computer laptop dv5t: very low sound, solution?

You just bought dv5t: very low volume, especially when recording on audio or video screen. Also, when I record on the screen, I hear picked up in the room, (talk, etc.) mixed. Can someone tell me what the correct sound settings should be for video screen and audio recording? I use debut video capture software and I use "mp3mymp3" for audio capture. Checked their manual, but cannot find a solution. I also use Skype to call and have no sound problem it. Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit. Thanks, Anne

Hi Anne,.

One thing that can help is the following.  Do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "playback devices".  Left click the device once to highlight default (it is usually 'speakers & headphones') and then click the properties button.  Click the enhancements tab and put a check mark in the box "Loudness equalization.  Click on apply to save the changes and then click OK in all other windows and see if allowed at all.

Kind regards

  • Satellite L20-101 - very low sound

    Hello

I have a Toshiba laptop Satellite L20-101, Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Yesterday, the sound of my laptop started to play very very low.

Drivers audio (conexant AC-link audio) seems to work fine, and I'm all set to maximum volume.
It was sudden. One moment he was working well, and the next time I start it the sound was strangely low.

I don't know if it's a hardware problem, or if she could we have resolved to restore the entire system with the recovery CD (I prefer not to do so).

    Any ideas? Any help?

    Thank you

    Hello

I think you should check the sound volume using the headphones.
If the headphones work correctly the problem might be related to internal speakers.

But to be honest it is really not easy to say what causes this problem as I said can be faulty speaker but you should also check all possible settings and perhaps a new OS reinstall would also be a good idea.

It would be useful to know if the sound issue would persist using the laptop with clean, factory setting.

  • Computer laptop G350 has no sound from speakers

Well, he came to me to have post a thread after searching the Internet for a few days.

    Computer laptop Lenovo, Vista installed.

Sound worked perfectly that what it suddenly stopped.

I plugged in the headset and headphones. None worked.

This change seems to have occurred after the software installation, Windows Update probably.

I tried most of the things people have suggested.

The only temporary fix is a restoration of the system for a few days before when I still had sound. It worked a little, and then he returned to no sound.

This is not a hardware issue, I can tell you that much.

At the same time as this, my Itunes has the problem where it will play all the songs and diamond indicator will not move.

They are connected by a kind of fu * audio upward.

So... does anyone have solutions that they could share? System Restore fixed the two questions for me, but it does not last.

    See you soon

Uninstall the audio drivers. Download the latest drivers available (in this case, from the manufacturer's Web site) and install.

  • Camileo s20 very low sound recording

    Hello people

Yesterday I bought a Toshiba Camileo s20, and I face the following 'problem '.

When someone speaks in a standing position two or three feet from the camera, his voice is too low.

They must be medium close to the entire camera/microphone (or be talking/shouting very loud) for their voices to be recorded to loud and clear.

This is how work the Camileo cameras, or is it possible that I had a defective? Any way I could solve the problem?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

I have a Camielo: 30 and my camcorder does not support a special microphone settings.
You can increase or decrease the sound but I do not know if this option would amend the volume mic too m.
You can test it, but if this will not help increase the microphone volume so I guess there is no other option that could change that.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.
