compatibility Windows 10

Hi all:

I have my Windows 10 Upgrade resereved.

And I ran the compatibility check that was included in, and it is said {NO} problems found lucky me, I just hope that it stays that way.

That being said.

Does anyone have an idea if my OEM applications will continue to operate under Win 10?

I love my CyberLink Apps and I really don't want to lose any of them.

So nobody knows if HP plans on turning off the new pilots who will support Win10 for my laptop?

I know that Windows will detect those that he needs, but drivers for my graphics card Catalyst is really important to me because of the UI it uses...

And the settings I do in them for some of the games that I run.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @WasteLandSavage,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, so many other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff.

I understand that looking for information about drivers for your laptop with the upgrade of Windows 10 when it becomes available. I'm happy to help you with this.

As for what happens with any particular App, no one can really say that the Tech Preview continues to evolve. Until it is in its final form it has no way to answer you. The drivers are a similar problem. HP can only test based on what he currently has, and which changes. We get closer to the official release date, information should become clearer.  Please visit www.hp.com/go/windows10upgrade for more details. HP provides information on which units have been tested and qualified with Windows 10 it will be available.

My windows 7 media player is running in compatibility windows 95 instead of 7. is it right for player 12.0?

If his job very well then ok because compatibility is just to give the application to an environment in which it can work, but it is not necessary to activate the compatibility and select any version of Windows, because the reader already supports most of the formats.

You have a question? AA6 is not fully compatible with Win7, probably not at all to a 64-bit system. The recommendation is to buy AAXI. If you manage to install AA6 on Win7, you can optionally change the port of the Adobe PDF printer to FILE and then print to file. It is a PS file and will then be run through Distiller to obtain a PDF file. This may or may not work for you. I've experimented with AA5 and managed in this way for a Win7 32-bit system. Not a great solution, but it may meet your need.

  • S5-1014 Desktop: compatibility Windows 10-How do fix my computer tested by HP?

Using the HP Wizard, the action list includes getting my PC tested by HP for compatibility with Windows.  Whenever I click the red button to do this, I get a generic response, saying that the computers manufactured before August of 2013 are not compatible.

My question is how and where to test to see if it is compatible.  My computer was made in 2011.

    Is it automatically not compatible?

    Hello

HP won't provide any support for the drivers for your PC as it was made in 2011.

    Will upgrade your PC successfully?

    He's a stranger.

I kill the installation of current operating system by trying the upgrade of winning 10 in your situation. I and have updated PC in the circumstances that exist for you. But I did the upgrade on a system operating second, cloned, SSD. I also had to restore failures Win 10 updates when the user has not taken precautions before moving on to Win 10.

Updates worked, some failed. Updates the system down was recoverable and others had to be recovered by using the factory recovery disks.

Microsoft still does not resolve failed upgrades. HP will not support your PC 2011, if the upgrade fails unless you pay them. HP doesn't support the operating system that is installed at the factory.

How is it that a laptop that isn't so old or so cheap does not have to be compatible with Windows 10?

I guess that in this forum from a user to anyone will be able to answer this question, but from my point of view of a few each notebook / computer manufacturer must decide which models would get additional software support...
Toshiba released still many laptop models in a short period of time, and in my opinion that it is not easy to provide support for all series laptop... so somewhere it is necessary to make a clear cut...

But you can still install Windows 10 laptop and I am sure that the system will work perfectly, but probably some portable devices is not available due to lack of software...

  • Pavilion Slimline s5780t: compatibility Windows 10

    Hello

I have a friend with the model listed above. It was recently upgraded to Windows 10 (translation: Microsoft forced the upgrade on him without his consent). His PC was working fine before the upgrade, but since then, he has been presenting all kinds of different problems.

Before you start to look at the details, I just wanted to know if this model of PC is compatible with Windows 10 in the first place. I came across the site of HP in the hope of finding this 'picture' of the models tested, but have not been able to find it anywhere.

Could someone be tell me if the s5780t flag has been tested with Windows 10 or direct me to where I might find myself?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello:

HP does not support this model for W10, and there is no W10 driver for it on the support page.

Here is the link for the product... it's 2011, which is older that the deadline for what tested HP of the PC for the W10.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-slimline-s5700-desktop-PC-series/5035352/model/5060992/document/c02682452#AbT0

Here is the link to HP on compatibility with W10...

    http://h22207.www2.HP.com/us-en/document/c04731185

This PC must be able to run W10 OK on the basic material.  I have two HP business class PC with Sandy Bridge CPUs and chipsets, and they work fine.  Audio different chips well (Realtek).

Now if this model has a tuner TV and other optional devices, those who can not work.

The Beats Audio may not work... However, try this driver W10.  It works on many HP PC with audio IDT bat.

This package provides the Tempo IDT High Definition Audio Driver for assumption of office models that are running a supported operating system.

  • Pavilion p6267c: compatibility Windows 10

I have recently installed Windows 10 on my HP desktop.

