Computer crashes and sometimes won't start

I have a computer that is running Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit (I think) and there has been expriencing problems. (don't even tell me off the coast for the wrong spelling, I couldn't spell if my life depended on it!) It's a lot of old (about 2007 for about 4-5 years) and it was freezing. A lot! That is to say whenever I turn it on I can be lucky enough to mount on the desktop. If I I could say to open my computer and it will start loading but then it will stop and just freeze completely. After a while I could not tolertate to the constant freeze which was to make the computer unusable, so I did a restore factory (after several alternatives bandade) using a hard drive recovery partion. Who got the computer loading and working for some time, until he came up with the blue screen of death and crashed several times. Now, the computer is once more the drooling vegetable which is completely unusable. Yet once done a factory restore and the same problem occurred. I tried the soultion once again, but the same result. Now, I think that there could be only two issues. (there could be more and that's why I seek professional help online) I think there might be an internal problem with the hardware (which I know is beyond what an Ant can do) or their power be a problem with the very essential Windows files, including a factory restore may be powerless to fix. While I was looking for help which explains this issue. I have to do a clean reinstall of Windows? I thought that but computer did not come with a windows disc. I have a recovery disc I made with a (toshiba recovery disc creator) program but not the windows disc. (by the way my computer (one that is needs fixing) is a Toshiba Satellite L300 (if that helps))

So, what should I do?

Can someone help me please?

Which would be very appreciated.

Thank you.

DrewwyG.

Hello DrewwyG,

I would first run a full scan of your anti-virus and malware removal software.  Now if you have your installation DVD for Windows Vista you might try a startup repair.
