  There may be a program to interfere with Parental controls so that we can try a few things to see if we can determine the application or program that is causing problems.

  First of all, we run System File Checker to see if you have a corrupt file system.

  • Click Start
  • Click on all programs
  • Click Accessories, and then right-click on the command prompt.
  • Select the Security tab and choose "Run as Administrator"
  • Click on command prompt
  • Type SFC/scannow.

  It will scan and repair any damaged operating system files.

  To determine if there is a program because of a conflict, we recommend that you perform a "clean boot" of the computer. A clean boot is designed to disable programs and services in the background as much as possible.   For about a week, my computer no longer displays my Sansa Clip when I plug upward with the USB cable. I can still hear the computer, the connection of detection, but it does not show in Windows Explorer, as before. I checked the setting on the clip and it sees - USB - Auto detection. If I change this meteorological service of the Canada, Windows Explorer displays the clip and folders, but the folders are empty. However, the files are still on the clip and play.   I feel when you go into Device Manager there is a yellow question mark. If you expand this section you may find an unknown device. This will be your network card. So basically, you need to know what brand and model of the network adapter is. Download the driver from the internet on another computer. Then install it on this one. The unknown device will then pass under the network connection in Device Manager.

  So basically, you will need to download your ethernet card driver.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

  The combo DVD/CD on my laptop drive isn't in Device Manager or Windows Explorer.  The door is not ejected.  You must use a paperclip, poking into the hole to open it.  I also re - it sitting, but it changed nothing.  We had this laptop for 1.5 years and the disk worked great until yesterday when trying to install Starcraft II.  Installation failed and it has messed up also the DVD/CD drive.

  We read some other difficulty advice and tried the upper and lower filters in the registry, but there was no entires of upper and lower filters in the key.

  Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
  Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
  do it right.

  Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
  the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

  Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
  the correct registry entries for your car.

  Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
  as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
  the parameters.

  We have a "shoe box" Advantech (System specs are listed below) and try to install a digital I/o card of National Instruments PCI-6509. Once we install the digital IO card, the computer will not start. The computer does not even a MESSAGE.   We hung a spare ATX power supply to backplane of the computer, the computer booted right up and the PCI-6509 worked perfectly. I contacted the manufacturer of the computer and am waiting for prices on ATX supplies getting in our computers instead of the TA.

  Today, I decided to disable unnecessary programs as many as I could (to speed up my pc), so I went to Msconfig (I have vista home premium 32-bit) and a lot of things off. Including the "toshiba button support. The next time I restarted my additional buttons on the top of the keyboard all worked, next to one. Who normally turn on windows media player. This time, he did nothing at all. Game/resume, stop, forward, back and button internet all worked without problem.
  However, I really liked the WMP button, so I tried to find out what the problem was. I discovered that it was the support of the key, so I decided to reactivate it.

  I made a shortcut for the program to run (can be found in C:programfiles/toshiba/SCT and is called HSON.exe). Then I clicked start and said 'all programs', here I chose the "opstarten" folder, it comes to the Dutch version, but my guess is it's called something like 'start-up' in English. In this regard, I glued (copy / cut-> paste) the shortcut to the program, and now he begins again :)

  I agree with Akuma. You should try to reinstall the Toshiba value added Package. This determines media keys FN and all special functions on the laptop buttons.