My Microsoft Wheel Mouse Opticcal works fine at the start; But if the computer goes to sleep, the mouse does not work when the computers came back upward.  I have to unplug the mouse and plug it in again to make it work.

I couldn't find a driver for Windows 10 online, so I called Microsoft.  They looked at my computer and told me that they don't think that it is compatible with Windows 10.

Is this likely?  Is there a fix without incurring a cost?

    Thank you.

    Hi there @Winyah67,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!  It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that Microsoft has indicated that they believe that your computer is not compatible with Windows 10. I'm happy to help you with this.

When I checked your computer model, I found that there are no specific drivers for Windows 10. This isn't an insurmountable fact. If you upgraded your computer using the compatibility check, then Windows 10 already checked your system for compatibility with the operating system and then went ahead. When Windows 10 was released, Microsoft stated that any system that is running Windows 7 or 8.1 was eligible for the free upgrade to Windows 10.  Of course, to see the wide range of hardware and software installed in networks, it is impossible to check all the possible combinations of hardware and software and components elders are not likely to get the specific drivers of Windows 10. This has always been the case when the most recent operating systems are available. Old programs and devices do not always work with it.  In the case of Windows 10, the preliminary compatibility test was to see if there was material that was absolutely incompatible. If it is passed then the existing driver might work or Windows 10 had an internal driver that he could use.

Now, all that being said, you can always try to install and use a 7 or more former Windows 8.1 driver and see if it will work, or you can try to install again, but this time using the mode of compatibility in Windows 10. It can solve the problem. See this Microsoft supportthat paper can help you with this: how: install and update drivers in Windows 10 -answers.microsoft.com

Please let me know if it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

    Hello

I went the sitem HP (http://www8.hp.com/us/en/ads/windows10/support.html) to see if my computer is compatible with the Windows 10 improvement (I got an authentication failure the last time I tried). But the site is no longer has a field to type the model number of the computer to ensure compatibility. Please hurry! I'm short on time.

    Thank you

    Tom

You are the very welcome, Tom.

This happened to me on one of the PCs I've upgraded to W10.

    It will not activate.

I restored on W7, re-upgrading to W10 and it activated successfully the 2nd time.

I don't see why this has happened.

I assumed that if W7 has been enabled, then everything would be fine.

If you find that you cannot upgrade to W10, or activation fails again, please read the info on the link below to find out how to return to W8.1.

  • Compatibility, Windows 95, Windows 7

    Dear Microsoft,

There is a game called "Titanic: Adventure Out of Time" I thought to buy. It was published in 1996 by Cyberflix. However, I have seen on many websites that it is compatible with "PC: Windows 95, Windows 3.1, 486/66 processor or more fast, 8 MB of RAM;" Mac: OS 7.1, 68040 or faster processor "." It is possible that it works with a Dell Inspiron 1750 with 4 GB RAM, 500 GB drive hard and running Windows 7? If not, what software could get to work?

    ANSWER PLEASE! NEED ANSWERS QUICKLY!

Some of the oldest software works out-of-the-box on win7. However, the chances are pretty high that you can install "Windows XP Mode", with the XP Mode, I was able to run games like "Speedboat Attack", "Fallout", 'Fallout2' and 'Z' without a lot of questions.

Windows7 does not work, so only modes XP (also try to turn on Admin rights!), try using the PC virtualization (VirtualPC by microsoft as an example).
If you don't know how / do not have the resources to run a virtual pc, you can try Googling on Windows XP, Windows Vista, or same compatibility Windows7.
There are a few games if they have a fairly large fan base, who have non-official patches. (As Z95 has a patch to work perfectly in Windows XP).
    Good luck! :)
  • Compatibility Windows 7 and XP

I'll buy a new laptop that have installed Windows 7. I'll be able to download my work at my desk top running Windows X P please?

If you talk about the Word and Excel documents, just be sure to have Office installed on both machines.  Note that Word 2007 and later versions use. DOCX format where to use the versions 2003 and earlier versions. DOC format.  You can download patches of compatibility for older versions, and you can save in. DOC format with the newer versions.  If you mean the files created by another program, you must be sure of what having compatible versions on both machines.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.

  • Update and compatibility Windows 10

Hi, I have a Sony vaio VPCEB27FD Premium windows 7 and I don't know if my computer works fine on windows 10 because on the Sony site, they say they did not drivers for my laptop but windows 10 may have the right drivers for my laptop, so I don't know if I should update for windows 10 or not. Should I update?

    Thank you

Test the compatibility of the computer

1 see this WiKi article - Windows 7, 8.1, 10 compatibility tests for Windows XP, Vista - WiKi.  It was written for older versions, but the discussion also applies to Windows 7 and article contains the download link, that you need for the auditor of compatibility [which should have been downloaded & installed on your computer from Windows 7 to Windows update anyway].

2 study the drivers before upgrading your machine - see where to find the hardware drivers.

3 search online, including the Sony user forums if they, for Sony vaio VPCEB27FD Windows 10 so see if there's useful reports by other users who have tried to level.
