Compaq Evo D5pM - problems using this model number, never find what he listed...

Compaq Evo D5pM - (Pent4 - 1.7 GHz) problems using this model looking for parts or information number.  Serial number has not been useful.

Someone said "aka Compaq D510." Trying to buy memory model (found on the case) my number wasn't so I tried to use D510 (it was listed). Apparently not the same computer / mine use 168 pins sticks and D - 510 came 188 pins. I did my 'upgrade' purchase by check the number of pins and using the already installed type.

My computer is a vertical minitower - looks like D - 510-, but like I said the components are different.

I was wondering if anyone knows a model Compaq Evo w / same components (P4 1.7 GHz; 168 pin memory) I could use for research purposes. The smallest horizontal model Evo often uses different (smaller) maps, etc..

Tried the Ctrl-Alt-S keyboard shortcut to bring up the model number (etc.), but my keyboard shortcuts do not work on this computer. Run a search for edge came up with nothing to tune.

I tried HP support and drivers.  With the help of several model numbers and found that absolutely nothing for HP Compaq or "Compaq" is in the list.

It is a great 3rd computer that I've updated w / spare parts, use it remotely, especially for music. Only problem was the dark model number. If anyone has something useful to add would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance...

PS I'm currently trying to identify MB for what it's worth, but a number of alternative model that works would be great.

Hello:

Your model is a d500 CMT HP.

1 GB 128 x 64-133 MHz PC133, 168P DIMM, 3.3V, sync

Type of memory: , (non - ECC)
Maximum memory: 3 GB
Slots: 3

This is the page for support and drivers for your PC.

QuickSpecs:

http://h18000.www1.HP.com/products/QuickSpecs/productbulletin.html#spectype=North_America & type = HTML & docid = 10946

Because nobody does more than the memory, it will be hard to find and very expensive.

You can plan on paying more $ $70 / 1 GB chip if you do not find the specification above used on a place like eBay.

You can buy a newer, faster CMT from HP on eBay for less than $70 delivered.  Memory is much cheaper to buy as well.

I created a Newsletter in Dreamweaver. I want to now the sales team to use this model in emails it. What is my next step?

I understand that when I open the html file in a browser, I can easily do a select all, copy and then paste into the body of the email. But if I explain that to the sales team, I am sure that a few of them go wrong select it and the email will get all messed up. This isn't a good solution.

I need to find an easy way for them to be able to implement this in email here. I've heard of the file called FTO that outlook uses to import these models of OTF, but not all the guys in sales use outlook.

    Please help, any suggestions?

    Thank you!!!

I would never recommend allowing HTML emails to be sent from Outlook.  Have you considered investing in an email marketing or marketing automation solution?  For a newsletter in particular, the quantity of reports and an overview of these solutions, you can collect is invaluable.  If you use one of these tools, you can insert a record or sometimes attach to a CRM SYSTEM like Salesforce and make it look like the representative signed it.  Some examples of different solutions:

  • Performance-to-many problem (using the model of the FAQ)

After reading "HOW TO: post a request for tuning SQL - model showing statement" I gathered:

I have included some general information at the bottom of the post

The following SQL statement has been identified as a bad performance. It takes ~ 160 seconds to run, but similar (indicated below first statement) SQL statements run in ~ 1 second.

    SQL taking 160 seconds:
    SELECT
    a.*
    FROM
    table_a a
    INNER JOIN table_a_b ab ON a.id = ab.media_fk
    WHERE
    ab.channel_fk IN (7, 1);
SQL in ~ 1 second or less
    ...
    ab.channel_fk IN (7);
    Or:
    ...
    ab.channel_fk IN (6, 9, 170, 89);
The purpose of the SQL is to return lines from table_a associated table_b (not in SQL) through the junction table table_a_b.

    H3. Backgroud

There are many years my company made decided to maintain many-to-many relationships in our database using pipe delimited fields. An example of field value:
    '|ABC|XYZ|VTR|DVD|'
Each delimited value refers to a unique "short" code TABLE_B (there is also a real digital foreign key to TABLE_B, which is what I use in the junction table). We are regularly using these columns with the next SQL style:
    ...
    WHERE
    INSTR(pipedcolumn, '|ABC|') > 0
    OR INSTR(pipedcolumn, '|XYZ|' > 0
    ...
Appropriate indexes have been created over the years to make this process as soon a possible.

