Compaq DV7800: A Bios Configuration is required for the PCIE graphics card

HII

I have a small form factor dc 7800 Desktop

And I also have a Nvidia 8600GT graphics card

When I mount the graphics card on the computer PCIe slot

would you like to work in VGA connector and when I use tha Port DVI form map

Nothing... So I need a Bios Config to work?

For the factor, I put the motherboard can configure the card

I have all the equipment, power supply, HARD drive...

Can you help me?

Thank you

This card is perhaps too powerful to 240W power supply that has your PC.

I would go with a less powerful card like the Radeon HD 6450.

Also before installing the video card, uninstall you the card integrated Intel graphics and check the driver to uninstall before installing the nvidia card?

NVIDIA used to list the current of each of their cards, but now when I click on the sheet for the 8600 GT, I get very little info.

http://www.GeForce.com/hardware/desktop-GPUs/GeForce-8600-GT/specifications

The PCI x 16 slot in your PC has a certain power of only 25W max draw and I'm sure that the 8600 GT draws more power than that.

  • Need advice for the new graphics card

I have a desktop HP Pavilion a6610t with HP w1907 monitors. Windows 7 32 bit.  I want to upgrade to a graphics card that supports two monitors.  Games isn't a factor, but I'd like a card that does not become the neck of the bottle when you surf or work remotely.  I have a PCIe - x 16 available slot.  My price range is around us $100.

What should I look for another as the PCIe - x 16 and the ability to support two monitors when you shop for a graphics card?  I think the AMD Radeon HD 6570 is a good starting point.  What do you think?

    Any information will be appreciated.

Here are the specifications and the configurable option for your desktop HP Pavilion a6610t CTO. According to specifications, your system came from the factory with a 250 watt power supply. Most retail graphics cards require a power supply minimum system assessment of 300 watts or greater. The Radeon HD 6570 you noted requires a 400 watt or a bigger power supply. The CX500, CX600 Corsair are highly recommended, are favorites of the forum and are known to adapt to most cases of HP. • Recommendation for the new graphic card for the Pavilion a1250n Office running windows xp service pack 3

trying to upgarde my pavilion a1250n computer of office for graphics card MSI r5450 radeon. After installation of the new card in the PCI express and turn on the machine, does not start, screen goes black and the fans to run at top speed. The card and the machine starts fine with the ATI radeon 200 exprees edge. I went into Device Manager and disabled the ATI radeon 200 adapter, and the system still wouldn't start with the new card. Went into the Bios at startup and changed the setting of the adapter PCI E, the slot where I put the card, and still won't work, even with the Bios and Device Manager changes I made.

New card right out of the box, could be bad, or perhaps not compatible with my system? If is not compatible, what would you recommend? Currently I am running windows XP SP3 and am looking for a card that can be upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit. I know that the ATI integrated graphics card cannot be upgraded, so I'd appreciate some advice really.

    Thank you.

  • Make room for the largest graphics card

I'm looking to get a Zotac GeForce GTS250 graphics card (and an antec 650 Watt PSU) to my HP Pavilion Elite m9060n desktop. This map requires a double slot (my previous Nvidia card was one location) I can remove the small card that supports a modem 'dial-up' to win the necessary slot... Is - this okay (I don't use dial-up)? I would like to keep the removed card in case it is needed in the future. Please help this computer illiterate! I have built amplifiers etc, but never worked on a computer. Thanks in advance

Morris, Yes, you can remove the Modem card.  Exactly what I would have suggested.  You can make a cable management, as well.  You will need more air for the updates.  If nVidia is an application to control the speed of the fans for their cards, I recommend to use it.  ATI offers an app called Catalyst Control Center.  I use it to set the speed of the fan to my HD 4870 to 55%.  It of a little bit stronger, but runs very cool even in summer.

  • Compaq Presario SR1619UK: Need to be able to provide information for installing a graphics card

    Hello, everyone.

I have inherited a HP/Compaq Presario SR1619UK recently and think to install a new graphics card to replace the ATI Radeon Xpress 200 integrated chipset. What I need to know is this: -.

I have searched all over the pages of the specification and support and can not find ANYWHERE, any information on the feeding on this model (output in watts) output.

How much power do the PCI slots of power?

