Computer is very slow and crashes off is not Windows 7 correctly.
Yesterday, my computer froze to the point of pull me the plug on my laptop. After him have enabled again, I noticed that my computer became very slow. I tried to browse the web with Google Chrome and it takes forever just to get a loaded page. The Shockwave Flash plug accident frequently and whenever I try to browse a web page that uses Java, it hangs for a few minutes and continues to load slowly.
Chrome is not the only program that runs slowly. All other programs seems to freeze/being slow. I have the MSI CX640 with: 4 GB of ram, Nvidia Geforce 520 M 1 GB, Intel Core i3 - 2310 M 2.1 GHz, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I had a look at the event logs and found a few warnings and errors:
The driver failed to load the ACPI\ACPI0008\2 device \Driver\WUDFRd & daba3ff & 2.

Hello Jleester,
The warning of error IO error can be caused by a defective hardware:
Windows Windows (5352): an application to write to the file "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\Windows.edb" at offset 70025216 (0x00000000042c8000) to 32768 bytes (0 x 00008000) succeeded, but took an abnormally long time (91 seconds) is served by the operating system. In addition, 18 other requests to this file I/o also took an abnormally long time to be repaired since the last post regarding this issue has been sent 30 seconds ago. This problem is probably due to a defective hardware
I would check with the manufacturer of your computer to see if there is diagnostic tests that can be run on your hardware.
I also see that Steam.exe is not release handles to your user profile, then I would say you uninstall Steam and reinstall. Event id 1530 is just stating they were unloading the application, steam.exe. This type of errors can cause your user profile is damaged.
Let us know if that helps.

my computer is very slow and really not that old now it tells me that I'm missing borlndmm.dat program and need to reinstall and I don't know how
Original title: borlndmm.dat
Hello, Cyrille,.
This could be caused due to viruses or malware on the computer.
Follow the following troubleshooting methods:
Method 1:
Download Microsoft Safety Scanner, scan your computer for viruses and malware and then check its operation.
You can download Microsoft Safety Scanner from the link "scan to Microsoft Security.
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. All data that are infected must be cleaned only by deleting all of the data, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
Method 2:
Run System File Check to fix the corrupted system files and then check how it works.
See the link "How to use the file system tool Checker to troubleshoot system missing or damaged files on Windows Vista or Windows 7" to run the System File Check.
Note: It can ask the Windows DVD difficulty and allowing SFC to do more than minor repairs. Could some of the files saved on your computer are deleted when fixing corrupted files.
I hope this helps you solve the problem. If the problem persists or if you have other problems with Windows, please post in the Microsoft Community. We would be happy to help you.

System Restore to go back before the show.
I suggest you to install the updates one by one and reboot the computer after installing each update to verify that update is causing the problem.
Also note the updates that you install on the computer.
Once you come to know what update is causing the problem, let us know.
Do not install any driver updates offered by Windows Update. Find them in the manufacturer's website instead.

Computer is very slow and IE does not work all the time.
I bought a computer from my old employeer. He is doing all sorts of things, or should I say not to do all sorts of things. It is very slow and IE does not work all the time. They have questions arise and ask if the administrator oks things and other things like that. It came with any disks. I would like to wipe, clean and load a new disc, but I don't know where to find the disc or if I can do it. Can someone please?
Hello
Proceed as follows to contribute to these two questions. You can probably buy the disks of Vista machine to system or get
the former employer to do it for you if necessary.Try these and it can also be a good idea to update your main drivers later. The General corruption can also play a
role in this issue. And even the TCP/IP stack might need to be refreshed. What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this
machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems). If no joy there's something blocking perhaps.
