"Compact mode".

The Compact mode is no longer available in this version of Adobe Bridge. However, if you resize the application window and reduce its size, the application rearrange panels to resemble the compact mode as soon. Maximize the application window again, however, does not return the panels to the previous state. »

  • How to identify the current row in the table of selectOneChoice compact mode

    Hello

I have an af:table in which one of the columns is selectOneChoice in compact mode.  When you select the point in this selectOneChoice, valueChangeListener fires and do some work based on this line.  However, my problem is that it is difficult to identify the current line, because the selectOneChoice is in compact mode.  If the selectOneChoice is not in compact mode, when the user selects an item in selectOnechoice, af selectionListener: table is triggered to identify the current row.  But if selectOneChoice is in compact mode, user has the option to choose from selectOneChoice and valueChangeListener fires before af selectionListener: table is triggered.  Therefore, not able to identify the current row.

As a workaround is not so perfect, I tried to put the line identifier (in my case it is DetailSeq) in shortDesc and do it from there.  But users complain seeing this not user-friendly in shortDesc/hintText.  I tried to put DetailSeq as the id of the selectOneChoice, but it works not (cannot get the selectOneChoice in the table Id)

    < af:table >

    ....

    < af:column = 'Action' id headerText = "c5" width = "30" >

    < af:selectOneChoice id = "has$ {row.» AutoSubmit DetailSeq}' = 'true' valueChangeListener = "#{viewScope.backing_requestOverview.onSelectAction}" label = "Action" mode = "compact" shortDesc = "#{row." " DetailSeq} ">"

    < f: selectItems value = "#{backing_requestOverview.requestActionsMap [row." StatusUid]}"id ="si333"/ >

    < / af:selectOneChoice >

    < / af:column >

    ....

    < / af:table >

    In the valueChangeListener:

{} public void onSelectAction (ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent)

    RichSelectOneChoice actionChoice = (RichSelectOneChoice) valueChangeEvent.getComponent ();

    LOGGER.info ("Short Desc:" + actionChoice.getShortDesc ());

    LOGGER.info ("Id of the component:" + actionChoice.getId ());

    }

    Any advice?

    Thank you

  • Problem with selectOneChoice in compact mode

    Hello

When you use selectOneChoice with compact mode, it only displays a list dropdown icon on the page. For the selection must be OutputText another to display the selected value. But when you choose the option print the page with ShowPrintablePageBehavior, selectOneChoice will display the value selected, which is like twice on the page. We can turn off the selectOneChoice showing the value selected in the printable page?

  • Default Gmail in Compact mode, regardless of the changes in the settings. Clues?

I deleted the cache and responsible for Gmail in other browsers OK.

In ff Gmail reduced to compact view.

I also had the same problem with Firefox 16.0.1 and restarted the browser in safe mode. In safe mode, the problem was gone and I was able to change the display density in Gmail. It seems that the offending plugin was Adblock Plus as when I started the browser with plugins active and disabled Adblock Plus, the problem was solved as well. Only two plugins I have installed are VideoDownload Helper and Adblock Plus.

  • How can I configure my Airport Express to mesh with new cable modem bridge mode?

Time Warner sent me a new cable modem and my Airport express still flashing orange light. How can I configure the Airport express in bridge mode?

You can simply do using AirPort Utility on your iMac or iPhone, as follows:

    • Run the AirPort Utility.
    • Select the AirPort Express Terminal and then, select change.
    • For a Mac:
      • On the network tab, change the router Mode to: Off (bridge Mode)
      • Select to update and allow the base station restart.
    • For an iOS device:
      • Select Advanced > DHCP and NAT
      • Change the router Mode to: Off (bridge Mode)
      • Select done and allow the base station restart.

  • How will I know if my airport extreme in bridge mode?

How will I know if my airport extreme in bridge mode?  My internet provider suggested I check into that and disable the bridge mode for a problem I've had with wireless help all my IP addresses.

Assuming that you have a current version or recent Mac OS installed on your Mac...

Open Finder > Applications > utilities > AirPort Utility

Click on the image of the AirPort Extreme

Click on edit in the window that appears

Click on the tab at the top of the next page network

If the router Mode setting = Off (Bridge Mode), then the AirPort Extreme is configured in Bridge mode.

It's OK for AirPort Extreme setting, unless you want to play with a setting of DHCP and NAT and a network called Double NAT error.  If you do this, AirPort Utility will display a message telling you that the correct setting for the AirPort Extreme is 'off (Bridge Mode).

  • Airport Extreme in Bridge Mode?  What did I want?

I'm AT & T Uverse with Gigapower.  Until today I had 2 networks in my home, the AT & T router then the one I created on my Apple Airport Extreme.

The tech told me that I can implement the airport just mirror or fill the AT & T network.  In this way all devices in the House are on the same network.  In the past, there are times where someone has been connected on the AT & T network, but wanted to print to the printer WiFi, which stood on the Airport network.  We must also be on the Airport network in order to access the iTunes account via the Remote App.  Only, it would be easier if everything was on the same network, and we did not have to worry about switching.

I want to use Airport Extreme to give us better coverage downstairs in the House.  The AT & T router is in a closet on the floor.  The signal is not large in some rooms on the ground floor.

How to make the Airport Bill as a Repeater for the AT & T network?  What is this called bypass surgery?

Thanks in advance for your help and your big brain.

