• Key WPA - EAP business Wifi for OSX 10.11?

  I'm looking for months for a Wifi key that supports OSX 10.11 WPA - EAP Enterprise. I ordered about 10 already, but most of them only support OSX 10.9 or lower. But I need 10.11. Those who work with OSX only sustained 10.11 until this WPA - PSK.

  Any ideas? Any help?

  (I know that my mac supports WPA - EAP, but I need a stick to place it as close to the point of access to a public network - which can't change, I can't use repeaters etc..)

  I may be wrong since I have to confess I used only once WPA2-Enterprise, but I think that EAP would be part of the 802. 1 x security suite. EAP stands for Extensible Authentication Protocol.

  OS X took in charge WPA2-Enterprise and 802. 1 x for a long time and don't always work. I believe that as long as the WiFi adapter supports WPA2 then it will also support WPA2-Enterprise and therefore 802.1 x and EAP.

  Note: WPA2-Enterprise and 802. 1 x means also using a RADIUS authentication server. In theory it could be run on a Mac server and in fact Apple Server.app includes a copy of FreeRadius, even if you need to configure it manually.

  I found the following https://eshop.macsales.com/item/Edimax/EW7711MAC/ which is listed as Mac, El Capitan, WPA2 and 802.1 product compatible x.

  This adapter to the Web site less OWC is listed as including El Capitan drivers although the product on the Edimax website page lists only up to Yosemite.

  This is why I feel that this adapter is admissible as Mac-compatible, El Capitan compatible and produced compatible WPA - EAP.

  I can connect a U2715H to a Mac, but not two. The assistance service Apple accuses DELL does not to support OsX.

  I was so happy with my U2715H connected to my Mac, I bought a second. Apple has confirmed that my MacBookAir supports two external monitors. So, I bought a second U2715H. But I realized so far a mirror image of the first U2715H, not an independent view.

  Apple Thunderbolt, that's what everyone calls a CDM (Mini DisplayPort). A CDM output port cannot run two monitors unless these monitors are in a configuration of Garland. In theory, this would be your configuration =

  

  MacBook Air TB/CDM on port--> Dell mDP to DP--> U2715H first DP cable in the port (#5 in photo)
  First DP U2715H port (#7 in the image)--> Dell DP to the CDM cable--> second U2715H CDM in port (photo #6)

  Then, open the first U2715H OSD (on screen display) - display and activate DP 1.2. Other special configuration of Apple issues should be directed to users Apple here.

• Could not load the firmware on P1102w (Mac OSX 10.9.2)

  I bought a new P1102w printer, connected to a Mac OSX 10.9.2.  During installation, it asked me to "update" the firmware, which I did but (too late) I noticed that I was "updating" with an * older * version of the firmware!  Yes, that was crazy, I should read more carefully the screen.

  Now I can't get the printer to work on the wireless at all (I tried * everything * on the pages of HP, all the alternatives) and it does not print a test page for the computer, and the Setup page: print with boxes completely empty (without text).  The supplies button returns nothing.  So I tried to reinstall the firmerware by going to the HP page

  Although it does not say here that this firmware supports OSX 10.9 (only up to 10.8).   And of course, I can't launch the HP Firmware Upgrade Utility App.  The error message says that it cannot be opened and more in detail, said "permission to the application has been revoked.

  So, what can I do?  This printer seems to work OK on USB (but the printer utility returns no information at all) but I would like to make it work wireless and that the printer utility work.    I insist, I applied * all * the options described on the pages of HP and also that I'm under the latest version of Mac OS x.  I would really appreciate the help.  The situation is irretrievable?

  I was informed by another respondent to reset the printer by turning off, then pressing X and wireless keys while turn on... but it did not work.  He advised - if his suggestion did not work - I called the Customer Service, I did.

  I was very impressed by the Customer Service Engineer.  He took control of my Mac via LogMeIn.  Like me, he tried all the obvious things (10 min).  He downloaded the firmware for 10.8 (I 10.9) and tried to open it, but the Mac refused to open it.  However, unlike me, he knew how to get around this (the normal Mac workaround does not work, it took him 10 minutes to do this step) and once it has been opened, of course, my printer had the OLD firmware.  Loading the latest firmware, everything's fine now.

  So my advice is: telephone Customer Service!  I had just bought the printer while it was under warranty.

  Mozilla has not supported OSX 10.4 and CPU PPC since Firefox 3.6 has been replaced by Firefox 4.0 in March 2011-4 1/2 years. Firefox 4.0 and newer for Intel CPU and Mac OS x 10.5 and later. The closest you are going to get Firefox for this old Mac PPC now-a-days is Ten-FourFox.

  Firefox is a software open source. everyone is free to build their own version, as long as they follow a few rules pertaining to trademarks - IOW, change the image to something else.

  Your best source of assistance with questions about 10-4 Fox is a group of Mac users or 10-4 Fox support.

• El Cap Spotlight has become invasive?

  I've been a strong supporter OSX for a long time now, I even convinced my company to convert all the engineering of Windows / Linux environment of MacBooks.  It was in 2005, so our software developers use OSX more than 10 years now.

  I would like to know how Apple, #1 for design of interface for maximum efficiency considerations, has fallen so low that a tool to use fast like the spotlight, in a pane in the center of the screen, BLOCKING of information we're looking for, make calculations on, etc.  It's completely pervasive.  I can move it, but I can't resize it, and I can't make albums taking up most of the screen.

  Trying to do quick math (a my favorite features of the projector) quickly of the results in spotlight blocking the data you want to analyze.  Calculator of shooting and hunting it around behind windows is how we did it BEFORE this projector... and it sucked! Do not go back.

  The third party who wrote an app that duplicates the functionality of the old projector will make a lot of money.

  Anyone has any advice on how to get it under control?

• Since I updated to Firefox 8 on Mac OS x 10.4.11, Firefox does not open more (not same previous versions downloaded via Safari). I get the error message "You cannot use Firefox with this version of Mac OS x" (translated from Dutch).

  Sorry to hear that you are having problems during the revolution of Worms. It seems that your computer is trying to run the game via the integrated Intel graphics card, rather than the dedicated Nvidia GeForce graphics card.

  You can assign any application to use the dedicated made Intel or nVidia GPU card.
  This can be done in the nvidia Control Panel.

  1. click on start and then Control Panel. Select Classic view in the left side of the window.
  2. double-click on the NVIDIA Control Panel.
  3. click view, and then add the "Run with graphic processor" Option to the context Menu. Close the NVIDIA Control Panel.
  4. right click on the title of the application and select run with GPU. Then, click on NVIDIA processor high performance.

  Now, I try to run the "basic series write and read" example and get the following error:

  Error 1073807343 has occurred to the property node (arg 1) visa set up a Serial Port (Instr) .vi-> basic series writing and Read.vi

  Possible reasons: VISA: information about insufficient localization (Hex 0xBFFF0011) or the device or resource is not present in the system.

  As I am a newbie to Labview, I'd appreciate any help on this...
