Completely insensitive RE1000

My RE1000 does nothing other than slowly flashes now.
When I plug in the beginning in, the led lights slowly fades and then continues to blink.
Reset does not work, I tried the standard 8 ~ second reset, reset the discount to zero 1 minute and the 30-30-30 (30-30-30 reset the last section allows in light of the strong Extender effect but after a few seconds it starts flashing again)
I'm beginning to suspect that it is just a problem of material at this point, is it possible to fix this?

Hi David! Please connect your Re1000 directly to your computer and assign a static IP on your computer.  Ping the RE1000; If she responds and you can still access it, and then is always repairable. If this is not the case, your device is really defective.

When you bought your RE1000?

  • Can not leave completely insensitive - Firefox, use Safe Mode, reinstall or uninstall

I installed Firefox less than a month ago. Two days ago, that he left suddenly during the navigation. This does seem like a problem, really - I thought I would just restart - but it REMAINS open. Shows the icon in my dock (on Mac), and the menu bar appears when I click on the icon. I can browse the menu selections but can not choose one.

    I can't:
-Leave Firefox - from the menu or with Ctrl + Q
    -Open a new fenΩtre
    -Open help
    -Access to "troubleshooting information.
-Select "restart with modules disabled...". »
    -Use the Safe Mode

Because I can not use Safe Mode and cannot leave the program, I have IMPOSSIBLE:
-Uninstall (it refuses to remove, because the program is 'open', as it won't leave)
-Reinstall (I can't substitute the existing because the program is 'open')
    -Remove my dock
    -.. pretty much anything else.

I've read many articles dealing with troubleshooting, Safe Mode, reinstall clean, etc, but unfortunately I can't make one of these because Firefox is open but completely insensitive.

(PS - I tried to install the below troubleshooting information, but, even once, because Firefox is not responding, I couldn't open it lol - there was "no application available" to read it.) I can't go through the manual steps because I cannot access the troubleshooting information in the Help menu and so cannot even begin step 1.)

If anyone has any suggestions, I would be VERY happy! I thank very you much for your time and help!

If qutting, it's because of the questions are now trying down option as you click the icon in the dock and choose force quit from the list!

Also you have tired Fox fire rest functionality (otherwise said if your power to access)
    To do:

    1. Go to Firefox > help > troubleshooting information.
    2. Click on the button 'Reset Firefox'.
    3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is finished, it will display a window with the imported information. Click Finish.
    4. Firefox opens with all the default settings applied.

  • Desktop becomes completely insensitive

My office becomes completely insensitive. The computer seems to start up fine, but once it is up, no programs will be opened. After trying to open 2 or 3 different programs (of which none seem to even attempt to open) all icons on the desktop will disappear and the office becomes completely insensitive. I can of even more right click or drag a box to highlight around the office. I can't even open the Task Manager or the start menu, and no error message appears always.

I am running windows 7 x 64 on a computer very recent (only about 3 months)

I have no idea what is causing this problem or how to fix it. Information or solutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated.
    Hey Chandler,
Your computer is probably infected by malicious software. Try the sequence of steps 1 and 2 in this virus/malware removal guide: http://www.selectrealsecurity.com/malware-removal-guide

  • Is it done to unplug iMac to unlock that damage the computer? Is there a way to force close when it is completely insensitive?

I tried closing a screen and got a spinning wheel. The system was totally insensitive. I tried to close it with the power button and when it restarted, he returned to the State. So, as a last resort, I disconnected from the back. After I waited 30 seconds, I plugged it it back, pushed the power button, and it worked fine, once again. Told me you should not unplug the computer because you could do a surge when you plug it in. Is there a way to force quit the application causing the gel when the computer has been insensitive to everything? How about by pressing Command-Option-ESC for 3 seconds? That would have worked?

Command + Option + ESC only leaves open applications.

The next time that the system does not respond, press and hold the power button until the screen goes black.

Wait at least ten seconds before press power once to turn it on again.

    * Never disconnect your Mac from its power source while it is on

  • HELP: Phone won't turn on, completely insensitive

My Moto X (XT1058) has been fully charged and plugged.

When you use the Chrome browser, the screen went all black (as if I hit the power button), but the phone became completely unresponsive. No button or combinations of Chargers/cables anything.

    I tried:

-Different Chargers and cables for the minutes and hours (but the phone was fully charged), no loading screens

    -Plug on laptop, no recognition

-All FLIGHT and PWR key combinations for up to 3 minutes

Any other suggestions? or I am the GROUND?

    Thank you

    Chris

Well, after a few days of using my old Nexus S, I decided that the only chance to fix my phone would be to bite the bullet and get a new one. So yesterday, I picked up a used Moto X off kijiji for $100.

