  I think you have a upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Pro version, in this case it will ask for the serial number of the previous version of qualification.

  Ah, I see where you are coming. It is a bit of "self-help" in Acrobat which I don't particularly like myself.

  Your 24-digit serial number will be written like this 1234-1234-1234-1234-1234-1234-1234

  That you're supposed to do, just start typing. The first 1234 fills the first box, and then "useful" to happen in the second box. You going to keep typing, and it will keep jumping after each four, until the 6 boxes each have four digits. Now, you click Next and the 24 numbers are checked.

After a series of repairs, I tried several times to find a way to reinstall Adobe products with only the external hard drive that I used for Time Machine backups. But I always failed. And now the external hard drive does not have too. So I think that I have only the serial number. Can I ever recover the Adobe products I bought with this laptop?
