Hello

However the help, please start a new thread in the Windows Forum of correct answers

Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.

To be able to remove ALL and reinstall all the memory cards and cables (both ends where possible)-in fact
delete and replace - do not just tight. Remove the dust bunnies and clean the vents. Make sure that the
the fans run (before and after opening the case). If a laptop on what you can do is reinstall
memory and clean the ventilation openings (still may try to add a small fan as a test).

This sounds like material so if the above does not help you then probably need the help of a real
computer store (not the leeks and the glances at a Best Buy or other stores) or system manufacturer
Supported.

Use methods such as the SFC, CheckDisk, driver updates, and others in the resolution of the issues identified
at this link as they will help solve or at least narrow down the questions. After that you can post the
information of BlueScreenView and these other utilities, so we can offer more specific advice. Of
check with a real store of the computer or the system manufacturer's support would be a good idea though
I would try the possible solutions, you can first.

    Hey!

My girlfriend has an Equium A100-1V0 Windows 7 (first of all, he ran on Vista then one day on XP and then came a clean install of Windows 7) that freezes lately a lot.

At first we thought it was some software, we tried disabeling everything start but it work dind; then we have disabled all microsoft services and startup items and it froze for hours (that's a lot) but we didn't not sound nothing that was not gel :) network

Then my friend noticed that the laptop freezed only when it is plugged in and when running only on battery it does not freeze (the last battery just half an hour). Which until today when it started to turn off everything, then it turned off even when running only on battery power. I discovered that my girlfriend's sister used the laptop plugged but without the battery.

Could that do the damage, and the problem would be the charger or the battery? the laptop Ow will stop in less than 10-15 min. sorry if my English is bad.
    Hope that respond you soon

    Hello

It's really hard to say why it's still freezing but as Akuma maybe it's written s overheating and you must clean using a jet of compressed air. This can blow the dust from the cooling fans.

In addition, you wrote that it freezes only when the AC/DC adapter is connected. Is this original Toshiba AC/DC adapter or not?

    Hi Freeway2,

    1. when the computer freezes? You receive an error message?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

Check if the problem persists in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Restart the computer to return to normal mode

If the problem does not persist in safe mode then I suggest that you try to verify and boot if it works.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I've read your threads on your HP Pavilion Notebook g7 and overheating and stop. Here is a link to overheatingas it may be the cause of the closure. If the laptop has dust on the fans, it could be overheating. Hope someone out there can help you.
I was not able to use my A60-181 for awhile without being constantly plugged to electricity.
And it seems to warm up and turns off.

I bought a new battery, but I still get the same problem... and it is only 2 years old!
Someone has an idea of what I need to do?

In my view, this case is clear. It s a simple overheating. Usually the laptop stops automatically to prevent laptop damage material. Usually, this occurs if the laptop fans twist with speed and maximum performance.

The reason for this behavior could be a dust and debris inside the laptop. Especially after 2 years of work and aspiration, the dust has a bad influence on the rotation of the fan.

The module of cooling for computer laptop cleaning could help!
But if you have no experience of it please contact the technician. It is recommended to clean the fans professionally.

  • Equium A60: After BIOS update device will beep several times and turns off

    Hello

I downloaded the windows BIOS update for my Equium A60 (dated 11/15/05) and ran the executable by following the instructions, after ensuring that the current AC has been connected, etc.. The update has got a little more to halfway when the computer turns off suddenly.

Now when I try to turn back on it just a few beeps and turns off again. It seems to me that the BIOS is screwed. Is there anything I can do to get my machine to run?

    Thank you

    Hi Phil,

Unfortunately, it seems that if the BIOS of your laptop is corrupted. Unfortunately, he didn't there has no easy way for you to correct yourself and you will need to take the phone to your nearest Toshiba Service agent who has the necessary specialized equipment to reflash your CMOS with a new BIOS chip.

After the update to el Capitan my iMac will not be asleep. I put it to sleep and turn off the mouse and keyboard that goes with it, and 5-10 minutes later, he wakes up on his own. Now, I have to stop it after use and each time only. The Major pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please test after taking each of the steps that you have already tried:
