Computer laptop touch screen works on Windows 8

Since last week, I found that the touch screen on my laptop Lenovo Flex 2 stop and start working at random and by reading online forums on how to solve this problem, I realized that the USB input device that is normally found in the Human Interface of my device manager devices would disappear when the touch screen no longer works and will reappear when the touch screen works when I restart my computer. Someone at - it a good solution for how I can solve this problem?

Most often when a device does not work, it is because the driver is damaged. Re-install a new copy should help

What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media.  It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

The link is on the software page and download drivers for your PC: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-Notebook-PC-series/7137590/model/7484025

Once there, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click on the symbol '+' to expand this entty and click on order to press for more details.

Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Note that if HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you can check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

Don't forget to read through the material in the linked thread before attempting the recovery: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00707939

  • the touch screen works on windows 8 portable touchsmart

I just got a new HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14 Sleekbook and the touch screen no longer works on it. How can I make it work again?

Have you contacted HP?  I ask because first of all it is a HP device.

Contact HP should be the first thought you have, in my opinion.  They sold you the device as a whole... it not "happened" to come with Windows, HP put out there.

    Hello

I had the same problem when I upgraded my TouchSmart 320-1030. I got the touch screen works in this way:

    1. Press Windows + X logo.
    2. Select Device Manager from the list.
    3. Click on the small arrow next to Interface devices to expand the list.
    4. Click on the touch screen driver (in my case, Voltron NextWindow touch screen - your driver may be different).
    5. Right click and select Disable from the list.
    6. Click Yes in the dialog box that asks you if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.

    Another option:

    1. Press Windows + X logo.
    2. Select Device Manager from the list.
    3. Click on the small arrow next to display adapters to expand the list.
    4. Click the driver.
    5. Right click and select Disable from the list.
    6. Click Yes in the dialog box that asks you if you are sure you want to disable the driver.

Another thing: I had to reinstall the NextWindow Voltron touchscreen. I went to HP drivers and downloads page, download the WINDOWS 7 driver, which was under pilot - Original.

  • Touch screen works not properly

    Hello forum,.

I have TouchSmart HP ENVY 15-j021tx. Recently, I refreshed its OS and installed HP OEM Version 8.1 of Windows.
Now, it is completely up to date and I noticed that my touch screen works like a mouse.

When I type in a point it click here - it is normal but

When I drag something (e.g. scroll on the screen of the metro), it doesn't scroll but the mouse pointer starts to move with my finger

Similarly when I slide up/face down starts to move through a Web page the pointer, but the page does not move.

This really annoying because I can't use any gueature like the edge for Windows 8 charms or switching between applications.

In info PC it says "no pen or touch input is available for this view.

Here is the image of the Manager of peripherals and PC Info.

So, I got this problem fixed.

In devices, Interface devices Manager, there is an additional device installed namely Touch USB peripheral of entry.

Uninstalling this device does everything is normal.

The charms and each touch guesture now works normally.

    Thank you

  • HP 15 laptop: touch screen has stopped working

I have a HP TouchSmart laptop computer model 15-f010wm, product number J8A22UA #ABA, 8.1 with Bing 64-bit Windows.

The first day of the 3-4, I used this computer it worked like a charm. I loved. Now a few times touchscreen will work for about 5 min and then stops or does not work. When it stops working, I get a pop up in the lower right corner that says: the last USB device not recognized USB device you connected to this computer has malfunctioned, and the window does not recognize. (I have not plugged anything in this computer but except the power cord)  When this happens and you go to Device Manager sometimes, there will be a yellow! triangle under the Human Interface Devices drop down and some times yellow! triangle will be under Universal Serial Bus controllers list down. And if you go to they system screen line Pen and touch passes to no. Pen or press enter is available for this view.

I tried to do a system restore. Also, I did a test fast system and a comprehensive system. The results have been the primary battery check ok and all the others said past. And of course I can't make the screen test because the touch screen does not work.

Please help me with this. My computer was a gift, my other is really old and was ready for an upgrade. I've never had problem with HP before.

I tried to reboot it but the screen does not always work, it continued for nearly a day. Finally when I tried to restart, the laptop would begin to start but stop for two or three seconds in a power upward. Tried a hard reset, but it did nothing.
