Compatible antivirus for windows 7

I was wondering if it is a certain anti-virus software which is more compatible with windows 7? I was told that Kaspersky was not so consistent.
Thank you

  • DeskJet F4580: Compatible printer for Windows 10?

After you have installed Windows 10 on my PC I noticed that my printer driver is not compatible, so I did some looking on the Microsoft Compatibility Center and they said that it is compatible for Windows 10. I'm going to support HP driver and search Windows 10 driver for my printer and there was a result for the download of PS_AIO_06_B209a-m_140_408 - 5.exe. Means of PS Photosmart but I went ahead and downloaded and as I thought was not for the Deskjet F4580 even HP it clearly lists under him. I guess HP downloaded the wrong driver and I don't know that there is a driver F4580 for Windows 10 there. But my concern was that the driver for the Deskjet F4580 listed is for a different printer.

Just checked today updates for printer drivers and looks like they downloaded correct. Tested and working. Thank you HP

  • Compatible drivers for Windows 7 for Sleekbook 15-B011NR

The original hard drive running Windows 8 crashed, and I replaced it with a hard drive running Windows 7 from my old wifes computer that had a screen of shatterd. I find it very difficult to get the correct drivers to run because this drive is looking for everything that is installed on the other computer.

    Sheet 15-B011NR:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-Sleekbook-15-B000/5296234/model/5337008/document/C03...

The new hard drive came from here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-Sleekbook-15-B000/5296234/model/5337008/document/C03...

Some of the main issues are:

-The HDMI does not work, or ports USB on the right side of the computer works, but the left did.

-I can't watch videos for work in class, even if it could be the site itself, I know that a lot of people have problems with our universities online capabilities.

-When I open something like Solitaire I get a message saying ' hardware acceleration is disabled or not supported by your video card driver, which could slow down the performance of the game. " Make sure that you have the latest driver installed video card, and that hardware acceleration is turned on. »

-When I tried to update USB drivers he cancelled on me with a message saying "before installing the drivers and DisplayLink Core software, please install OEM drivers for graphics hardware of your PC up-to-date."

The computer works fine, internet works fine and it does the whole job, but I'm afraid just because I'm a student adult with some courses online and I don't want to end up screwing myself in the middle of the semester. I'm really just need help on is the ability to restore full function at all with the right drivers, or if I should suck to the top and buy a recovery of Windows 8. I had a long chat with HP Tech Support and they told me that my only option was to buy either a replacement hard drive, or buy the recovery of Windows 8, and that I would not be able to install a new hard drive and still less a different OS, which I had already done and is what I was using to speak with them , so I'm not too convinced that this cannot be corrected. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry, it took so long for me to get back to you, my computer has been... Well, she's been through things to say the least.

Unfortunately, those said drivers did not work, but however, I found a solution.

HP support didn't help either and actually ended up put me in a worse situation that I started taking my system remote access, and then start a factory reset which left me with zero work drivers and without operation of the NICs can connect to the internet via an ethernet cable.

Anyway, one of my friends found a way to make a free recovery for Windows 8 USB. All you need is a USB key with at least 6 GB that you are willing to completely remove, or is already empty.

Google: create an Installation of Windows 8 media

or follow the instructions on this link:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

For all those who may run into problems, that's all I know, and I'm sorry, but I'm not an expert:

I created the recovery drive and installed it, and everything worked perfectly. No access code required because with computers pre-installed with Windows 8, your access code is built into the BIOS. If you use a hard drive with Windows 7 on a laptop Windows 8, first make sure that your BIOS has 'Legacy Mode' active, even after the installation of Windows 8 by following the steps in the link above. That's as far as I know and what I did, and it works perfectly.

Thanks for your help, it was greatly appreciated and for anyone else having the same problems, I hope that what I gave helps.

  • I have Trend Micro antivirus for Windows 7, but I'm told it's not compatible with Mozilla 9.1, how to get an older version or to adapt?

I use a computer laptop, just reinstalled everything and now have Firefox 9.1 and tells me that is not compatible with my antivirus, Trend Micro Titanium. I am running Windows 7.

This situation should not come up again with future versions of Firefox. From Firefox 10.0 (to be released Jan 31 Mar) modules will be assumed to be compatible with the new version of Firefox and they will be not disabled, as in the past. Well sure, if an add-on does not work correctly or totally screws to the top of Firefox, it is up to the user to sort only the cottages, with a little help from those of us who provide Firefox support.

  • Compatible product for Windows Live Mail

Well, I am now taken trapped using Win7 for my beloved XP system died.

OK, I can live with most of the silly quirks of Win7, but Windows Live Mail 2011 is just so much worse than Outlook Express that I really need to find something better.

Before a dozen people automatically tells me that Thunderbird is the only other e-mail program in the world, please wait until you have finished reading.

I need a mail client that manages the POP3 and IMAP multiple, including several email addresses different accounts on the same ISP, and two accounts that show the same e-mail but use different Internet service providers (Yes, this CAN be done - it worked wonderfully in OE, and it works in WLM but not as well).