We now have an opportunity to correct some of these errors of design and implementation of junction tables to replace the current field. Before that, we have decided to take a copy of a database to a client with the largest set of records and test. I created a new junction table:
    TABLE_A_B DDL:

        CREATE TABLE TABLE_A_B (
            media_fk NUMBER,
            channel_fk NUMBER,
            PRIMARY KEY (media_fk, channel_fk),
FOREIGN KEY (media_fk) REFERENCES TABLE_A (ID),
FOREIGN KEY (channel_fk) REFERENCES TABLE_B (ID)
        ) ORGANIZATION INDEX COMPRESS;

        CREATE INDEX C_M_INDEX ON TABLE_A_B (channel_fk, media_fk) COMPRESS;
And the analysis on a pipe delimited field, populated by this new table.

I then compared the performance of the following SQL:
    SELECT
    a.*
    FROM
    table_a a
    INNER JOIN table_a_b ab ON a.id = ab.media_fk
    WHERE
    ab.channel_fk IN (x, y, n); -- Can be Many Minutes

    --vs.

    SELECT
    a.*
    FROM
    table_a a
    WHERE
    INSTR(OWNERS,'|x|')    >0
    OR INSTR(OWNERS,'|y|')    >0
    OR INSTR(OWNERS,'|n|')    >0; -- About 1 second seemingly regardless
When x, y, n are values that occur less frequently in the TABLE_A_B.CHANNEL_FK performance are comparable. However once the frequency of x, y, n increases, performance suffers. Here is a summary of the data CHANNEL_FK in TABLE_A_B:
    --SQL For Summary Data
    SELECT channel_fk, count(channel_fk) FROM table_a_b GROUP BY channel_fk ORDER BY COUNT(channel_fk) DESC;

    CHANNEL_FK             COUNT(CHANNEL_FK)
    ---------------------- ----------------------
    7                      780741
    1                      555407
    2                      422493
    3                      189493
    169                    144663
    9                      79457
    6                      53051
    171                    28401
    170                    19857
    49                     12603
    ...
    I noticed that whenever I use any combination of values that occur over approximately 800 000 times (i.e. IN (7, 1) = 780741 + 555407 = 1336148) then I get performance problems.

I find it very difficult to accept that the old pipe delimited fields are a better solution (without taking into account any other than this search criterion!).

Thank you for reading this far. I really look forward to suggestions on how to improve the performance of this statement.

The following SQL statement has been identified as a bad performance. It takes ~ 160 seconds to run, but similar (indicated below first statement) SQL statements run in ~ 1 second.

Keep in mind that the enforcement timeframe has elapsed is a poor metric to use for benchmarking of SQL. The reason is that the same workload does not mean that the same elapsed execution time.

The workload for example shows a block of 1000 readings. There will be a difference marked by this workload reading data of the slow physical disks, or making this workload by reading data from memory in memory cache. And if it happens to be in memory or on disk is a kind of "random" thing (depends on many environment and factors of execution).

Thus, rather than measure the elapsed time and use it to compare, rather compare actual workloads. A workload of 500 block reading is faster and better than a block of 1000 DSL - despite the fact that a point of elapsed time can show the 500 read being slow (e/s physical) block a block of 1000 to read (e/s logic).

  • Beginner problem: using the model and cannot see in design or split

I put in place a model, he opened and saved as a html file. I don't see anything except in code view. Split and design view just shows a grey area with yellow outline and yellow tab with the words, "template: newbasic1". "newbasic" is the name of the template that I created.

I was able to do all my work in code view and it checks all the as valid and works. But I would like to be able to work in split view. I have no idea what I did to create this problem.

You can see the problem pages (all pages in the site have this problem) to:

    http://mrc3.com

    Any suggestions much appreciated.

It is completely invalid code and is the reason why you don't see what in DW Design view - simply may not know what to do with your markup.

    1. you can't have an editable region in thetag.  That's why DW will not allow you to do this via the user interface.

    2. you do not close the tag body the way you have.  It is closed here-

  • Problems using this program

I've had 8 first almost 2 months now and have never been able to use it and give up in despair.

I saw a few demo videos on the basics on how to use it and was sold because it was supposed to be easy to use.

I am running xp with 3 GB of ram and a discarded empty hard drive.

I can never cut the video between my brands of menu whenever I do this what it cuts elsewhere usually outside my brands of menu.

When I stretch out my calendar to make things easier to see exactly where to place my bearings, I can't see my video because it's far behind my audio files and jumping all over the place.

It's really a poster of despair that I am at the end of my patience with something that seems to be very complecated and obviously will not work properly, so can you tell me please is my PC low-power or something?