Before that I got the money, I tried to turn on the old phone one last time... Nothing.

Reloaded the new phone from the day to the next, and while he was starting this morning, I decided to try the phone again for s & g's, JUST held the power button for about 5 seconds and... LIFE! Starts perfectly, not 'optimization applications' or whatever it is, battery fully charged and no sign of what anyone ever be wrong.

So now I have two 2013 x bike!

In case someone has similar problems in the future, after the first day of load with different Chargers and based on each unique combination of button, he had sat the charger for two whole days before finally deciding to start normally.

  • Finder completely INSENSITIVE.

    Hello

I have a Macbook Pro, early 2013, OS 10.9.5. Finder worked very well. All of a sudden whenever I launched it, Finder has frozen. I tried to reboot several times, running rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist & & killall Finder into the Terminal.

But nothing works. Finder will not even open.

    Pls help!

Start safe mode and see if the problem persists:

    Restart now ' shift '.

(Wait to take more time to start in this way because it runs a check of directory first. Also give it some time after the start because he runs maintenance routines at the beginning.)

  • Completely insensitive Sansa Clip

I just bought a Sansa Clip 8 gb yesterday, and today I finally had the time and access to put the music on it. I installed Windows Media Player 11, sync my music, made sure it was fully charged and decided to go out for a run. I listened to a song repeatedly (he played throughout many times so far) when it suddenly stopped playing mid-song after about forty minutes. The menu screen do not appear, key does not turn on and I can not reset regardless of how long I hold it in the "high" position. If I connect it to my computer, it is not read (nothing appears on my computer)... in one of the USB ports. It is not read on another Windows XP computer in the House, either. I tried to install the update for Sansa, but it will not install as the Clip isn't well of my computer. I tried to hold the power button for 20 seconds, locking and pressing the main select button while inserting the USB cable and nothing helped. Curiously, it is still running as far as I can tell because when you plug / unplug the headphones you can hear the "flying" static, you would do an audio device in use. I can't return or Exchange it at Wal-Mart because I left the front desk in another State, and I'd really prefer not to send to the manufacturer at my own expense given their promise to offer a «free of defects of design» product If someone could help me troubleshoot my way in a working mp3 player, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I waited for Wal-Mart finish digging through their recipes to find the mine, and you know... after 60 hours of idleness, the Clip has decided to finally die. I could load after this and update the firmware. Should work fine now. I'll probably still pick up the receipt just in case.

  • Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit goes to a black screen after login. Completely insensitive.

I seem to have a problem similar but different enough to justify a new thread. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and after the connection, I get a black screen with a cursor that can move normally. However, it becomes more complicated as everyone else. Absolutely NO work of access keys at this point, ctrl-shift-esc, ctrl-alt-delete, windows-r, don't SHIFT five times, NOTHING that other threads have suggested. I can't do anything but restart the computer once it reaches that point.

This is where it gets weird. Regular Safe Mode actually works for me, but is not the Mode safe mode with networking. There has been absolutely no sign of difficulty with this computer before that. I already have Malwarebyte Anti-Malware, it has been updated yesterday. I checked for ntndis in the registry, nothing. I uninstalled my video drivers, now, I have to reinstall because it wasn't the problem. System Restore was only a restore point on March 1, which did nothing even though the computer was working fine, March 1. I do not have the Windows disc, I split the cost with a friend who's in Arizona that I know, and he has probably lost the drive now.

Please help, my office is useless like this. I'm on a laptop, and I have a 512 MB USB key, if something needs to be downloaded on the desktop.

    1. go to your router manufacturers website and make sure you have the latest firmware for it

    2. go into your Web site computer and makle manufacturers you have the latest network adapter drivers

  • Lenovo G510 Linux - system freeze downloading complete

My Lenovo G510, with Qualcomm Atheros AR8172/8176/8178 Fast Ethernet Controller, almost constantly completely freezes when downloading via ethernet on Linux. In Windows 7, it works perfectly, so it's not a hardware problem. I tried various Linux distributions, 32 and 64-bit (Ubuntu 14.10, 14.04, Linux Mint Debian Edition, Fedora 20 etc.) -all behave in the same way. It always happens when you download large files (like a linux iso file) and sometimes even during the download of the smallest (such as trying to install applications of deposits online, or even try to update the repository of the respective linux distribution database). When freezing occurs, the system becomes completely insensitive, I can't yet move to another virtual terminal.

I would try a bios update, but there is a newer version of the bios for my model on the lenovo site, it says that it's only for Windows 8 and 8.1 - which I do not, and I fear that it could interfere with the functionality of my Windows 7 operating system.