On outgoing emails, I have to be able to attach files - including images - both from inside the program by right-clicking in Explorer AND e-mail (send to - recipient of Email) and attached photos to go as real attachments not this PhotoEmail nonsense.

On outgoing emails, I need to be able to choose the account used to send the mail - and change between different accounts on the fly - including changing the account used to send a response or to transfer from an account other than the account that received the original message.

On incoming emails, I want to see the pictures attached, no thumbnails - I need to be able to save individual attachments and I need to be able to specify which individual files are saved.

Now, let me explain some of the shortcomings of Windows Live Mail in 2001, so you can understand that I don't want to...

WLM allows me to appoint each account - but the drop down menu to choose which account send uses the address email, NOT the name of the account - this may sound trivial, but keep in mind that I have multiple accounts with similar e-mail addresses, and two different accounts, using the same address through different Internet service providers.

Slower WLM e-mailing that OE was. It would be just a minor annoyance, except that it is associated with two other quirks that become a real pain. WLM gives no direct indication when it sends an outgoing e-mail message so you do not see well when he's done sending. WLM crashes file attachments while it sends the message (and apparently for some time after it finishes sending). All together, this means that you cannot remove a file after you send as an attachment until WLM moves to freeing his lock on the file. When you send an attachment in Outlook Express, it immediately copied the file in the outgoing email, and it showed you the status of the actual transmission. You could delete the file as soon as OE began to send, or wait a few seconds until what he concluded.  With WLM if you actually open WLM, you can not delete the files that were sent as attachments unless you CLOSE WLM first.  If you send files by right click from Explorer without WLM opens, you must wait at least one minute after I sent the message before it finally releases its lock on files...

WLM treats incoming with pictures emails attached as if they were these stupid photo emails, display thumbnails instead of actual images.

WLM maintains its own configuration reset to use Photo Emails even after you turn off the feature.  And even with the Photo of Emails turned off, WLM tent still send them as Photo Emails you must click in the part 'album' of the email to get the menu format that allows you to change this genuine spare part.  (Apparently Microsoft has decided that they're going to FORCE the world to accept these "email Photo" as the way to share photo files.

You hear a lot about Thunderbird, so I tried to look for more information on Thunderbird - the thing the more remarkable that I found was in fact that I've not found - I couldn't find any website with screen shots looks like Thunderbird and the current site has very little information but also no way to download any document without having to download the program and hoping that it includes a documentation.  I found an interesting user comments, and 1 mixture consisting of 5 stars from criticism of what appear to be new users (movement to webmail or Windows Mail) or 2 stars comments from people who are accustomed to programs like Outlook and Outlook Express.

I wrote this page because of the deformation hideous they did EO: www.oehelp.com/OEnWin7.aspx in its WalMail.

I always use OE and intent for many years.

I just installed Windows 7 on my Satellite L30. I have 2 GB of RAM, 40 GB of disk space ect. Are there packs of compatible driver for windows 7 that I can use on this laptop? Those who would be best (I know it wasn't a recommended upgrade, but it's ok)?

As my drivers for Windows XP are not compatible, I'm stuck with vga printed on my TV. :)

    Hi Moon Base 4,

Normally the Vista drivers are compatible with Windows 7 but that s not always done. I think you should test this because it s always according to the version of the driver and your equipment.

All the drivers and tools that you can download here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

If n t work Vista drivers you need to use a preinstalled OS to Toshiba or you are looking for on the pilot sites.

  • Software driver for Acer ES1-511-C1UU for Windows 7 64 bit

    Hello

I bought an Acer Aspire E 15, ES1-511-C1UU a few weeks before with version 8.1 of Windows authentic. Now that I'm not very comfortable with this version of the OS, I want to convert my lpatop in the version of operating system Windows 7. So please inform me if there is a website to download the software driver Windows 7.

    Thank you.

    Hello...

Windows 7 drivers are not available for this phone, because it was delivered with Windows 8.1.

In this case, you can install the drivers from the website of the manufacturers as Intel, Atheros etc. for each of the components as the video card, wireless card etc...

Find provided below for information about the hardware on the laptop:

Chipset: Intel Bay Trail-M SoC BGA1170

    VGA: Intel (R) Graphics HD

    Audio codec: Realtek ALC283

    LAN Chipset: Realtek RTL8111GUS

    WIFI

    If it is Atheros,

    Wireless card: Atheros WB335

    Chipset: QCA9565

    If it's Broadcom,

    Wireless card: Broadcom 43142

    Chipset: BCM943142

Before you install the driver, you can download and run the hardware detection utility on your laptop that will identify the name of the provider of the VGA, WiFi, LAN etc. on the laptop.

Once you have this information, you can go to the respective manufacturer (for example: VGA, go to Intel, for audio go to Realtek etc.) and install the compatible driver for Windows 7.

    I hope this helps.
