There is a Virus/malware that goes around that results in what you describe. Download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner

Note: the download must be used within 10 days or you will need to download again the Safety Scanner.

I am writing this issue on my XP computer. This program is claiming that my Vista machine has 38 virus, keyloggers, trogans and everything. I have no way to know if it is accurate. I hate having my computer held hostage as this program is done. Now, this program crashes my computer after a few minutes. Before that I have to pay these people money I turn the computer into a Linux machine. However, I prefer to return to Windows. If I start the machine without this program race then I think that I can restore with Acronis backup program I have on my external hard drive. I see a lot of Internet boot floppies but I don't know which ones to trust. I do not think that the store where I bought this computer included a drive system in the box, so I have no system disk and unfortunetly, this is the only computer I have without a startup disk, major control.
Thank you

and if it is defective or failed in some way, then this may be a sign that your whole system could be damaged or unstable.
what you can try is execution of the system via safe mode restore.
If this does not work yet, so the next step is to move your personal files, documents, photos and send boxes out of the system because the following methods that will help restore your system can put your personal files safe.

I just got an error message at startup, which reads: execution of data path: to protect your computer, Windows has closed this program: name: request for logon Userinit, Publisher: Microsoft. My pc is under Windows XP SP2. I think that different multiple verisons of software "virus protection" began to appear in the Explorer. I know that they do not belong on my computer. I tried to close them, but they just kept moving forward. I'm trying to find some help to solve the problem. Moreover, when I close the window of Data Execution Prevention error message, I have my bottom, no other other icons for one of my programs are on the screen. Help... This can be corrected?
Thanks in advance.
Carter2009,
If you started having 'Magical' Antivirus programs to appear on your system that you do not install, then you are infected. Some people may be painful to remove, to others not so much. I recommend http://www.malwarebytes.org/ for malware protection and http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/ for antivirus. But now you're in a bit of a place. I download Malware Bytes and put it on a USB key. Then see if you can boot in safe mode and run MalwareBytes. If you're not in safe mode, take a look at this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318027
Hope these helps. QQ learn manage!

What I would do, my computer has so many unwanted programs, is to reinstall Vista and not all HP programs that I don't want. It seems to make the computer too slow. I don't have a Vista disc, only the recovery CD I did in the beginning. Can I recover and just reinstall Vista, or should I get back it?
Thank you
Billoriginal title: recoveryIf your "Vista recovery disc" is provided by the manufacturer of your computer, be it Dell, Gateway, Hewlett-Packard, etc... Then chances are he's doing a thing. Completely format your hard drive and restores your computer to the day you brought it home. It's a major nuisance for many people these days, as if you have an error and Windows says 'Please insert the Vista CD to fix it Windows' well, you do not HAVE the CD to correct the error. Your only option is a complete erasure of all data.
So, my advice is to avoid ever NEED to use the recovery CD, and if you don't... hope you have backups of your important data (which is another thing, backup your important data often!).

My computer will not open certain programs, and the system does not.
I have really no idea what's wrong with my computer, so I'll just list the symptoms.
The first and foremost problem is that my computer won't open some programs. First thing I noticed when I tried to open iTunes and it did not open, no matter how many times I tried. I went to restart my computer, and that opens up a host of new questions.
My antivirus - Windows Live OneCare - software does not open. I tried to turn on Windows Defender for malware, but it crashes when I try to do. Not only does iTunes opens, but neither a few other programs I have on my computer--mainly those who could help me to solve this problem, such as the restoration of the system. When I try to uninstall a program - all - nothing happens and he refuses to let me try to uninstall anything else, insisting something is already uninstall. And my computer can't detect my printer.
Which leads to my other problem: I have two computers connected to a network via an Ethernet cable. The other computer is fine and can access the Internet fine, but when he sends something to the printer, nothing happens on the end of the printer. It is a red 'X' the symbol of my network on my computer in the lower right corner (next to), so I guess this confirms my concerns about the network. I don't understand what exactly is the problem, just that the other computer cannot print (it is not connected directly to the printer, mine is).
Because Windows Live OneCare and Windows Defender does not work, I can not scan to see if it is the result of spyware or malware. And because whenever I click on the system restore, nothing happens, I can't restore the computers to something else. I'm completely stuck. More critical functions simply do not work.
If you have Vista then the Windows 7 upgrade that will take and install without problems, but the editions between operating systems need to be adapted, Home Premium, Home Premium edition, or higher, you cannot switch to a lower version.
Upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows7/help/upgrading-from-Windows-Vista-to-Windows-7You never provided the installation diskettes, it's unusual for OEM nit of a recovery hard disk Partition. Check any manual provided, or go to the manufacturer's Web site and see that your machine is delivered with.

The program cannot start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
I get following error when I try to open the computer management in windows 7, the error is as follows.
The program cannot start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
Where can I find this dll file and help me to download and install.
I'd install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable dll, which is necessary for the projects generated with Visual Studio 2010.
Download the files below according to your operating system version. I would setup versions because they may be needed for different programs. Check in programs and features, you show that you have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable? Hello
When I run my application, which is integrated in the VS2010 x 64 mode debugging mode, I get the following error:
"The program can't start because MSVCR110D.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Hello
I installed a program in Windows 7 and I can't start it because it appears: "the program can't start because MSVCR110.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. I looked for answers and I found that I can install this http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679# (Visual C++ Redistributable Packages). In this connection, there are 3 files to download: VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe, VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe and VSU4\vcredist_arm.exe. My question is which file should I download or if I have to download each of them. How can I know which one I need to upload?
Can someone help me please?
Thank you
Sebastian.
VCRedist_x64 is for 64-bit systems.
Vcredist_x86 is for 32-bit systems.
If you are running Windows 7 32 bit, just install the x 86 version. If you have Windows 7 64-bit, you may need to install the x 64 and x 86 version. First try the x 64. I f it does not work, install the x 86 version as well.
vcredist_arm.exe is for devices using ARM processors which are compressed as the Microsoft Surface.