How to solve this problem so that I am able to use linux, do you have advice?

Update the bios to Version 79CN50WW (V3.09) solved the problem. Now it works perfectly.

    http://download.Lenovo.com/Consumer/mobiles/viwgq309.exe

I don't know about you, but the update to the bios may need to be executed under Windows 8 or 8.1. I ran under 8.1.

  • Half of the touchpad not responding completely on my G56

This product usually 2-3 minutes after the opening of the laptop and when he returns to hibernation / sleep. Literally half of the touchpad is completely insensitive to gestures, tapping and the lateral and vertical movements. The other half works very well. I reinstalled the drivers from the HP website. It will fix itself if I close the lid and open it again or reset the device in the Panel of Synaptics.

Install the latest firmware (BIOS) from here and also to install the latest drivers here for your laptop touchpad and let us know if the problem persists

completely random use of words for example buttie! absolutely no problems with phone before but its become unusable as the phone would then become completely insensitive to touch doesn't work at all and I have to restart - up to several times in one hour. IM using the new 10.1 but its made no difference to this problem - help please

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • Bad video card - last ditch effort

    Hello

I'm 99% sure this is my video card that is causing this problem.

Started a few days ago the screen filled with red pixels randomly, it could get worse over the next few minutes, and then the computer was completely insensitive - had stopped the clock and the mouse does not work yet.  I was able to ssh from my laptop, but cannot open applications and reboot via ssh wouldn't work, had to hard - reboot.  After having let it sit for awhile, it seemed better, I was hoping it was a stroke of luck.  Just right tonight (a few days since the accident of 1), he began acting again... bad.  I tried to run the Apple Hardware Test, he could not even done that - she's blocked (at the forefront in the screenshot), the mouse still worked, but even after half an hour, neither the time nor progress bar update.

I have a NVIDIA Quadro graphics card, I'm not sure that is because apparently they only give information on the card itself.  I know that it was very expensive.  Tomorrow I'll try cleaning all the contacts on the map and the location of the motherboard.  Beyond that, all I can think to do is to buy a new video card.  Is it possible to fix a video card, or is it simply not feasible?  I can also try to put it in another location, to see if that solves (which would indicate that the problem is on the motherboard, rather than the map, but I doubt that will solve it).

I removed the video card all together, the system is not is more locked up (so far), I am able to use via my MacBook screen sharing, and everything seems good function... which pretty much confirms for me, it's the video card (or slot) that's the problem.

Does anyone have suggestions until I leave shell $500 on a new video card?  This expenditure could not have come at a worse time...

I don't think I need anything too serious for a video card, I use Final Cut Pro.  I installed also just Apple Motion (literally, one day before all this crap started to happen, it seems strange that it could be related, but the time is quite a coincidence), and I join with two dual-link DVI ports.  I'd be curious to know if anyone has recommendations what video card to buy.

Thanks in advance for any advice or thoughts.

  • AppleScript editor permanently hung

I'm under El Capitan 10.11.6 on iMac mid-2011 and also 9 month old MacBook running the same version.

My Applescript Editor, for three days, was hanged in a specific mode. Two days after that the iMac has developed symptoms, my MacBook developed identical symptoms. When he started working on two different scripts.

I saw no particular model when it came.

    Symptoms

The editing window zooms suddenly to what looks like 300%. It scrolls very slowly to the top. Shows the beachball. The application is now completely insensitive and can only be stopped by force quit.

All other applications are turned off - it's the only thing running.

If I restart the application sound in the same State.

The scripts in question will work perfectly in their State.

I deleted the plist preference file and restarted on my two machines.

I sent in many Apple crash reports.

    I am now confused.

Does anyone have ideas, what I can do?

Thank you for using communities of Apple support, HeadroomSan.

Strange that both your iMac and MacBook have the same problem with the Applescript Editor, but I'll do my best to help! I recommend to choose one of your Mac and try these steps with this one. If these steps have put things on a tested first, follow them as well on the second.

Try safe mode if your Mac does not start -even if your Mac is booting, boot in safe mode to make sure everything starts correctly. Once you have reached your office in safe mode, restart your Mac normally and try again the script.

How to test a question in an another user account on your Mac - establishment of a new user on your Mac will let us know if the problem is just in your user account or if it's a systemic problem.

Your Mac hard drive backup - if you have determined that the issues is not just located in your user account, I highly recommend backing up your Mac. Even if the next step should not be a problem, it is always better to 'having' a 'need' a backup backup.

On OS X Recovery - use this article to reinstall the operating system on your Mac and then retest your script.

    Take care!
