  I just updated the operating system (win xp) family for win xp pro sp2 on a satellite L20 - 197 and I realized that I have no CD or drivers or the laptop.   The driver for Windows XP Home edition Professional and family are absolutely identical. All the drivers you can find on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp, you can use but please install them in the correct order.

  Everything works most of the time except the NETWORK card.

  I searched high and low for drivers NETWORK card including the Software and Driver Downloads section

  Get you them from the Acer site, go to this page: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers ; Select your laptop from the list (Aspire 5750z) and then on the bottom half of the page select your operating system and the Bit depth (Tip: go into Control Panel, select system, go to the line of system type for the data.).

  There, you will have a choice of wireless and wired networking. Select and install the driver you need. If you need more detailed instructions post here and I can help you.

  What do you mean with this (x 86)? Have you installed the drivers from the Vista x 64 folder or both, or quite the installer?
