Compaq Presario CQ5320F desktop PC will not read the recovery disc 1

I ordered HP discs and received 3 disks by mail. I just got my new hard drive (the former was way past disappeared. I don't know how he held for so long) and replaced the HARD drive. I booted up and received a black screen asking me "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot selected ins media device to start and press a key" so I put in disc 1. I had a screen 'windows loading files', then a blue screen with a pattern on it, ray

The Recovery Manager started, I said I wanted to factory reset and click Next, and then he asked if I wated to restore the system to factory settings and I hit Yes and then click Next. Then it tells me to insert the disc 1 (which is already underway) and they tray pops out, so I push the mouse and the back Gets the small CD icon next to him and I hear things from disc tray. The message goes away and then the tray opens again a second later and tells me to put in disk 1... >_

I tried the disk 2 and 3, perhaps thinking that they have the project. I have NO idea why it does not work. I even went into the Setup menu and it is certainly set to boot from the hard drive...

Tips, tricks, advice, advice? The computer was given to me at the time so there is no HP support more and I can not find anything by Google.

I put in the old HDD to test the DVD/CD player and it works very well for CDs and DVDs. Not sure that it would have a flaw JUST in the ability to run the boot disks as there has never been anything to take for her (although, nothing is impossible).

Anyone know why I get several requests to put in disk 1? Especially when I put in disc 1 for recovery anyway menu (so obviously that it works)?

    Unfortunately, your problem sounds like a problem with the hardware with the optical drive. The player itself must be able to refocus its lenses to switch between DVD and CD formats, and also to pass the pressed DVD and DVD burned.

    I suggest you tyre remove the device from the Device Manager Control Panel, then restart your laptop so that the optical drive will be recognized as a new component hardware and Windows will then be re - install with standard drivers etc. If this does not work then it looks like a new drive will be necessary.

    Unfortunately you say not what model of laptop you have (the removal procedure is not the same in all cases), but in general if the car is equipped with in-house it is held in place with one or two screws accessible from the bottom of the laptop that should be removed first, then the optical drive can be slid out of its location.

    Sometimes, CDs and burned DVD cannot be read with no closing sessions of engraving. You should check this option.
    In addition, this burning program did you use?
    I use Nero. Form is the program better combustion and I never had a problem.

    I understand that this E T5226 machine won't read SD card. I will try to help you with this.

    (1) did you make any changes before the show?

    (2) you receive an error message/code?

    1. check if the device is detected in Device Manager. Follow the steps to go to the Device Manager

    i. click on start, type devmgmt.msc and then on enter.

    II. research the name of the device

    If the device is not detected in Device Manager, and check if it is the hidden device.

    i. click on view under view hidden devices

    II. develop all winks in Device Manager

    III. there would be multiple entries in the device in gray Manager uninstall all entries shaded under all the winks and then restart the computer and connect the external device to the computer and check if it works.

    2. install the latest drivers from the manufacturer's Web site and even ensure that the driver is compatible with the version of the operating system installed on your computer. check if it works.

    Have you tried to close all programs and then insert the disc? Restart the 1st and then try it.

    If no joy:

    Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
    Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
    This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

    Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
    slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

    Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
    ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
    contacts data with a pencil eraser.

    Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
    manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    I have a Toshiba M30X with combi DVD/CDRW drive.
    I have accumulated 12 GB of digital photo I wanted to erase but do not want the number of CDs that can be the so I bought an external DVD LITEON EZ - DUB and made 3 DVD - R burner of plenty of JPEG.
    However, when I put the DVD in the drive of Toshiba combi, it clicks for a moment or two, but when I click on the combi drive in my computer, the folder is empty and it is said there are 0 bytes.
    CD of still works, audio and data, DVD movies fine, reading DVD-R on my Pioneer DVD recorder (for TV - looks like a video/nothing to do with PC) plays very well, but he won't recognise DVD - r with data (JPEG or MP3) on them.

    It makes no difference what software was used (Nero 6.6) and LITEON EZDUB and it's okay if the discs are completed, a single session, multi session or what - it will not play any of them.
    However, these discs work perfectly in my old office to 7 years with a Sony DVD/CDRW combination of 4 years.

    You are able to place files many MP3 and Jpeg on DVD.
    This is perhaps a reason why Explorer cannot handle the DVD.

    Try to burn the DVD with photo JEPG, but do not have the full DVD with these files.
    You must leave a free space on the media. Maybe it helps.

    But it's very strange for me and it's just a suggestion. I've never tired it and don't know if it helps.
    I had a similar problem on my laptop but I solved using compatible media. Some readers prefer different media for different types of files.

    You can check by clicking on start, click computer, and to check the label of the hard drive, he may mention DVD or DVD - RW etc.
