  I've recently updated the instrument for the Agilent N6700B Low Profile Power Supply drivers on my system. I run LabView 8.2.1. For some reason, the new LabView VIs have all their VISA Instrument inputs and outputs incompatible with my previous thread and definitions of port at the top level VI. We don't know yet what exactly is different, but I need to remove the wire and the port at the top level VI and re-create it. Do this for all my screws where this driver is used is very tedious...  Is this really a compatibility problem, and this is known?  No work around available?

  Unfortunately, I do not know what was the previous version of the driver N6700 overall.

  One thing I noticed and found strange: on a separate system where the pilot works fine (which I assume is the old driver), the pilot of VI property indicates the revision number is 104. On the newly updated system, the same driver VI property indicates that the revision number is 16. Does this mean my update failed?

  It was the source of the problem. I reinstalled the VISA type instead, and not everything works perfectly.

  I am running Calendar Creator more than power upward on a laptop XP Pro (SP3) and Vista desktop. I upgraded a second office linking W7 Home Pro for compatibility features but can not get the W7Pro to run the calendar program. I went through the screens of compatibility W7Pro without success. I moved the program from one computer to another for years with no real problems so far. I LOVE my calendar program and need advice how to solve the problem of compatibility W7Pro.

  By the program area, some of the system requirements are as follows:

  Its a very old origonally program for win3.0 and could thus be a program 16 bits, and if you have win7 64 bit his will never run unless you use an emulator, such as DosBox.

  Basically, you can solve a problem of compatibility, otherwise that by getting an update of the program, if such exists, or using an emulator or virtual winxp, but one such solution will be more difficult than its worth (if even that works)

  Time to move and use the calendar provided in windows live essentials, or another more upto date schedule program

  Does anyone know if this is compatible with my C870?
  It seems to fit but I wanted to try it incase it damage the battery or something.

  I don't know if anyone would be able to help, but I recently posted on my power supply blow. I was able to get in touch with a diet that is supposed to be compatible with my laptop. The reference number of this power supply is PA3378E-1ACA which is 15v 5A side, and one that exploded because of worn wiring part was PA3378U-1ACA.

  Would it not good for me to use it? My laptop was left uncharged for days now, really needing to work! :(

  For voltage, + or - 5%-7% is ok, for power 90W is much better than 65W. Should be allowed to use the new charger.

  I just checked my c309a diet it's part number 0957-2259.  If your part number is the same, it will work.  If a number of different part check the voltage and the output current below the part number, mine is + 32V 1500mA.

  HP uses size power supplies standard then it will be good.  However, I would check that all the connectors on the right are on your replacement POWER supply.

  I contacted ACDSeeSystems.  I've learned there is compatibility issue with W7.  Load to get their new program.  Yes, I did.  It is not a very important function as that I have absolute requires.  I asked more than ACDSeeSystems to solve the problem, for which I would be happy to pay a reasonable price to be negotiated.  No takers.

  Now, I have money, but I don't have time to spend trying to work around all of these changes.  I want to just keep doing the same thing, the same way, because it is fast and efficient.  Is it not what computers are for?  And I tried to run the program in XP mode as suggested on other sites and didn't work as others have reported who have tried the suggestion.

  Whenever programs such as XP to W7 are forced on us, it takes a lot of time to do what I've done before.

  It is Windows Media Player.  Verson, 11 years and less, worked fine on XP.  Will not work on W7.  Fine, load the new WMP. New version with W7 has a mind of its own.  Keep download albumart undesirable, even when the property functions are sent to NOT GET ALBUMART.  Supposed to MusicBee.  Took weeks to figure this out.
