Computer cannot be verified

Hello

I opened two applications that I use regularly on my iMac and as of today, they have both asked to log on to my App Store because the app I want to open was bought on another device. First of all the apps were bought on this computer and after I login I get an error message that my computer can not be verified...

Even when I log on to my App Store app on my computer, I get this error message, but there is no problem when you connect online.

Someone knows what can be the problem?

My credit card was valid until 3/2016, so I thought it was at the origin of the problem, but I still get the same error messages after the recording of my new credit card details.

Please, back up all data before proceeding.

Step 1

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select this option:

/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist

A right click or Ctrl-click on the line and select

Services ▹ reveal in Finder (or just to reveal)

of the contextual menu.*, a file must open with a selected item. Move selected item to the trash. You may be prompted for administrator login password. Restart the computer and test.

If there is no change, repeat with this file:

/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.network.eapolclient.configuration.plist

* If you do not see the item context menu copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. In the Finder, select

Go ▹ go to the folder...

from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

Sign out and sign test. If there is no improvement, continue.

Step 2

Reset the PRAM from your computer.

.. Finally managed to do work, and the solution was simple. I only had to start the wizard by using 'Run as administrator' (right-click with the mouse on the icon), and then the desired option is clickable.

Support HP BTW began to ask what version of Windows (by e-mail), I was using - just embarrassing. Well, at least they don't recommend uninstalling all other drivers, wait 30 seconds and reformat the drive.

I am trying the load Kaspersky Pure, but it says that the file cannot be verified

    Two questions for you:

    1. Please quote the exact verbatim of the message you get.

    2. you say "Download", but don't you mean "Download" or "install"? Don't miss the download or installation fails after you have successfully downloaded the file.

Just in case you are confused as to what the words mean, please read the following:

The word 'Download' means to copy a file (perhaps a program file, but not necessarily) from a server somewhere on the internet for your computer. Please invert not that Word with 'install', which means to load a program on your hard disk in a form from which it can be executed.

Generally, you install a program from a CD, a floppy disk or on the internet. Only in the latter case, the internet, is there any download involved, but even then, it's a two step process: first download you from the internet, and then you install it.

  • I use a free AVG antivirus to analyze my laptop and always, he reports many locked files that cannot be verified.

    original title: locked files.

I use a free AVG antivirus to analyze my laptop and always, he reports many locked files that cannot be verified. Most of them have the sign $ in front of their name, but I can't find them easily when I search for later, but they are mostly ordinary files that have been recently opened and closed. What are the locked files and can they be removed?

    Hello Omowright,

Thank you for posting.  This seems to be files that have been quarantined by moy.  This happens usually when your antivirus detects infected files and moves them to a waiting area where they can do no harm to your computer.  For more details on quarantine, I would say that you see the antivirus support site.

  • The server that you are connected using a security certificate which cannot be verified... The name main target is incorrect... You want to continue using this server?

All new computer running windows 7 64 bit, outlook and office 2007 installed, initial problems with the temporary user profiles, follow up advice and removed user profiles in the system registry and all seemed to go well. Computer works for about a week with two user profiles and now all of a sudden I get an error message when I start Outlook and from time to time when you browse the internet, it reads:

The server that you are connected using a security certificate which cannot be verified... The name main target is incorrect... You want to continue using this server? (If I hit Yes then I can send emails)

When I open view certificate it says: this root CA certificate is not approved. To enable trust, install this certificate into the store certificate authorities roots of trust. (Attributed to and: Cisco device demo certificate - valid from 10/02/2009 to 03/10/2019).

Problem is I don't know what the certificate is, what I need, to find out how locate, how to move etc, I have read a few forums, but they are starting to be too technical. I need help for step by step easy.

I tried to uninstall outlook 2007 and reloading and clearing of the States of ssl in internet options, and then reset by default (as someone suggested), but it made no difference.

Problem is when you leave the store with the new computer, nobody wants to know you if you need assistance!

Can someone please help? Thank you

  • Problem of activating Windows 7: WGA claims that it cannot be verified...

