  Retrieve the password using a password reset disk

  This should be your preferred method to reset your password as this is something that you can do and need to do when you settle your account with a password.   Now, if you have the drive and you have lost your password it is very simple.

  1 start the computer and try to enter the password on the Windows login screen

  2. the password is incorrect message opens, and from there, you can select ok

  Change your password to a different user account

  I have a Compaq Mini CQ10-400 s/n CNC02648QX. My son has put both a boot password, we've been able to guess AND a second password necessary to access the settings of the BIOS itself that is lost.

  After 3 attempts, we get the error "system disabled 75582004.

  From what I've read in the forums, the error code is a human readable a master password hash. So I don't think all of the "e9". "passwords that I found posted on this forum already at work. (and they do not have)

  Can someone please send the password that I have to enter the BIOS and remove passwords my son put and point me to a tool that I can use to perform the decryption myself later if necessary?
