Comments ISE self-provisioning Portal

Hello

I get the portal page comments and my credentails authenticate correctly and the device is authenticated using MAB. Then I redirect to the portal and get this message

This device has not been saved

You must manually configure your device

Configuration of your device is not supported by the Installation Wizard

Device ID< mac="" of="" my="" windows="" xp="">

No idea how to enable self-registration for guests?

My goal is when comments is authenticated first time must enter information identification and registered MAC address, then when comments come again, it will spend only authentication without MAC address registration.

Thank you

I hope it would be only certain types of admins/helpdesk do PW reset because you must connect to the WebView in order to run the workflow... in any case, you can follow this tutorial for a Webview based in vCO:

    http://www.vcoteam.info/articles/learn-VCO/107-create-a-simple-VCO-self-service-VM-provisioning-Portal-part-3.html

    Regarding the other prerequisites:

vCO must have the ad plugin installed and configured to use SSL when communicating your AD environment. It is a requirement for users created with passwords and resetting passwords.

When you get to the step of the tutorial for mapping a workflow, you'll want to use the workflow to "Change password". This is a workflow of library Active Directory that are available after the installation of the plugin AD and the vCenter Orchestrator Server service restarts.

  • iOS Provisioning Portal. Help!

    Hello

I'll upload my first multi-question application to the AppStore, but I found a number of issues.

With the DPS workflow, I had no problem, but when it comes to certificates in the iOS Provisioning Portal a lot of questions have been raised.

The first problem I had is I downloaded the manual (Adobe iOS edition Companion Guide... January 31, 2013) but it was already out of date because they have changed the look of the page and there are things that do not match.

Following the steps described at best, I created the following certificates:

    -Certificate of development (.) REB +. P12)

    -Certificate distribution (.) REB +. P12)

    -Development mobilprovision

    -Mobilprovision distribution

I also have Push certificates (because I want to add new publications of the app in the next few weeks and I would like to inform people):

    -Aps development.p12

    -Aps production.p12

After all this, I created the application with the application Builder of DPS.

The first problem I had was the Push certificate 'aps_development.p12' failed. It breaks down and I don't know why.

Without adding the push option, I could finish the process, download and try out on my iPad App. It works and I can add publications.

My questions, not to mention the problem with the "aps_development.p12" are:

-For the application next to several question that I create, do I have to recreate all the certificates or only some of them?

-In the iOS Provisioning Portal, I had to also create an iOS App ID, this ID App has anything to do with the product ID that is configured to publish a Folio?  What do I need to create one for each publication that goes inside the app, or just one for the issuance of the multi-app?

I would appreciate your help as I need to publish this app on the App Store as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Thanks for responding.

It wasn't the problem. In the end, I managed that a technical service man call me and connected to my computer remotely.

Finally, I was able to solve my doubts.

    Thanks New Delhi!

  • Apple: This new section replaces the iOS Provisioning Portal

I received this email from Apple:

"It is now even easier to manage your development resources. The new section certificates, identifiers, and profile in the Member Center provides a unified view and an intuitive interface to help you manage all your certificates, IDs, devices and provisioning profiles. This new article replaces the iOS Provisioning Portal and developer certificate utility. »

I guess that doesn't mean anything for us to deal with the stuff of certificate? Is the workflow remains the same just a different interface?

Poor Bob, he has to change the great companion Guides...

    Best regards

    Ulrich haha

See Bob more on this topic, it will update our publishing guide accordingly in the near future.

  • iOS Provisioning Portal

    Hello

the apple iOS provisioning portal is under maintenance contract... know for how long?

    Thank you!!

Don't know for how long (Apple does not release the amount of time), you can find information on the forums of iOS. Usual maximum idle time is about 2 to 3 hours depending on some forums.

  • Comments ISE FQDN Portal

It is possible to create the portal comments FQDN?

    I'll try to explain.

