Comments with single controller 4402 wireless

You can configure comments with a single controller wireless... all the docs I find have a controller of anchorage

any help or links would be appreciated

Altogether. Just set up a new Interface & WLAN with no encryption L2 & WebAuth L3, then add an account of the Ambassador Hall.

This link should help:

  • 4402 wireless controller and the 1130AG access points

I have a bunch of 1130AG (35) and 1231 points of access. I just bought a controller 4402 so I could handle these much easier access points. I currently have the offline access points, so I could control. With the wireless in the mix controller, that I have to fix these to light mode or can I leave them offline.

We know not the operating instructions so I can leave them in stand-alone mode. Most of them is in the rafters in our warehuse, and I didn't have to pull of these if I have to. If I can use them offline, how can I do that?

    Thanks much for any info!

    Dave

    Hi Dave,.

    A WLC manages autonomous APs.
So if you want to centralize the management of your APs through the WLC, you will need to convert it to light and enter them on the WLC.

To convert the lightweight access points, you can choose between several options:

    1. thanks to a specific upgrade tool that you could install on a PC:
    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/partner/docs/wireless/access_point/conversion/LWAPP/upgrade/guide/lwapnote.html

    2. [the most evolutionary] by WCS, with a model of migration that could apply to several APs:
    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/wireless/WCS/7.0/Configuration/Guide/7_0apcfg.html#wp1054876

    3. [not in any book] by the following steps:
3 (a) download the CEC lwapp recovery image and store it on a TFTP server.
3 (b) Telnet to the stand-alone PA and issuing the following command:
    Archive Download-sw / overwrite/reload tftp: / // [lwapp recovery image file path]

As a general recommendation, before to convert the lightweight access points, you can be sure that the wired infrastructure behind is ready to direct them to the WLC for recording.
It's suggestions explained in the link on the above option #1.

    Hope this helps,

    Fede

  • Raid PowerEdge r.620 with single hard drive controller

    Hi all

I have Dell PowerEdge r.620 with 1 * 1 TB hard drive, Raid Controller using mini H710... When I try to install Win Server 2008/R2 x 64 the HDD is not detecting, I've read in this forum of the disc cause hard does not detect is pilot raid is not installed, but I don't have that single hard drive is possible to set up raid with single hard drive or I don't have to use raid controller but I still don't understand how to set up the server with no raid...

    Thank you...

    Dimm21
Sorry for the late reply, do you mean raid controller in the server? If you want to say, I always do not install driver coz is new server than i've got...

I want to know, if posibble install raid on one hard drive and how to configure who... Server raid controller is mini H710

    Thanks for your response

Yes, the RAID controller.  One you have?  I'll assume a PERC H710 for now:

The H710 PERC is NOT compatible non-RAID (you cannot use a single disk without RAID)... in order to use a hard drive, you MUST configure a single drive RAID 0.  This must be done in the RAID controller BIOS utility, accessed by pressing CTRL-R during POST when prompted.

Once configured, you need TO load the driver for the operating system, see the drives connected to the controller.

If you have a H310, it SUPPORTS no RAID, so you do not have to configure anything in the RAID controller BIOS, HOWEVER, you MUST always load the RAID controller driver during installation.

  • 4402 wireless Controller - Source of IP Communications - what is - this?

My client has a controller 4402, which seems to be at the origin of a TCP request on the port of 2006.

Their edge router blocks the communication with an acl.

Here are two entries in the router log:

    Apr 26 16:30:55: % s-6-IPACCESSLOGP: list of inside denied tcp 192.168.1.5 (2006)-> 66.227.171.165 (64344), 3 sachets

    Apr 26 16:32:55: % s-6-IPACCESSLOGP: list refused tcp 192.168.1.5 (2006)-> 124.115.11.71 (42315), 6 packs of college

192.168.1.5 is the management on the controller interface.

The destination is not always the same.

    Any thoughts would be helpful.

    Thank you

    Fred

What is the virtual IP address?

Definitely looks like this bug then it comes in from the IP Address of the service:

CSCsw93671 Packets from the service port sent by wlc when not connected

It has not yet been resolved.

  • Can I have different AP with SSID groups using a single controller?

I am designing a wireless network that will provide different SSIDS to various parts of a campus.  Since it is open to the public, I can't use an assignment raius Server vlan dynamic.  Anyone know if I can do with one controller or will it take a controller (or redundant pair) for each zone?  Thank you!

From liberation WLC 5.2 and later versions, you can have a lot (I'll have a doubt whether it is 255 or 512) SSID configured on the WLC. Given that you can have up to 16 on an AP, you can then assign some SSID for some APs.

The key is to configure the AP group.

An AP group defines a list of access points, which SSID these APs are maintenance and what interface they use for each SSID (the default interface mentioned in the config SSID or a substitution).

So you can have one SSID on your entire campus, but different groups AP it will link with different interfaces. I think that's what you are trying to reach.

I am currently working on an assignment and eager to integrate the identity service provider in the network. the only problem is that the deployed wireless network earlier of another provider I just need to know that either ISE has integration with the other controller feature wireless provider and can provide guest access control. The LDAP integration is also required.

According to my knowledge Yes, Cisco ISE can be integrated with another controller wireless LAN of the seller, but limited. (Aruba, Rukus) and if you want to add the external identity group to your network, then LDAP integration is required.

