command racadm iDRAC7 to delete the user indexed

iDRAC7 command racadm to delete the user indexed?

Background: R720 using the iDRAC7, 1.57.57 firmware

Tried to find a way to remove a user account from the DRAC interface.  You can add a new user quite easily, but it doesn't seem to be an option to delete a user.

I searched the web and found the following RACADM command several times, line entry but it doesn't seem to work with iDRAC7...

Syntax: racadm config-g o -i ""

but when I tried to use this command with the NULL entry [""], it is not accepted

PS > racadm config-g cfgUserAdmin-o cfgUserAdminUserName-i 3 «»
ERROR: Invalid syntax. An object value must be specified.

This ability has been removed from iDRAC7?  Is it possible to remove a user from iDRAC7?

Update:

Tried suggestion of Daniel by reorganizing the parameters, but unfortunately I do not have the same results.

PS > racadm config-g cfguseradmin-i 3 o cfguseradminusername «»
ERROR: Invalid syntax. An object value must be specified.

However, it occurred to me that I was issuing the command in PowerShell via Windows Server 2012 OS and that could be the problem.

I re-tried the original syntax using a SSH connection instead, and that seemed to do the trick.

/Admin1-> racadm config-g cfgUserAdmin-o cfgUserAdminUserName-i 3 «»
Value of the object successfully changed

It seems that MS PowerShell interprets the entry incorrectly – maybe he uses a different character set... Note: it works via PowerShell IF you put a value (ex: 123456), he's not only the possibility of NULL value.

Can be a value of further investigation or at least a technical note.

Go to the control panel. There are several ways to do this, but the most common is to go to the Windows Start menu and click on "Control Panel" on the right side. Follow whatever it is more convenient for you.

    2. 2

Click on "user accounts" in the window that appears. Or, you see the standard view (with lines of icons) or the display of the categories (which is explicit). Both have a shortcut to the user accounts Control Panel.

    3. 3

If a control panel is not yet made, click the 'user accounts' Panel at the bottom of the window. If so, you can skip this step.

    4. 4

Click the link you want to get rid of any user account.

    5. 5

The next window will have a list of actions you can do for the user account, one of which will be "remove account". It is the action that you'll want to click on.

    6. 6

The last window that you will see will ask you if you want to keep the soon-to-be-used user represents the files in a folder on your desktop. It's your choice here.

      • If you have already backed up all important data on this user account, you can safely click on 'delete files '.
      • If you do not, you must click "keep files".

  • Cannot delete the user folder?

I can't delete the folder \\JONESPC\Users\Jack2 I tried to use regedit, but just ended up with a new \\JONESPC\Users\Jack2.JONESP folder

This problem occurred when I tried to change the username to my main account I could do successfully by using the mode without fail & regedit
But in the process, I created a new account I wanted to delete it later
I went through the normal process via Add or remove user accounts & then click on delete the user account & then remove all files
    But this folder Jack2 remains!

    Then try:

    1. Safe boot mode.
    2. Log in as Jack.
    3. Property to enter the profile folders that bothers you - see here.
    4. Rename the folders unwanted profile by adding the suffix .junk.
    5. Wait a week.
    6. If all goes well, remove the folders of .junk.

  • How do I cancel the target account without deleting the user in the system target?

    Hello Experts,

We need to know if it is possible to revoke a resource (delete account), without deleting the user in the target system.

    Example:

UserOim1 in IOM has a resource of SAP ECC, is linked to the SAP UserSap1user.
We need assign SAP UserSap1 user to another user of IOM UserOim2.
So we'd like to broke the link between UserOim1 and UserSap1 (without deleting the SAP user) and then connect the SAP with UserOim2user.

    Is this possible?

    Best regards
    AT

If you move a resource from one user to another, there is a process of service account for this.

Using the API under tcUserOperationsIntf, you can use changeToServiceAccount. Next moveServiceAccount will move to the instance from one user to another, and finally chageFromServiceAccount turn off the type of service account.

This account must really be identified as a service before all the shares of account account occur however. There should be no other reason to switch from a users account. If the account is defined as a service from the beginning account, simply attach existing adapters for the tasks of service account. They will fire instead of disable regular and delete tasks. I think that you will always have questions if the revoke occurs, and then you run these tasks because all the other tasks will be canceled State.

  • Process definition delete the user

    Hi all

We have created Resource. For model this model resource, I added delete task so that each time the resource is revoked the request will go to the group admin system. He's going to be updated manually (setResponse) to revoked.

But when I click the button remove all tasks within this resource will cancel the State and I'm not able to see the delete task in the history of the resource.

    Thank you

You must add the task to the user to remove the tab undo of any cancelled task (usually create the task of the user). Once you do this, your task to delete the user will trigger.

  • delete the user in R12

    Hi all

is there a way to delete the user. It seems that I can't remove the user only to turn it off.

    Please advise!
    Thanks in advance.

I agree with Tim on end date the user instead of deleting the account. However, in my view, it should be a good rename a user. All references to the user application names are based on the not the column USER_NAME and USER_ID.

  • How can I delete the user?

    Hello

The removal of the average user is similar to Windows 7 and Vista, but how to enter here into a difference of "bit". Please try this:

    • Hit the Windows key & I at the same time
    • Click on Control Panel,
    • Click on user accounts,
    • Now you can find another account and delete it.

    I hope this helps.

  • Delete the user RMJTAPI account...

I have a strange problem where I am required to remove and then re-create the account rmjtapi on our server of the IPCC. It is a network of production of about 50 agents from 05:00 to 12: every day.

If I remove and then re-create the account of rmjtapi, it deletes all agents as well? Can I set up each agent from scratch again?

You can delete and recreate rmjtapi user without any problem. Agents config is stored in the DC directory. After creating the user rmjtapi just assign phone agent to this new user.

Original title: My Windows 7 laptop is plugged in and not on a network. My lack of understanding of the work and networking groups made me make a mess in the implementation

I implemented 'users' as I could and now I find that in large part is loaded on my computer and I didn't need to have to deal with two identities to myself.  Can I fix or would it not be better to reinstall Windows a user, a set of files on all and the guest account will be switched off.  In addition, even though my computer says that it is a working group, the only internet connection I have is the LAN.  Can someone put me directly.

  • Delete the user Functionctionality usning IDXML in OAM.

    Hi all

As I know that there is no IDXML to delete a user of OAM.

But, I have a requirement to remove a user.

Please suggest me a solution or guidance to achieve this functionality.

    Thanks in advance.

    Siva NAKI.

    Hello

It depends on the configuration of the workflow: If the step of the workflow is 'Delete' instead of 'Turn off', then the user will be removed completely from ldap, but the way it is called by idxml is the same.

    Kind regards
    Colin
