Computer cannot find the printer on the network

I have a Photosmart D110A and use a router Airport Extreme to print from my PC and iPad.  Until a few days ago, it worked fine but now neither my iPad or PC can find the printer on the network.  When I run the test report of network on the printer, it shows that everything is fine and dandy.  No the guided HP solutions even to get close to solving this riddle... it seems that any questions they discuss involve the printer will not connect to the network.

OK, so they are both on the network of comments.  Comments network does not allow for communication between devices.

Open Airport utility, select your airport and click installation manual.  Access to the Internet zone, then DHCP.  What are the two structures IP DHCP for your two airport networks (invited and regular).

For example, mine is 10.0.1.X for the ordinary and 17.16.42.X for my network of comments.

  • Printer cannot find the network (iPad)

HP3050A can't find my airport network. I'm trying to print from the IPad displays-there of printers available in configurations

OK, I did a bit of homework on this and spoke to the team of Mac here at HP.  The iPad can not implement it (and a few other HP wireless printers) to connect to your wireless network.  I'm sorry.

You'll have to borrow a computer to configure the printer.  Once configured, your iPad can use very well.

When you get the computer home, first, click the button on the front of the printer wireless and choose the default settings.  You will have a time of this point for the installed printer.  Download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

  • Printer cannot find the network

I just bought a new printer HP Photosmart 5514.  I tried to connect to my wireless router, but he can't find it. I checked to make sure that the router was conducted, it was broadcasting the SSID and I have was close enough to receive the signal. Everything was ok, but it has always failed. I still don't see it.  (On a side note, 2 laptops can see the router and another 1 laptop can't see the router). I think I might be missing just a setting somewhere but can't find it.  Help, please!

    I have a Linksys WRT320n.

    Wireless broadband: 5 GHz
    Network mode: mixed
    The network name (SSID): wire78
    Channel width: Auto (20 & 40 MHz)
    Channel: Auto
    SSID Broadcast: enabled

Security: WPA2 Personal with a password

    MAC filtering: disabled

I found the error.  I needed to have the band Wireless 2.4 GHz.  Fixed both the problem of connectivity to the printer and the laptop that did not see the network.

When the printer stops printing, instead of uninstalling/reinstalling, I recommend to run printing HP and doctor Scan. It's a quick and easy tool that diagnoses and solves many problems of printing, scanning and connectivity. Click on the link below for more details:

  • Cannot find the network-

Hello - my laptop has a Wi - Fi connection and net access.

For a long time, I was using the laptop with the wireless connection. My router assigned 192.168.1.237 to the Wi - Fi connection.  I was able to map the disk on the laptop and remote access.

A month ago I connecting the laptop to my home network via a wired connection to 192.168.1.172 - once again, I make me connections to and from the laptop.

Now, I disconnect the wired connection and now the laptop seems to have trouble finding the other computer on the network or if the laptop can be found

    computer too.

Don't know if it's an OS problem or a problem with my router and DNS - any suggestions on how to get the laptap back on the network with the

    WiFi would be appreciated.

NO, but a password is required to connect to the wireless network.

You must have a cryptographic, or otherwise you wouldn't need a password.  If there is no encryption configured in your router, where is the need for a password from a?

Determine the IP addresses of other devices on your network (for Windows computers, run an ipconfig command in a command prompt window).

They should all be a 192.168.1.xxx where xxx is greater than 1 and less than 254.  Are they?

Open a command prompt window and type

    Ping

    What is going on?

Given your description of what works and what does not work, I can only think of two possible explanations:

    • Some firewall 3 rd-party blocks wireless connection: what security software is installed, including your antivirus program, any firewall program, any program antimalware, etc.. ?
    • You are currently connected to the network wireless to a neighbor with the same SSID (network name).  It would be very likely if you, indeed enter a password to connect wireless

    Hi @MaryamCD

Welcome to the HP Support Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

I saw your post about wireless problems you are having with your Pavilion. Have you tried to connect to any of these other networks to make sure that your wireless network is able to connect and funtion correctly? In general, if you can see the other networks it could be something on the network at the origin of the problem. If you have not had the chance to unplug your wireless router and the model please do. Leave of them disconnected for 30 seconds, and then reconnect hide them in. Then see if you can see your network again.

What operating system do you use? What have listed it under network adapters in your device manager? What is the product number for your Pavilion?

  • New computer cannot find the printer driver

Just got a new computer and now I can't use the printer wireless.  Help

OK great. First thing, I suggest you do is:

    1. Go to start - Control Panel - programs & features
    2. Scroll through the list and locate any attempt installation of software/driver for your HP Photosmart D110
    3. If the list, uninstall and remove all components of the HP Photosmart D110 (be sure to select this particular device)
    4. Disconnect the USB connection or remove wireless attempt * (if any)
    5. Follow the prompts on the screen, including any necessary reboots
    6. Start the computer and to go to this site for the latest driver for your device-> http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-80511-1&cc=ie&dlc=en&lc=en&os=4062&product=4023246&sw_lang=
    7. Download and install, support to follow all the screen instructions - do NOT connect the USB or try a wireless connection until the installation program invites you to do
    8. Re-attempt to print from your computer once the installation of the driver is verified and complete.

    * just as a side note - a wireless connection from a PC to the HP Photosmart D110 is possible only if there is a present wireless card/adapter in the computer. It is more likely to be present in a laptop or a desktop computer. If this is the case, a USB connection is your only option for a desktop computer.

My HP Officejet Pro 8630 worked well w / my PC which runs on Windows 7 until last night when he stopped.  I restarted the PC and printer, uninstalled the printer software and reinstalled, disconnected power, changed USB ports etc etc.  Since then uninstall it the printer does not appear in the control panel at all.  The USB is not recognized.  More ' nplay does not!  I suspect an update of Windows or other software may interfere, but don't know how to identify and correct.  Help please!