I don't want a top-of-range for the games graphics card, or lots of work video (I'm in my early 50 years); what I'm after is a decent graphics, which will give me good screen resolution and behavior when you work with the Adobe PhotoShop & CreativeSuite. That's why I want to know what is the amount of power the power supplies supply actually... This is quite an old model, probably, it will provide no schedule for a graphics card powerful card... and this isn't what I'm looking for, anyway.

Any help with this information would be much appreciated.

    Hello

Open the PC and read the label on the power supply.  What is the total power? I suspect not over 300 watts.

The site in the past has posted Adobe recommended and certified cards video for products Adobe.  Look at what Adobe has published.

Study it released a Guide to selection of a discrete graphics card.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-hardware/Guide-for-selecting-a-discrete-video-card/TD-p/1299011

Features of the power supply are a slipperly slope. Rated efficiency will go down with age and power more old supplies are not very effective. Not all the PSUs being manufacutered are quality power supplies.  In addition, manufactuers video card take into consideration a lot of information including the many unknowns that might exist with PCs when they specify the size of power minimum recommended power supply.

  • During the installation of Firefox 4 beta, he told me that it does not work on my Mac. When I go to system requirements, need a page for Firefox3.6 requirements. Where can I find the requirements for the beta?

The link to the minimum configuration for Firefox 4 beta takes you to a page that gives you the requirements for Firefox 3.6 instead. I guess that the requirements for the beta are different, that I can't seem to install the beta on my Mac. Where can I find the beta version of system requirements?

Firefox 4 will not work on the Mac PPC, for Mac it needs the Intel processor. There is an accumulation of third parties based on Firefox 4 beta, which should work on Mac PPC, for details, see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/

  • I plan to upgrade my OS to El Capitan.  What are the processor speed and memory required for the operating system works well?

I plan to upgrade my OS to El Capitan.  What are the processor speed and memory required for the operating system works well?

    I use a processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 with DDR3 4 GB 1333 MHz memory.

My last similar attempt on another machine resulted in a very slow computer.

    Thanks, Ron

    Apple says the following:

    General requirements

    • OS X 10.6.8 or later version
    • 2 GB memory
    • 8.8 GB of available storage

For best performance, I would say not less 4 GB and preferably 8 GB or more.

Your i5 is well able to support properly.

  • Error: "no physical memory is available to the location required for the windows boot manager." The system cannot continue. "

I have a stable system that works with a processor E6300, card mother evga 680i, graphics card 8800gts and 8gbs of RAM running on ulitmate windows 7 (32 bits - I decided to re - install with 64-bit to use the extra 4 GB of RAM, after I deal with the question below).

I recently tried to add an adapter of Intel RS2WC080 SAS/SATA controller in a PCI express slots on the card mother 680i. I know that the card works (such as "it works very well in another motherboard), but for some reason when I put it in the 680i mobo I get the following message appears when I try to start windows. (i.e. the raid controller has no windows on the disks. I always use original hard drive always connected on the same Sata port on the motherboard)

"No physical memory is available to the location required for the windows boot manager." The system cannot continue. "

I tried to turn off virtually everything I could in the bios of the motherboard as an experience (including the things I needed). I also disabled the Intel RS2WC080 card bios.

I'm puzzled. So what I want to know is simply a hardware compatibility problem, or is there some kind of workaround I can run in windows 7. For example, is there maybe some sort of way for her to start using a different memory location than its currently using? (Or is it something error message related to the memory of the bios that can only be overcome with software?)

    Thanks for any help.

I tried to disable everything in the bios... including the things I needed. No luck

Thank you very much for the reply Chris but I don't have abandoned bascially. Right now I guess the card and the 680i have some kind of incompatibility and I will just get a different mobo.

We are trying to put in place an outline report, but do not want to share the password of schema with all the proponent to avoid dropping the repository or removing drawings.

Can we create another user account and the same share with developers/modelers so that they can still continue to export the notification schema design.

By using the developer user trying to get the version of the repository
    SELECT DMRS_Persistence_Version from DMRS_INSTALLATION
If it says "Table or view does not exist" there is something wrong with synonyms.

You use Data Model 3.0 and repository is created with it, right?
Have you used my script? I guess there is no runtime error.
