

Csrss.exe crash almost certainly has not caused the problems of corruption on your hard drive - what is much more likely a hardware problem (but the above will be)- and it is more likely that corruption caused the crash.

I see no harm in installing the fix - although I do not know it will not solve the problem (especially if you aren't really using console applications or it occurs not only when you close).  Yes, it seems to apply to your situation in a certain way and can solve this problem, but I really think that the underlying issue is the hard drive itself.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • BlueScreen: "a process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly released or ended."

My computer has a blue occurning screen occasionally (3 times in the last month 2). It reads "a process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly left or came to an end...." "STOP: 0x000000F4 (0xFFFFFA80074DF450, 0xFFFFFA80074DF688, 0 x 0000000000000003, 0xFFFFF80002126CF0) ' after the restart there is no problem (for now) until the next Bluescreen.

  • BSOD: "a process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly released or ended." Startup Repair does not solve the problem-

I recently had a serious viral infection on my laptop Windows Vista SP2 Gateway.  After you run the antivirus AVG cleaner, who seemed to have had to quarantine or delete some files infected, System I couldn't Boot Windows to the top on this machine - even in the (all flavors of) Safe Mode.  When you try to start, I'd get

a Blue Screen of Death with the msg of error in the title of this thread.  Before turning off the crash dump, the system indicated:

    ' * STOP: 0X000000F4 (0 X 00000003 0X85F22848 0X85F22694 0X82A26AB0).

Other messages in the BSOD said I might have new HW causing the BSOD (I did not - but nevertheless I removed all external HW and tried again - got the same result).

So one of the first things I did was to capture the startup log, so I could see what the pilots were hang up / does not.  Here's what I found:

    (1) the last driver to load (as indicated in ntbtlog.txt) was monitor.sys.  My understanding is that this indicates that when this driver loaded, the system crashed at this place - suggesting that there is 'something wrong' with this particular driver.  However, it seems likely, that I can use the screen/monitor (built-in) to the laptop without problem.

    (2) several drivers do NOT load: they are:

    1 NDProxy.sys

    2 Kvhfjgcv.sys

    3 Kbdhid.sys

    4 i8042prt.sys

QUESTION 1: "Monitor.sys" being the last driver to load, should I assume this is the driver the system hung up on (that is, which caused the BSOD)?  And if so, that means I should replace this driver?  If so, how do I do that (how and where can I get a copy of 'Clean/good' of monitor.sys)?

QUESTION 2: Is it possible to get "good versions" of drivers I listed above which was NOT loaded (I guess they didn't not load because they have been corrupted by the virus or the virus cleaner, or maybe just deleted by the virus cleaner because they were infected) to put into the Windows\System32\Drivers folder?  How?

Here are the steps I took to try to fix the "corrupt system".  I inserted my Windows Vista DVD into the DVD drive and loaded Windows using that.

Once that came, I then tried the following (and here are the results for all that I tried):

    (1) I selected the option "Repair", then choose "Microsoft Windows Vista" OS and press "next".  He tried to 'attempt to repair' for 15 minutes about, then finally stopped with a message: "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically.  "Details of problem indicated: (a) the problem event name: StartupRepairV2." Signature 01: ExternalMedia; Signature 02: 6.0.6000.16386.6.0.6001.18000; Signed 03:6; Signature 04:131074. Signature 05: 0xF4; Signature 06: 0xF4; Signature 07:0; Signature 08:2; Signature 09: WrpRepair; Signature 10:5; OS version: 6.0.60090.2.0.0.256.1

    (2) I selected the option 'display diagnostic and repair details '.  He said that all tests successful (error code = 0 x 0), and

    then indicated the 'cause': ' unknown error checking: bugcheck f4, parameters = 0x3, 0x88607b80, 0x88607ccc, 0x82a78ab0. "

    - AND -

Repair action: repair and checking the integrity of system files.  Result: failed.  Error code = 0 x 5

    (3) I checked that the restoration of the system, and even though I know I had some Restore Points created at the origin of this system, System Restore has indicated that there was no restore points to go back, (leading me to believe that the virus must have killed)

    (4) so I chose the selection "Command Prompt", which opens by default "X:\Sources >".  I'm in C: and then typed: "sfc/scannow".  The system has responded with the following messages:

"Start system analysis.  This process will take time. " follow up 30 seconds later by the message:

"Windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation".

MAIN QUESTION: any reflection on what other tools and options I try to repair the windows installation / driver set?

I received a message 'host process has stopped working "," image of task has been damaged or has been tampered with', and anothermessage that said something about another process has stopped working (it starts with ss; something), I received these messages for about 2 weeks, at least. Two messages later I get when I try to join another computer to my network. Also when I try to change discovery option is discovered the first message I get all the time. How can I fix it? Or what is caiusing this?

    Hello

    1. don't you make changes to your computer before the problem?
2 could you post back with the exact error messages?

I suggest that you follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

  • If an illustrator file has links with spot colors, how can I create PDF files with process colors?

My file has shades of tones that came with the linked logo, I could not find a way to convert those shades of colors quadri.

I need to send PDF on a printer with only process colors, I know that the printer can choose to convert spot colors to process when printing with printer within Acrobat Panel, but since we do not print, we need to send files to print ready with process colors only.

Is there a way or a script to make PDF file generated from Illustrator with process colors only?

You could try object > flatten transparency and clear colors to preserve overprints and Spot.

I set the preset high resolution and turn on the preview to see if something dramatic is going to happen.

After that, you can check the file of color dot in the separations Preview Panel.