    Thank you

    There are two possibilities:

    Proxy editing, as shown HERE

    and then by converting HDV.

I did neither, as I don't shoot AVCHD, but others have and can probably help you with the Proxy, or the conversion.

    Good luck

  • model update and synchronize documents using this

    Hello

If I create a new template, and then I noticed that I want to change some parts of it, is possible to update all my documents using this model?

    Thank you

If you ask will be updated from existing documents that have used this model automatically, the answer is no. The model is not a link, but a framework. When you save your new document you do exactly that--creating a new independent document.

You CAN bind an InDesing file to another by placing pages from a doc in another. Update the placed document will cause indesign ask you to update the link everywhere where it was used. The disadvantage is that you cannot 'customize' the data for the various documents by editing in the destination.

    Compaq IT support/Codec.

    Dear community of Compaq.

I was informed by the Intel online community to contact Compaq for Codecs that are not themselves. Can you please help me by providing the necessary driver/Codec below?

The Intel answer/advice for me and my original question which is lower. Thank you very much.
    Mr. Bennett

    Intel community advice

"The device that you identified is the Intel high definition Audio interface. The driver you need really need is not for the interface itself, but for the media Codec that completes the circuit. Intel cannot help you with that. they do not have these Codecs. You must contact the Board vendor for the correct driver. »

    Thank you.

    Mr O Bennett

    You are the very welcome.

I mean, it is explore you the file and select with the mouse, then click Next and it should install the driver

You cannot copy and paste anything.

You can first try this method easier to install the driver...

When you arrive at her browse my computer for driver software option, go to: C:\SWSetup\sp27103, make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

The original file that I gave my instructions has the hardware ID you posted, so you need to install the driver (8086-2445)

  • Toshiba 39L 3300 problems using external USB WLan WLM-20U2

    Hello

Recently, I brought a 39L 3300 smart TV toshiba and got a free dongle for internet connection.

However, I was unable to connect to internet via wifi. The dongle I got from the Bank is a Toshiba dual band wireless LAN adapter WLM-model 20U2. But it doesn't seem to work at all when connected to the USB port. I checked with the other connectors USB port to watch movies and it works well.

The choice of type of network does not appear after the dongle is connected. Could there be a problem with this model of dongle? The user manual specifies a Toshiba dual band wireless LAN adapter WLM - 40U model. But the store gave her.

No matter which also I have this problem, please help.

    > User manual specifies a Toshiba dual band wireless LAN adapter WLM - 40U model. But the store gave her.

Yes, of course the problems of compatibility between the TV and the WiFi dongle could cause this problem.
I recommend to use the recommended WLan dongle WLM - 40U for this model of TV

  • CUC - uses the model of eggs of 1000 users for users of 1100?

    Hello world

    According to http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/10x/suppor...

If I select the model of the EGGS for 'Platform Overlay for up to 1,000 virtual users'
-Means that the user account and the mailbox in the UCA should not exceed 1000 UESRS?

If I have 1100 UESRS and very very low use of voicemail, I can still using this model of EGGS "CUC 1000 user?

    Thanks in advance

    Sam

    Hello

According to my understanding, surpassing the number of users speciied in EGGS will not raise any errors. However, given that the product has been tested with some settings for optimum performance, exceeding the specified limit is not recommended and very probably is not supported by the TAC in the case of any performance issues.

I had no service iphone since February, so I only use imessage on wifi. Today, however, he ceased to imessages send my phone number, and I don't know what to do. I tried to turn on and off imessage but it said activation pending and send & receive there is a circle of loading of my phone number and number highlighted grey. I've never had this happen before that I am at a loss

UH I have never asked a question here but: iPhone 5. 64G, about 38 available; I don't know what everything is on my phone :-/

This is perhaps the reason for your question?  You use an iPhone that has no telephone service?  So you have no cellular carrier currently associated with the iPhone?  Yet, you want to use this phone number non-functional as the mechanism for your iMessages?

  • How to register and use a model of timetable for consistent YouTube videos?

    Hey there,

I have a model I intend to use on a consistent basis for my YouTube channel.

It consists of a video intro, music, titles and some models of animation with the drop areas.

I want to be able to use this model for all videos and simply insert my images to save me time in the edition.

Is there a simple way to perform this?

(I have some ideas how to do that, but I want to know if there is a very simple way to do)

Select clips and create a compound clip. Store in a dedicated event (or library) and the name for easy access.
