Check your power options. It can be assigned to turn it off after 5 min. of idle.

Start button > Contol Panel > Classic view > Power Options > locate the plan that you use currently, click on change Plan settings > (the rest should be self-explanatory).

  • Why my internet accounts automatically get disconnected after that my computer turns off by itself?

I have a Compaq PC with processor Dual-Core AMD Athlon X 2 5000, and it runs Windows Vista Edition Home Premium... In my view, that is running Service Pack 2. I use the computer to check my e-mail, my YouTube and Facebook accounts (and possibly other accounts spread I connect to).

I usually use Internet Explore to browse the web. Sometimes my computer turns off by itself due to overheating. But whenever when this happens, when I turn my computer back on and return to the use of the Internet, I've totally frustrated to find that all my accounts were automatically disconnected!

Even when I check these boxes to keep me connected to these accounts when I turn on the computer again after a successful stop, my accounts still get disconnected!

It only seems to happen when my computer turns off by itself without stopping... mainly due to overheating. When I turn on the computer again after a successful regular stop, my accounts are automatically saved on once again, due to activate me "Keep me connected" by checking these little boxes. But after a situation when the computer is off all the time (either by himself for a reason, either by me with strength to turn it off when my computer crashes), my accounts do not remain.

How can I prevent my accounts automatically be disconnected so that whenever I start the computer, after it turns off by itself, my internet accounts turned on? There must be a patch for this embarrassing situation here on the internet.

Perhaps because an improper shutdown / forced can inpact on different parameters.

Your must not PC in all cases be having heat problems, you need to fix this (heat) before it turns into something terminal

After upgrade Office 2007 to Office 2010 on my Vista, then my computer turns off after being idle for a while. When I turn on my computer, I get the splash screen indicating that Windows has finished unexpectedly and I would like to start in safe mode or normally (pluss a couple more choice...).

Appears not to occur if there is activity going on--as if do me some work or have itunes playing music or I'm just surfing the internet. Curiously, it seems not to happen if I close Internet Explorer and Outlook.

I shot all automatic updates for Windows Vista (32 bit) and Microsoft Office.

    B Odd Andersen

    Hi B Odd Andersen,

I want to clarify if your computer seems to be sleeping or it completely closed after being idle for a while.

Method 1: If the computer is in power saving mode, check if you can wake the computer from this State by moving the mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard.

Method 2: Change the power to another and check to see if the problem persists
Change, create, or delete a power plan (scheme)

Method 3: check the logs in event viewer for more information on auto-off down

    Open event viewer

What are the information in event logs? (Event Viewer)

Note: For your safety and security, it is not recommended to disable Windows Update.
Activate the update or disable automatic

    Thanks and greetings

Vista: suddenly, the computer disconnects from the internet (or router) after have been asleep.  I have not changed the settings and reflected on the line for the problem and there are people with similar problems, but the answers (and a few sample photos) do not correspond to my screen.  Vista's automatic updates, so I think it has something to do with a recent update.  I had to restart my computer to access the internet.  Right now, I've changed my settings "Never" Go to sleep.  All solutions?

  • Satellite L510 - WLAN disconnects after having ejected the disk USB

    Hey.

I got my computer Toshiba laptop a few months and have been having this problem early. Initially, it was not the case very often and so it wasn't if big a deal, but now it's getting boring because of the frequency.

    What's happening:
After I eject any USB connection (the most frequent with my external HARD drive and other kinds of USB keys), my wireless network connection disconnects.

I always try to go to the tab 'network and sharing Center' and 'disable' and 'activate' the connection, but it rarely works. Most of the time, the pop-up that says something like "allowing wireless connection" doesn't go away. It sort of 'crashes', but not exactly either, as I am still able to use other parts of the laptop. I tried many things, but the ONLY fix I found is to restart the computer.

HOWEVER, it is not a normal reboot. It takes about 7-10 minutes to restart. There is this blue screen of ms back (is that what it's called?) immediately after it restarts, but it is only there for like 3 seconds and then he asks me if I want to start windows in normal mode or safe mode.

I would really appreciate if someone could provide any kind of fix for this.

    My laptop:
    -Satellite L510
    -Windows 7 64-bit OS
    -pentium (R) dual-core CPU T4500 2.30 GHz
    -2 GB of ram

    Hi captainmarvel,

Just a simple question: have you tried to update the driver WLAN?
New driver WLAN, you can find on the official website of Toshiba in order to check this!

Well, I never really heard this about WIFI disconnects after the ejection of a USB drive. That's really curious.
You write that you are running Windows 7 64 bit but it is preinstalled Windows 7 in Toshiba or not?

  • Y70 70 Lenovo touch guard disconnecting after 5 seconds

Can someone help me? I have this problem where my laptop lenovo keeps disconnecting after a few seconds. This happens about 3-5 times up to the stop, then I can reuse my laptop.

As soon as the computer goes to the log in page, I type my password in and then after a few seconds, the screen becomes white a bit and it goes back to the log in page where I need to connect again. I don't know why this happens and there is a program that appears with a white border called followed RT_Driver of face. The program does not display anything and is to see through with a white border and my laptop then goes to the page, sign in again.

I am running windows 8.1 and I've updated the windows software when it said install updates, but this problem still occurs.

Please can someone help me. I find this very annoying problem and I've had this laptop for about 1 month. I also have Mcaffee installed on this laptop, so I doubt that it is a virus.

    Hello

you have the same problem here. Solved by rebooting the machine in safe mode (hold down the SHIFT key while clicking on restart, and then select problems, options, advanced startup options). After the reboot, log into windows. Once connected, start the Task Manager, Startup tab select, right click on the RTFTrack and select Disable. After that, restart normally, and you should be fine.

My guess is, that Win update had realtek face recognition application in trouble.

It could be useful, good luck.

  • Windows Vista Basic has been freezing after sitting idle in normal mode and safe mode.

Windows Vista Basic and was freezing after sitting idle in normal mode and safe mode. A few months ago, we had this problem and I replaced the hard drive. It was fine for a bit, but is distributed upward. The time that it will sit idle are shortened. I did a scan for malware and removed everything that was out there, obviously this isn't the hard drive and it is used for the most part just internet and e-mail, no new programs have been loaded since the new hard drive.