    Hello

I was wondering if someone could shed some light in the next topic. During the last 2 years, I have been using Windows 7, and so far, everything has been great. However, yesterday I accidentally sprinkled my partition Windows 7 so that tries to install the Windows 8 Preview in my home built PC. As a result, I had to reinstall Windows 7 from scratch, but fortunately I do not have all the files, because they have been backed up before attempting to install the Windows 8 Preview. The problem came when I tried to activate Windows 7 via the Windows Wizard to activate after installing all the drivers of my. When I went to activate the copy of Windows 7, I got an error indicating that the key cannot be verified. I tried to re - enter the activation key and unfortunately I got the same error. Although I was not able to activate Windows 7 via the internet, I used the phone option and was able to Exchange my installation with automated computing ID and the computer gave me a verification code to activate Windows. Fortunately, the work of function phone activation and my copy of Windows works properly. However, this process has left me with a few questions. First of all, I reinstalled Windows 7 on the same PC where I have enabled everything first copy and my PC at home built did not have any kind of big hardware changes given that the motherboard has not been modified or damaged and I've only done a HARD drive upgrade. I also reinstalled Windows 7 itself only 4 times (not counting this event of relocation).
I have no explanation for what happened yesterday, the only thing I can say that I had a few problems of internet connection last night, but the problem appeared when I was downloading all Windows updates and I can't say 100% if the problem with the activation is my internet connection problems.
I also wonder if Microsoft has a limited number of activations for Windows 7 on the same PC, where it was first installed. Would this be possible?
Thanks for the ideas and suggestions that you can give on this subject.
    Best,
    Mike

Re-activation by internet is allowed 5 times - then the next activation must be by phone, to confirm the right and proper use. I think that the meter is rest afterwards.

In theory at least, you can activate a license on the same hardware as many times as you like - MS can take a dim view of him, if this happens too often too early and require activation by telephone every time, but there is no time limit for the license. As long as you do not abuse it, you have the right to license in perpetuity.

If you used to reinstall often, it is best to create an installation is complete (with updates and required software) and the image, if you can avoid the hassle of activation, updates and reinstalls.

  • Cannot set the IMAP mail - configuration cannot be verified

    Hello

I have trouble to set up my work as an Exchange IMAP messaging in a new installation of Thunderbird. Once I put in the address of the server that Thunderbird retrieved all the security settings, which I checked against the supplied parameters that are listed in the webmail. I've also used these parameters to configure mail IMAP on my phone for triple controls everything. However, in the account configuration screen, I still got the message "Configuration cannot be verified - your name of user and password correct? (again, I checked everything I used independently and they have been accepted). Once I came out of the initial configuration screen error replaced by the following:

"The GSSAPI/Kerberos ticket is not accepted by the < email address > IMAP server. Please check that you are connected to the Kerberos/GSSAPI Kingdom".

The only possibility I can think is that Thunderbird tries to use my e-mail instead of the server to authenticate the reason why I'm getting the error. The e-mail address is [email protected] while the server is soliscom.uu.nl.

Any help or suggestions that anyone has would be welcome,
    See you soon.

Under Tools/account settings /AccountName/Server Settings, check that you have for the authentication method. "Normal password" is not the most common configuration for secure connections, Kerberos/GSSAPI, which seems to be the reason why you get the error message.

But if you are sure that the Kerberos/GSSAPI authentication is required, see this article for instructions on how to make the necessary changes in the Config. Publisher:

  • "iTunes cannot be verified.

Software update showed on the screen.

    I went as usual.

Repeated when you restart after update attempts, I get the dialogue, "iTunes cannot be verified; "Try again from App Store then restart"- or almost identical to those words.

I signed up on iTunes and back in.

I disconnected from the App Store and signed in.

I seemed to successfully download the update to iTunes directly from iTunes, but he continues to appear in the updates on the App store. When I restart the installation, it seems to continue on the same point every time - about 200 MB short term. The process seems to resume and complete normally, but rebooting produces the same "can't check" every time.

I'm a casual user of limited technical skills and feel pretty good one.

All the suggestions and explanations appreciated.

    Thank you.

After running two first aid, process completed.
