  I couldn't find any 6-cell or a battery 9 cells with the HP part number. You could do a search in stores online from trusted sellers. Make sure that its operating voltage is 14, 8V.

  So I bought a NB500 in February this year, and in April, I had to return the battery because Ubuntu has indicated that "the battery only has the ability to 38.7 percent and may be old or broken. I got the battery after 6 long weeks, but now, 4 months later, I have the same problem again.

  I'm sure that this is not a bug in the software because I used a USB to liveboot another operating system and I get the same problem. The last time I had this problem, declared the battery capacity has fluctuated between 33.3% and 38.7%, so I suspect that it can be fix with a little patience. Would it really STINKS to have to lose my netbook for 6 weeks yet so do everything you have suggestions on how to solve this problem (without breach of the warranty)?

  I recently bought a large battery capacity Toshiba for a replacement Dock Slim for my R100, Toshiba #PA3155.

  It was sold like new on eB *, but after installing to mmy R100, the LED for battery 2' wont turn on I tried to find a faulty contact but they look all "new" battery was supplied with stock Connectror coverage, so nothing seems to be broken.

  Maybe it's the high-capacity battery is broken? It takes some time until what he charged to somestate and then it will be recognized by my R100?

  I would be happy to answer, because if the thing is broken, I need to return and do another fight on eBay... :(

  That's right, the second battery attached will not charge until one is not fully charged.

  Yes they will take the power of the main battery rather than the add-in. The problem is that the system will not pass secondary battery as it is common in the main battery. So if you plan on getting a second component battery snap and sink two batteries and then hot swap in a battery replacement of the snap continue to use the computer, it will not all power in the main battery to keep the system running through the hotswap. You could try putting the system hibernation, and then 'hot swap' the secondary battery in the Bay. There should be enough residual power in the main battery to maintain the system at through hot swap.