    Requirements:

Network WiFi 1) must be secured with L2-security(WPA2-Enterprise,PEAP) - redirect Web or not L3.

WiFi 2 users) should use separate external Authority(AD or LDAP, not enterprise and not ISE local)

    (3) it is not necessary for managing personal devices.

WiFi 4 users) must have the ability to change their password of the intranet portal, which is available with the FULL domain name.

There is no problem with req 1-3, it doesn't seem like chance to create the portal only for change of user password. These requirements related to the question "mobile devices do not allow option to change password" If ISE send request to change (tested on iPhone, Android and WindowsMobile with Active Directory).

    Hi Sefedoro,

The 1.3 ISE does support use of domain name COMPLETE with portals of comments. This can be defined in the authorization profile that specifies the CWA portal. However this FQDN of the portal comments accessible only by customers with active sessions in the comments workflow process. Also, change password via the portal of comments is supported for ISE internal comments and not AD accounts. Once network connectivity is established by a windows through WPA2-Enterprise client, a user can change his or her password via ctrl-alt - del-> change password option. If you use user or user authentication or computer begging I would test this process on a couple different windows builds.   BONE and the supplicant should automatically pick the password change. If you use an intermediate intranet portal, the user must connect to the wide and turn it on again for the laptop with the new credentials. You use the authentication of the computer (computer only) will avoid these problems.

  • Domain name of ISE, certificates and portal comments

    Hello world

We have a deployment ISE using our internal domain for its FULL domain name (example: ise01.private.local). Now, we want to use for authentication of access as a guest and have noticed that the default redirect URL uses the FULL of the ISE Server domain name.

It works very well for our business machines that we have our own generated certificates and internal certification authority. As we don't want a certificate, that the errors that occur for our clients, we need to use a public domain FULL name.

Are we better off by changing the domain name used by the servers of the ISE, or is it possible to change the redirect URL to use a custom domain?

I've heard suggestions that change the domain name is not supported, but I can't find another way.

    Thank you
    Mark

    Mark,

You already have a public domain FULL name pointing to your ISE?  If so, let's assume that you authenticate you if you use a CWA.  First creat a new profile authorization, under common tasks, select redirect Web (CWA, DRW, MDM, DK, RPC), choose the authentication method (in this case, CWA) and set the ACL to use.  Just below, select the name of the static host/IP and enter the COMPLETE public domain name that points to your ISE.

From there, you can create a permission policy to reference the profile that you just created.

  • ISE Hotspot / Captive Portal Web with HTTP (not HTTPS)?

We configure an ISE PoC for a hotspot (guests redirect to a page on the UPA and must click on 'accept') and I was wondering if HTTPS (and CERT, cert chains and stuff) are really necessary for this.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but since there is no real information (passwords, emails, names) transferred, what is the need for HTTPS? Is it possible to allow the plain old HTTP on the portal?

At the moment this is not possible. ISE is a safety feature and HTTP support for flow rates of construction is not yet on the road map.

But it's actually a good point. I see little room for an enhancement request to have the ability to disable HTTPS on flows of HotSpots, if there is no (optional) enabled access code since there is no identifying information to protect it during this step.

  • Activity 1.3 comments ISE

    Hello

in the version of ise 1.3 is a possiblity that I can view comments activity and export it via FTP?

I'd like to see is: what user opens what site/service. What kind of activity is the guest made while using our wifi comments.

    Concerning

    Filip

Hello Filip. Such an option is available to the ISE. In addition, only the comments authentication traffic hits ISE. Once authenticated the guest user rail traffic is more of ISE, ISE has therefore no visibility to what the user is doing on the network.

This type of information would be better perceived by your web security appliance. If, for example, if you have Cisco WSA/CWSA.

  • Tickets comments ISE with a receipt printer

    Hello

Anyone know if it is possible to use a receipt printer with reviews tickets via the portal of sponsor.

I know you can use a normal printer, but the question is whether you can change the format or html string to adjust it to your printer.