My question to switch to wlc reduancy we're going to assign for each AP in high availability of the primary and secondary ip address

    APSSO how will tip work

in each access point how to assign IP primary and secondary for each APs at APSSO

and the licenses are purchased for a single controller

specialists please advice of the work of these APSSO topology for two controller

    Syed,

With SSO, you must initially have an ip address for both controllers.  Then when configure you SSO, the controller HA will be the primary backup.  License is required on the controller sku non-HA.  Failover will automatically happen without problem for the AP or end users.

If you went with N + 1 and not use the SSO, then you need an ip address for each controller and each controller must be configured.  There are many deployments of N + 1 there, but SSO becomes popular due to rapid failover.  The only question is if SSO gets corrupted then both are in decline and that's the advantage of N + 1.

Your list is great for either.

  • How to join a network domain with the controller rt PharLab running?

I have a PXI system that I would like to be able to access anywhere in the corporate network. Currently, I'm access via the IP address, but want to use the host name instead. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to join the network with the controller running PharLab area.

Any suggestions in this regard would be welcome.

    Respect,

    Česlav

    Hello Bob and Česlav,

I think Česlav was looking for / ask something different. (please tell me if I'm wrong)

He really wants to do its PXI RT "look-uppable" via its corporate network without necessarily be on the same subnet (and use the IP address).

In light of the additional information you (Česlav) provide that I would say again that you contact your IT Department first to see how they prefer it.

They will generally the method of choice to do this. (both for desktop computers with respect to other devices)

Sometimes it comes down to add to "add your host name and IP address to a list of DNS.

The page that you link to is a specific way of Windows, adding yourself to a domain.

Note that add you to a domain should provide you with the ability to use host names.

However, he also did other things, which may not be possible or even allowed for other types of devices.

In most companies you don't even have your desktop admin rights necessary to add your own pc (following this way) to the area, as it may cause a lot of security issues and risks.

Because I don't really know what the establishment IT is by your side I can't really (with certainty) comment on what you should be able to do (and is not).

  • Issues with the controller of Siri

I got the last Apple TV since Christmas, and lately, it seems that I might have a problem with the controller of Siri. When you place your finger to use the contact surface, for that one click-much like the glass mini is not defined in law if that makes sense.

Does not really affect the operation but is off-putting. If you want to just to click and press down, basically click twice on it records only one. He did not have it to begin with and has not been abandoned or anything - is always in perfect condition. Don't know if anyone has similar problems or if I have an error with mine?

Sounds like it is damaged or defective for me

  • Problem with access point or wireless adapter

    Hello world

tried to connect to my WiFi, but the convenience store detects that the problem with access point or wireless adapter.
The drivers are up-to-date and functioning normally. There were discussions on BIOS but I don't know if I would be able to complete the task without bricking your laptop.

    Is there any online support?

    Hi smert

Your message is not really useful.
Why? Because no one knows all the details of the laptop, wireless network card system...
So please would you be kind enough to provide more details.

But despite the missing information, I recommend:
    (1) reset your router WLan
    (2) check the connection to the WiFi unsecured. (of course for testing purposes)
    (3) check the different (WPA/WPA2 AES, TKIP) encryption

  • Trouble with a Satellite A660 wireless.

    I just bought a Toshiba Satellite A660.

I can not connect to wireless internet. The wireless network is on and it is able to pick up wireless networks. I know that I have the right password (I also tried with unsecured networks) The Wireless tries to connect - request the password - and then says 'Unable to connect to the network' and the bar "troubleshooting."

    So far I have tried:
-Connect to different networks, including friends, school and not protected with the same results.
-Uninstall and reinstall the Belkin Wireless driver (and making sure that I have the most updated version), restart the computer each time.
    -Restart the router
    -ip renew and refresh

All the time, it's the same problem. It does not recognize when an incorrect password has been entered, just somehow, it is impossible to make this final connection.

However, there is also no problem to connect directly to the router with an Ethernet connection.

All other computers in the House - one of them is a Toshiba Qosmio are works well and can connect. I had endeavoured to put the laptop up to similar parameters like the Qosmio, but also nothing helped.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hello

Some additional software is preinstalled on your laptop that can be responsible for this? Something like Zonealarm.

    Hello

    My card mother H-IG41uATX HP works @ 1066 Mhz with single 2GB 1333 Mhz RAM (Apacer PC-10600) @ 7-7-7-20.

    BIOS is Version 6.08, 07/07/2011.

BIOS it detected as PC-8500. CPUZ shows like PC-10700 work clocked at 533 Mhz (= 1066 MHz DDR).

The processor is Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo E 8400 3.06 GHz with FSB 1333 MHz.

    WIndows 7 operating system

    1. Why does is not able 1333 Mhz motherboard @ full speed?

    2 working memory @ 1066 MHz @ 7-7-7-20 VS memory work @ 1333 MHz @ 9-9-9-24, which is better?

    Khelifi

Sure... While theoretically fastest speed of memory should be faster, there is little or no difference in the overall performance of the memory. The memory CASE latency generally increases the rated speed increases. Latency means basically 'backwardness' and this latency to counterbalance the gain by increasing the speed. Still, you would never notice a difference between the two.
