  • Windows Explorer hangs for a long time after the installation of the latest updates from Microsoft

    Hello!

Yesterday, I downloaded and installed the latest Windows updates on the Web from Microsoft by using Windows Update.

After that, I see a strange thing from time to time.

Sometimes when I open Windows Explorer or on a list of logical drives reader app, the hangs of the application for 10-15 minutes (not answer).

While it hangs, other applications can function normally if they don't read the list of drives, for example, I can use Internet Explorer at the same time.

The appearance of the problem is unpredictable, it can happen after 10 to 20 minutes of work after the reboot, or even after 1-2 hours of labor.

My OS is Vista Home Premium x 64, laptop Pavilion dv7 - 1157 cl.

At the moment I don't have any antivirus software or third party drivers (I configured factory drivers only).

Event log Windows contains no error messages, all devices are displayed in device in the form of work normally without errors management.

I ran the test of memory with the memory diagnostic tool, it found no errors.

Here is the list of the installed Windows updates.

Do you have any suggestions? There may be a problem already known with some updates?

I rebooted, a big part of it, don't think not not just for her crashing again a minute after I opened it. I can send and receive messages very well. I have redownloaded Skype (not clean uninstall reinstall, because I would lose no more discussions and contacts) and have it run as administrator. None of these work. Someone at - he no clue as to why this started all of a sudden?

EDIT: I've just updated it of to say to the latest version and rebooted my computer. The problem persists.

EDIT: I thought that there COULD be some kind of virus. Downloads more recently plague, so I thought that a virus could be causing both. Malwarebytes came back negative, and while that is not, of course, 100%, I will assume that it is not a virus.

  • Having to reset wireless network card all a few minutes after the release of Windows 7

I have an Acer Aspire and have successfully used to connect to the Internet for a few months.  After the automatic updates of Windows 7 on 14/07/2011, I have to reset the wireless network adapter every few minutes.  My computer is essentially useless for the internet connection.

There is no problem with the wireless router as I can connect to the Internet successfully for long periods of time with my HP computer.  I've used both computers simultaneously over the network without any problems.

When Internet Explorer "blockages" and I opened the network and sharing Center, it says that my computer is connected to my home network but there is "No Internet access."

In the system tray, if I right click on the wireless network icon and select problems, he comes back with:

    • Reset your wireless network adapter
    • The connection between your modem cable, router or point of access and the Internet
    • Problem with access point or wireless adapter

    So far, I have

    • uninstall the Windows updates and rebooted my computer
    • Adapter wireless uninstalled & reinstalled my
    • made sure the drivers for the wireless network are up-to-date.
    • made sure the Internet Protocol Version 4 and 6 are configured to obtain the IP address and the address of DNS server automatically
    • back to zero/renew the IP address manually
    • with Windows Firewall disabled (unable to connect then I have reactivated firewall island

Apart from restoring a backup, I'm ideas.  Help!

I ended up having to do a hard reset on my router.  It seems to have cleared up the problem.

I recently upgraded my system from Windows XP SP2 to SP3 and installed onenote 2010 professional office 2010 but still not active. I found if I maintain my system, and cannot be used as alarm clock, sound and wireless.

When I click the speaker button, I can hear the sound of 'Bang', which implies a mistake, and a pop-up box displays saying that «...» No audio mixer table cannot be found... ». I can't play music or watch the video.

When I find out wireless available in the range, he said: "another program manages wireless" these words. But I have installed no utility to manage my wireless.

There could be another problem. So far, I find just above two.

After the system restarts, everything is recovered, until next time, I stand by my system.

    Hi Edwin.Xi,

Given that you have upgraded your system from Windows XP SP2 to SP3, you may need to consult the manufacturer's Web site and download and install the latest version for Wi - Fi and sound drivers and check if that helps:

  • Whenever I close firefox, my computer hangs for a few minutes and I can't use it

Since the upgrade to Firefox 10 and later upgrade, when I connect on firefox, my desk is totally insensitive and then after a few minutes working normally again. I use Vista and has not had the problem with earlier versions.

  • Problem: My computer hangs and does not restart after the installation of MS Update KB2479628.

Tuesday February 11 I turned my hp Compaq nx7300 off I saw that she was installing updates I thought that nothing of what I had set to automatic updates. On Wedndesday that I have tried to re - turn on my laptop it installed updates. I got a black screen with white writing. The laptop then ran restoration of boot, but he was not able to repair itself and turns off. I tried to turn it back on a few times that I was in total disbelief that a MS Update would do this to my computer, it still does not.

I tried to start the computer in safe mode, but it does not work.

I tried to do a system restore but evertime I tried it there was an error, I tried all eight restore points but all back "an unspecified error occurred during system 0x800700b7 restore.

"In restoration of start I clicked on ' view diagnostic and repair details" it said all tests have been performed with success, but at the bottom it says ' root cause found - boot critical file D:\Windows\system32\ntkrnlpa.exe is corrupt.

I had to reinstall windows 7 pro three times so far and have now developed to the point that it is KB2479628 update of MS that is causing the problem. I the have not installed this time and have had updates to the manual

What can I do about this problem, I spent at least 20 hours on this problem now, and looking for the many other forum of people seem to have similar problems. I'm worried that KB2479628 will settle by accident when I want to install some other updates?

My computer laptop originally had Vista Business top but has been upgraded to Windows 7 32 bit, clean install, I use Microsoft Security Essentials, I've never had installed norton or macafee.

Thank you very much for all your time and your help is greatly appreciated, I'm sure I'll be at the time when SP1 is available.

    Until then your your :-)

  • BPEL process hangs for hours and hours after the service call web sync

I would like the web service call time out if it crashes it

or a process that calls a Local or a remote WebService, it is necessary to set a time limit of 10 seconds that the BPEL will wait for the response. If no response is received within the time-out period specified, then a series of activities is performed (for example. WebService not available, end of the BPEL process, etc.).

At the top of screen, "WS_Call" is the call to the WebService.

    2. in the sequence where to call 'WS_Call' activity, add a branch of wrestling:

and set its properties to catch a RemoteFault.
It is necessary to take a RemoteFault because this is the type of fault that throws the "timeout" which will be defined in the next step when the time-out expires.

    3. switch to the Source Jdeveloper tab and look at the code that has been added to the Bpel project as instructed by top 'Step 2 '. The added lines should look like the piece of code below:

In the branch of wrestling, the error can be treated: complete the process, insert a response/answer to return from the Bpel, an Assign activity and continue the Bpel, etc..

4 set the "timeout" for the PartnerLink to 10 seconds.
"Timeout" specifies the number of seconds to wait before expiry. A distance error is thrown if this happens.

If the Web service is located on the SAME host as the BPEL, it is also necessary to set the property "optSoapShortcut" to FALSE.
The parameter "optSoapShortcut" is by default = TRUE. It should be set to FALSE to force local SOAP to go through SOAP instead of internal calls request.

Note: Step 4 can also be directly configured in bpel.xml in the partnerLinkBinding section:

    5
    fake

    5. recompile and redeploy the BPEL process.

Download the Internet OmniDiskSweeper and Grand Perspective (both free) and open them. They will show all your files and respective sizes. Transfer to an external HARD disk or remove files, that you no longer want on your MBP.

Don't forget to empty the trash. Then only the space is allocated for the new data.
