Computer laptop screen upside down!

Help!

I have a laptop that is running Windows 7. When I turn on my laptop, the screen is upside down. I tried to do ctrl + alt + arrow key upwards and the other arrow keys, but it doesn´t work, it seems to be stuck.

Can someone please tell me how I can resolve this issue!

Very frustrating!

It works for Vista:

Right click on the empty desk > graphics > Rotation.

If your computer is bad, you need to do a system restore. Since it seems that you can not stop, try to hold the power button until it turns off. If this does not work, unplug (if laptop, remove the battery).

From there on, allows to do a restore:

    1. turn the computer on and start to tap F8 to get the start menu
    2. Select repair your computer
    3. Select System Restore
    4. Follow the prompts

If the restore point is older, feel free to use the Scan for affected programs feature to make sure that no other programs are affected. Otherwise, I would make a note of it, as it will have to reinstall these programs. In addition, I was running updated Windows once your system working again, since you will most likely use a restore point set up just before an update. (no point in re-opening of a security breach)

  • Pavilion g6-2320TX: computer laptop screen blank after login

    Hi all

I have a HP pavilion 2320TX g6 and it runs on windows 8.1(64 bit) with no problems until recently.

It was originally windows 8 and I've updated to WIN8.1 back.i 6 months have not experienced any problems.

I don't know what happened but when I opened my laptop after the login screen, he gave me a black screen with the mouse cursor.

I tried closing force to remove the battery and the connection but no use.

The last time I opened (i.e. before I met this problem), I installed 2 applications KMPlayer and secure360.

I uninstalled them both by the secure and tried boot option, but it didn't work.

I can't even find the reason why this problem so please help me out by giving solutions for this.

    Hello

Try this and let me know.

Boot the computer normally and log.

Black screen, hold down the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

    Select Task Manager.

At the bottom left, select details (if it is not already selected).

Click in the header of column Nsoul to organize the processes in alphabetical order.

Look for an entry called to run once Wrapper (RunOnce.exe) - If you see it listed, right-click on it and select end task.

    The office is now show?

If this is the case, download Autoruns on the following link and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://download.sysinternals.com/files/Autoruns.zip

When you have that, open your download folder, right-click on the folder zipped to Autoruns, select "extract all...". "and in the next window, click Extract.

A new window will open displaying the extracted content.  The application you must launch is the 2nd in the list (in format autoruns 636ko) but this by right clicking on it and selecting 'Run as administrator' -click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

Scroll down the list until you find the entrance to RunOnce (it may well be 2 entries) and Remove the tick (s) in the box next to it.

Restart computer and see if it boots now on the desktop.

  • Satellite L510 - computer laptop screen freeze on Win7

    Hello

I have a Satellite L510 computer laptop that I use at home, especially for browsing the net through LAN wireless.
I bought it last February lately, he showed problems with its display. When I boot on Win7 (that is, moreover, the only OS installed), after about 5-7 minutes of operation, the brightness of the screen increases significantly and the screen just hangs.

Then, within 20-30 seconds, it restarts on its own and everything comes back to the normal operating status. The behavior has been intermittent and random so far. I can't find a reason why this is happening. Pls help!

    Kind regards
    av_mohan

You see an error message when this happens, or even after reboot?
Since when you noticed this behavior?
Have you noticed intensively HARD drive activity before that happens?
Is the option value for update windows automatically?

Try to roll beck OS to an earlier time using System Restore tool.

Need help screen problem.  Have a black spot, down from the top of the screen a green line.  Have a black spot at the bottom of the screen.  A photo is attached.

Can I fix it?  How can I solve this problem?

    Hi @JBBenson,

Welcome to the HP Forums! I read your post and wanted to help.

I understand that you have a black spot, down from the top of the screen a green line. You can connect an external monitor to your laptop. If the external monitor is displayed well, it may be the laptop screen broken. You can contact the store local repair, or HP support by phone for repair.

  • Computer laptop screen flashes

Hello. My laptop screen started blinking last night and it jumps between desktop screens and start. Also, the icons on the taskbar disappear and reappear when it flashes. I see that others have had this problem on another thread, but it does not resemble a solution posted after the first response.

So far I used F8 to access Advanced Boot Options to run a system restore. I did the last update of HP using as reference. The restore went very well, but does not solve the problem. I tried to go back to the previous update and run another restore, but then I got the message that the restoration has failed, and my c drive could be damaged. I can't run a check on this record that the laptop doesn't let me log on as an administrator on the application of the control panel when I right click on it.

II have worked on this problem for the last 2 hours and don't know what to try next and would like some ideas. I'm not very techno then simple instructions work best. Thank you.

I saw your post about your laptop flashes between the desktop and the start menu. I'll be happy to help you. I did some research into your solution and found very little information but I found some promising information. Let's look at disabling the Windows Error Reporting Service. To do that you need to access the Services that third link will show you how to get to Services and how to disable a service. In the list you will be looking for Windows Error Reporting Service and disable it. Give that a try and let me know how it goes.

  • Satellite M40: HARD drive not working after laptop computer trasported turned upside down

My Satellite M40 is facing a strange problem: whenever I have transport (for example, in the trunk of my car) backwards instead of in his natural position or vertically, after the transport, the HD does not work for a few hours. The BIOS does not see the HD because it is not present at all. After a few hours of rest, without moving, if you try to turn on the PC again, the HD magically comes to work again backwards.

My HD is made with soda water? :)

Talk seriously... What do you think it is?

    Hi franz

Not easy to say what it is, or why it happens. Maybe it? s a bad connection of the HARD disk.
I guess that this happens because of the agitation in the car.
Well, I don? don't know if it helps but you can try to check the connection of the HARD disk.
The second possibility to use another HARD disk. It might be because there is something wrong with the HARD drive.

  • HP15-D005TU: computer laptop screen changed from pink color gradient

    Hello
    I use a laptop HP 15-D005TU,
Today morning when I played the game the screen become suddenly rose on it that appeared in the pink shade, also the battery drains very fast (about 1% within 1-2 minutes) he restarted normal shortly, got a few minutes, after which he win rose disappeared.
    Help, please.

    Hi @Sameer_09,

Welcome to the HP Forums! I read your post and wanted to help.

I understand that the screen becomes pink during use. You can try to connect an external monitor to the laptop, wait to see if it turns pink. If it's not pink, it could be a bad cable in the laptop needs to be replaced. If the external monitor becomes too pink, it could be that the video card is bad. You can also try to update the graphics driver and chipset before testing the material.

Here is the link for all the drivers: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-d000-Notebook-PC-series/6529963/model/6622214
