  The MGBLX1 is intended to be used with the Small Business of switches range.  Research on the matrix compatibility SFP 2960 X will not support the MGBLX1.

  If you try to connect a MGBLX1 on a switch of small business goes to a catalyst, the FPS on the catalyst must be a GLC-LH-SM.  That the info came from the small business to the table of compatibility SFP Enterprise.

  Hi, it is advisable to use SFP Dell brand to avoid compatibility problems. You can select the type of SFP based fiber race length.

  The X Catalyst 3750 - 12s switch is a based FPS you don't need SFP transceivers. Take a look at table 6 to the Cisco Gigabit Ethernet transceiver Modules compatibility matrix for details on the supported transceivers and the OS release that they are taken care of.

  What do you really want?  Ask yourself if it's a "good idea" to use brand X SFP in Cisco equipment?  If so, it is to you.  I believe that if you have problems with these SFP modules, Cisco will not support you unless you use their SPFS.

  Then, if the brand X SFP work and they cost less, then it can be a "good idea."  If you have problems, then it may not be a "good idea."  Can't tell how the reduced cost (?) vs Cisco support is important to you.  It's something you have to decide.

  Can someone tell where I can download the Cisco 10 G SFP + with DOM data sheet? I could find one, but it does not include details of digital optical monitoring (DOM). Unlike in 100Base, care data SFP SFP 1000Base, it includes information on the DOM.

  The main 10GBASE SFP + form indicates these transceivers support digital optical followed in the main features section right at the top:

  There are no more details, but I can testify that they have it and it works fine. I used it several times.

  We have an ASR1002 edge router I need to connect a 100 LH SM Fiber (1310). I have a GLC-LH-SM and a SFP SFP-GE-L. I need to set the speed to the ASR for the interface of the FPS to 100/full. The IOS does not "speed" controls at the interface level. Can I set the speed to 100 for one of them and, if so, how?

  Cannot change the speed for SFP module.

  However, for the 100 M SFP Transceiver compatibility Document (link below), the ASR1002 supports the module of GLC-GE-100FX of 100 MB interconnects (split into a compatible slot in GE).

  I'm under ESXI 6.0 and installed the latest drivers from intel PCI X 520 10 Giga cards with branch above DELL SFP modules I searched the forum for similar issues and found that it was perhaps the module are not supported so here my info of the commands below

  I have also the same out put regarding this thread cards PCI of Intel x 520 (82599EB) and the correct SFP + modules

  Hello friends,

  I see quite a few new features on the market with Thunderbolt 3. According to the FAQ of TB3 Intel, TB1 and TB2 was designed with future upgrades in mind. This means that you can connect, once a solution is available, on a host of TB2 TB3 system using compatibility mode. It will only work to 20Gbps TB2, but work remains. The same is true of peripheral TB2 TB3 host computer (will work but at slower speed)

  This would be similar to the connection of a USB 3 device on a USB 2 or 1 USB host but only get speeds over slow or vice versa.

  
  

  The question I have is that if someone came out with these fittings/adapters? What I've seen online seems to go using a device of TB2 and TB3 host and each of these adapters is Windows only. I have spent too many hours searching so I'm curious to know if someone has yet to fall on an adapter or converter that connect DisplayPort TB2 host and have the device USB-C/TB3 (USB - C not only) in compatibility mode.

  The reason? Peripheral TB3 are already less expensive than TB2 devices. I don't know who will get the most expensive. I don't care 40Gbps if he gives me a simple way to add multiple devices USB 3.0, exhibitions and maybe the eSata device. I know there are hubs, but I would prefer something that is the test of the future TB3 would be cheaper and future proof for NeXTGen computers.

  You're not talking Apple here.  It is a moderated forum for Apple to discuss features and troubleshooting. Apple-> system-> software update Preferences menu contains options to disable automatic downloads, although the Mac App Store update itself for Snow Leopard activates the automatic notifications of updates.  While a nuisance, you have just to tell more later, only choose to update once you have read the documentation to verify that its good operation with what you have.  Always back up your data before allowing updates.