Through the documentation and the web without really find something useful.

    Best regards

    Tom

    Hello

Interesting to do with a receipt printer. I never had such application. If it works let me know please.

Your question, you can customize the print notification by playing with the html tag.

    Here's the documentation: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/1-3/admin_guide/b_ise _...

Check out customize print Notifications.. You should be able to adapt to the notification to fit on your receipt.

  • iOS provisioning Portal questions

Whenever I pass by this i get frustrated and end up making the entire process again. I'm on windows.

I am trying to add a new device, which is exactly the process of adding another device? I already have 1 work of the device.

I have a developer certificate in the portal already

I added the new device UDID

Add a new profile for the right device?

I have a mental block regarding this stupid website I can't seem to remember the process.

What should I new? I use the same .p12 but just a new provisioning profile?

Once you have added a new device, access the provisioning Profiles list, select the one you are using, and then select Edit. There, you will see the devices that you have added to your account. Click on the box in front of the devices you want to this configuration file to work for and then submit.

You are redirected to the list once again and that you have changed as a watch is not ready yet, but you can do a reload of the page immediately and then should appear the download button. Download it and replace the old, with the same name. Then you should be able to simply publish the API file, and the new version of the configuration file will be used.

  • personalized self-service portal oracle Forms link

    Guru,

I have problem with creating a link on a page of self-service (workbench for compensation for administrators).

I wanted a link that calls a function of Oracle (custom form) forms. I created a link and gave the name of the function, and she in fact opens the form.

But the question iam having is that when you click on the link, it shows you a blank page with the oracle applications icon and then open the form.

I have to press the back button on the browser to see the self service page.

I used the image target property and tried to set to _blank, _self, _parent. but whenever I see the same blank screen and I always have to press the back button on the browser to see the self service page.

Please see the attachment for the page I mention.

    Thank you

    Garnier,

If you look at the html code that is generated when you create a new item of type link, it creates a call to OA.jsp. Something like this:

However, when BSE opens a form it calls RF.jsp on the OA_HTML. Look for example a simultaneous requests link looks like this:

    ( http://ppcm02.Internal.VMMC.org:8058/OA_HTML/RF.jsp?function_id=90&resp_id=50957&resp_appl_id=20003&security_group_id=0&lang_code=US') ">applications"

If you need to add a RawText element to your oa page and call RF.jsp, passing it the similar parameters as shown above (but for your particular work of course).

Can someone help me resolved on observation about covers them cisco ise comments sponsor Portal

    Thank you & best regards

    Pranav Gade

    Pranav your answers are online,

    (1) when guest user gets connected to WiFi and connect to the portal of comments with credentials after putting the credentials then his new redirect to the same login page

wihout invites successful connection. When you use CWA (Central web authentication) there is no way we can redirect users by using the redirect url because it will always redirect users for each time they start a web request. There is no other cost functionality that will remove this condition because they have already been authenticated.  Here is a guide that explains the user experience when using web Central auth -

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/security/ISE/1.1.1/user_guide/ise_guest_pol.html#wp1296954

Can us guest login successful after login guest Portal comments or redirect any other link as google.com for guest user will be acquainted with it is able to access the internet now This is not possible, you can change the verbage and force the AUP to be displayed to users informing them that they can start their web request after hitting the button I accept.

Here's to justify it experience, once users go through the process of reviews-

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/ps11640/products_configuration_example09186a0080ba6514.shtml#final

    (2) we have appointed time profile 8hours first user login guest. When the guest user gets connected while putting in credentials on the portal of comments.

But we are facing problem after about 20 mins enhanced disconnects Internet and comments again Gets the login page of the portal of the guest and if we put the same credentials, then his work but after about 20 min interval disconnected Internet user. Check advance timer on your SSID you can be hitting the session on the WLC timeout. Please disable this option and let the functionality of COA ISE at expiration of the user on the controller sessions of.
