While typing in the mentioned order, I received the command not found below. I wonder what could be the reason. I installed ORACLE GRID on my test server. Also, feel free to check the output of bash_profile for grid below: -.

PROBLEM has BEEN SOLVED NOW by tuning in ORACLE ENTERPRISE LINUX 6.5 (making the new facility). I want to especially thank you Aman.... for his great support and advice. Also be sure to check the blog that I have prepared during installation.
Blog URL: Setup Guide of grid complete Oracle 11 g on Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.5
In order to perform the complete Oracle with the Installation of the grid. Follow the mentioned below of the measures accordingly.
1 install Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.5 (if you have already installed OS then follow step 2)
2 oracle 11 g with Installation of the rack on Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.5 (part of the Configuration)
3 prepare the disk to ASM DISK using ASMLib
4. infrastructure installation oracle Grid (DATA of GROUP of DISKS ASM creation)
5. using creation of GROUP of DISKS ASM FRA ASMCA (ASM Configuration Wizard)

Hi all
Thanks for all the people for supporting me for several days in the past.
I met another problem.
- Installed Linux 6.5 on 3 machines
- VSS-DB-SERVER
- VSS-OTM-SERVER
- VSS-BI-DB-SERVER
- The VSS-DB-SERVER installed Oracle 11 g DB. (Able to access any part of the world by SqlDeveloper) $ORACLE_HOME is perfectly set and the database is running
- VSS-OTM-Server I installed the below in the respective order successfully.
- JRocket
- WebLogic Server
- OSH
- OTM 6.3 (no FTI)
This is where I am facing the problem.
This server how to use sqlplus / as sysdba
As I need to perform a certain activity post installation.
I don't know if this is the right forum, but I don't know that this forum has a lot of capable people, let me know if I have to go to another forum
Thank you

Why are you trying to run sqlplus on a server that is not running the database? Just run it on the database server. However, if you really need to run sqlplus on another machine, you must install it. Look for the Oracle Instant Client and install the Basic and SQL * Plus packages to get the client works. You will need to use the forum of the database for more information on how to set this up, however.

ERROR: Error Message received from the Node Manager Server: [server with the command for WebLogic server 'WLS_FORMS' failed due to:]

I need someone help please.
Kind regards

Hi Friedhold
You can start the command line WLS_FORMS?
I want to know if it's a configuration nodemanger error or a forms runtime error.
12 c you must start all managed servers command line the first time. 11 g, Oracle made for you.
12 c is no security directory to the boot.properties file so create.
If information of name of user and password of the noch (boot.properties or Nodemanager) are then forms are not used will be able to start

Missing ORACLE_HOME, SQLPLUS - bash: sqlplus: command not found
OK, I'm a newbie, but a real difficulty with my G 10 DB I had implemented on Unix Solaris, but someone has been messing around with it, and now I can't see ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_BASE and ORACLE_SID, they return all empty when I try to 'echo' of each.
I realize I should have initially he set in Bash_profile, but now is too late.
So, how can I set them back to the top, I can't get SQLPLUS / AS SYSDBA... bash: sqlplus: command not found
I tried to reset and to export but still does not work.
I got the ORACLE_BASE as:
Training:/export/home/training/product/10.2.0/Db_1:N
but, can't seem to define three variables to launch SQLPLUS, any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Tried messing around to reset but nothing works, it's the current state of things:
env
SSH_TTY = / dev/pts/3
USER = training
ORACLE_SID = training
ORACLE_BASE = / oracle/app

SHLVL = 3

Hello all;
I'm about to upgrade my server ESXi from 4.1 to 5.1 in the next few days. I through vCenter Update Manager and have taken the appropriate steps of research. My question & concern is good.
I want to see want happens through DCUI but I don't get - bash: dcui: command not found
Now, I have followed the links:
VMware KB: Access Direct Console User Interface (DCUI) since a SSH session
VMware KB: Enabling root on an ESX host SSH connection
and logged in as root but the command does not run. I'm not able to view the DCUI (which is weird, indicating that another host on the vCenter, I can't PuTTy (SSH) in this host and see the fine, same DCUI ESX & build number.)
Any Suggestions?
You can connect to the Service Console, but keep in mind, there is no way to make a room upgrade from ESX to ESXi - 4 or 5 - there must be a new installation.

vifptarget: command not found since the upgrade
I upgraded my camera vma 5.1.0.0 Build build 782391 to 5.1.0.1 1062361 this morning and now when I try to issue the vifptarget command to specify one of the guests in my list as target I get
-bash: vifptarget: command not found
I can see the man page for the command and I noticed that it in/opt/vmware/vma/bin/as well as vifp that works to add or remove hosts.
I tried a logout or restart the device, but that did not help. I tried to add location of the command on my way and that only errors generated.

1. from the vMA console, open the /etc/bash.bashrc file in the vi editor.
2. Add the following lines at the end of /etc/bash.bashrc
alias vifptarget = ' source/opt/vmware/vma/bin/vifptarget '.
source/opt/vmware/vma/bin/completion_vifp
source/opt/vmware/vma/bin/completion_vifptarget

3. run:

esxupdate - command not found ESX 4.0.0
Trying to get our patched up ESX environment. It was installed by my predecessor, and nothing was ever patched.
When I try to run esxupdate (in root), I get "Command not found". I have access to/usr/sbin / and see esxupdate in there, but I can't run it yet.
I'm a complete linux noob, so I'm stumbing around that with a lot of Google searches and poke-hope and methods. Can someone help me? I would like to fix some of the bugs that this environment has...
Welcome to the community,
Although patches can use command line tools, the recommended method for patch/update is using the Update Manager. Since you mention ESX, I guess you have vCenter Server and Manager Update up!

Command not found in the service console ESX 4.0 u2
Hi all
I have a very simple question.
I have haven´t access to the service console ESX 4.0 for some time and today I need run commands to verify information on some host bus adapters.
I logged a user then used 'su root' to switch to the ROOT user.
I use Putty to connect to the Service Console.
But when I try to execute the following commands it said "Command Not Found":
vmkload_mod
esxcfg-module
I read VMware KBs, that say to use these commands for this version of ESX, but I can´t do run.
I think the answer is something very simple, but I can´t find it.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you