    Adam

Yes. Plug your Airport Extreme in a spare Ethernet port on the router AT & T. open Airport utility, click on the Airport Extreme, select Edit, select network and the router Mode value: Off (Bridge Mode) and update. Your Airport Extreme is now part of the AT & T network.

p.s. You need to connect a cable Cat 5 or Cat 6 Ethernet of the AT & T to the Airport Extreme router since they are in different places in the House.

  • Not able to get the 192.168.1.1 console configuration in Bridge Mode only

    Hello

I use the Linksys WAG200G wireless modem and connection mode is ' Bridge Mode Only ', in this mode I do not get the console configuration 192.168.1.1 and Wifi set-up. Please help me to solve these problems. Appreciate your help. Thank you.

    1. you set a static IP address, for example 192.168.1.2 mask 255.255.255.0 on the computer and he wire the WAG to get access.

    2. do not allow the wireless and basically anything else on the WAG during a bridge mode. In bridge mode, it works like a standard modem and all you can change is the modem related settings.

  • EA3500 router in Bridge mode

I will put up a second access point as at one end of the House's wireless signal is weak. I wired ethernet to the field. I have an EA3500 I'm trying to installing in bridge operation so that it acts as a WAP only. I tried this 10 times now. I have everything set up (SSID, pass phrases, channel, etc. and it works very well at that moment as a 2nd router.) As soon as I then put it in bridged mode, it becomes essentially a "router with an ethernet switch" wireless radio turn off (according to the tests with WiFi Analyzer). In addition, you can get is no longer at the admin page - and Yes, I know to use local access instead of the wifi chip. I use the new IP address of the router (I have a DHCP reservation for it on my main router). I gets to the sign in page, choose connect locally, enter the password, and he's going to 'pending' forever. Every time I do a factory reset and start over. There is no newer firmware than what this EA3500 comes with. It's obviously a serious bug with this model or a hardware problem. The documentation says that it works, and radio work fine until I turn it on in bridged mode - then they will switch off. The lack of access to the admin page (with her just enter "waiting") is also very frustrating. Each reset and return to work as a router - but I don't want two NATs on my network as my work WHAT VPN is not going to work through it.

Anyone else tried mode on a bridged and got EA3500 it actually works? If so, how?

    Thank you!

    Jerry

    Jerrykham,

There is a bug in the firmware that causes that when you select "obtain an IP address automatically".

You must select "specify an IP address" and then enter the required information. Example: IP 192.168.1.2, netmask 255.255.255.0, default gateway 192.168.1.1 dns 8.8.8.8 (google public dns).

The bug has been reported for more than a year and Linksys refuses to fix it. The bug affects EA3500, EA4500 and E4200v2 and perhaps others.

  • By pressing 'o' in review mini bridge mode is not opening the file in Photoshop

New user of Photoshop here and going through the basics.

When you use the view Mode in mini bridge I can scroll the images using the right/left arrows open the head image in Camera Raw using the 'R' key, and pressing on the 'o' key does not open the file in Photoshop, I knew that it was supposed to. Am I missing something obvious?  By pressing the 'o' key doesn't do anything.

With the help of Photoshop CS6.

    Thanks for the tips!

    Gene,

    Unfortunately, this did not turn.

I have exactly the same problem on two systems, two Windows 7 based charge installs CS6 and Lightroom 4.

Spent a good support of 45 minutes on the phone with Adobe and they are scratching their heads as well.  Now it seems that the revision in mini bridge would be a great way to open the files that you want to use, but in reality it does not work.  The tech that I do business with Adobe is to have exactly the same problem as well.

  • When I launch Firefox, back mode minimized; How can I change?

In one of the recent updates of Firefox, I think I gave a choice of opening in minimized and stupidly selected as mode. Now, whenever I load Firefox, it is in compact mode, and I have to restore it to open it. Not a big deal, but annoying. How to cancel this setting? This happens only on my desktop. It always opens in visible mode on my laptop that runs windows 7.

Open Firefox, resize the window, close it.
    Open it again, now maximize.
Or do your settings via the ALT "', at the top of the page, select"view"and make your choice...

  • Outlook Express wants to compact files several times per day

I deleted most of my Deleted messages and sent folders and I greeted the OE to go through the process of compaction, but happens several times a day and it's driving me crazy!   I went into the Maintenance tab under Tools, but it doesn't seem to be a solution.  I have to save at least 3 months of messages in these files for commercial purposes.  What can I do to prevent it from appearing?

Compacting does not delete messages, only the space wasted. If you don't lose messages, it's either because of damaged files or disrupt the process of compaction.

If you compacted it completed successfully, and you see the prompt earlier that 100 closures of OE, then see if you have Windows search installed. If you do, you need to tell Windows Search to stop indexing OE.

In the control panel. Indexing Options. Change. Clear the check box for Outlook Express.

If you have lost messages during compaction, see this.

Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

Why OE insists on compacting folders when I close it? :

    Recovery methods:

If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.

If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

DBXpress run in extract disc Mode is the best chance to recover messages:
    http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/default.aspx

    And see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4

A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

    And backup often.

    Concerning

    Hi man,

Unfortunately Bridge did not have the chance to be updated to touch dynamic. Unfortunately, Bridge was no updates in a while but there was some comments from Adobe that a new team is watching the bridge code so that there may be something important happens with Bridge, but it is NO WAY to know when this will happen. In the short term I would not hold my breath.

    Sorry
