Computer laptop Windows 8 will not let me connect, and the code to reset are not sent

I just got a new laptop lenovo yesterday, I've set up and it was perfectly fine, I've been in and out of her signature today without any problem, until that earlier. I stopped him an hour ago and now I can not connect, it is said that the pasaword is incorrect when I know it's because I can connect anywhere else for what is right. I tried to reset my password several times but I do not get a code.

The cat has worked.  Turned on emails telling me that a reset code would be sent received in my Inbox, but the emails with the codes have been sent to my spam folder.

Thanks for your help!

Asked this question in the Windows 7 forum also because the problem was between windows 7 and Vista.

    Hello

If it has started, you can try a system restore - an update "might" have caused the problem.

    1. try a system restore back to a point before that happened. And immediately thereafter enter
Control Panel - Windows updates - top left settings and set it to download and informs you instead
Automatic. Leave it until you are sure that everything is OK and then you can add them one at a time
to troubleshoot BUT click right on and HIDE all the driver updates. Also stop at day of drivers like below
and let this value - manually search for drivers when you think you need. (See how and why to)
    stop day of drivers below.)

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-System-Restore-how.html

To uninstall an update if you determine that there are problems - Panel - updated Windows - down left-

I had completely forgotten the system restore!  While looking into the system restore, I found that when I moved into my new House and has cable Internet installed, the cable technology installed a program of comcast on my computer.  This caused me to not be able to connect with other computers.  After rolling back to install it before it works!   Thank you.

  • Computer laptop Windows 8 does not properly connect to 8.1 Win mobile wifi hotspot - connection indicated as 'Limited' (no internet connection)

    Hello

None of our laptops Win 8 appear to be able to connect to a wifi hotspot (internet sharing enabled, and apart from the wifi on the handset) provided by our Win mobile (Nokia Lumia 635) 8.1, there seems to be a connection between the phone and the laptop, but it is presented as 'Limited' (no internet connection).

Same phones can provide the internet connection through the internet even setting for laptops Windows 7 without any problem of sharing.

What additional settings are there to win 8 laptops that require an adjustment?

    Thank you!

  • Computer laptop G62-457DX will not be able to DISPLAY or load Windows

    Hi Sparkles1,

Yes, I have reviewed the information and you know what, I saw the check of memory again following the instructions to test only 1 stick of mem module. I thought well, why not try something different. Who knows...

I removed the module from memory slot B and repositioned it back to slot A and let the other Module memory for location B of the equation altogether and alto, the laptop came to life. I booted up and it works terrible on 2GBs. Audible sound horrible, he had committed an error initconfiguration.xml failed in a program and all that is slow and a few delays throughout the manueverability and the battery is red and it says No battery is detected but you know what, I'm happy. I went into MSconfig and stopped all these processes from running at start up like Skype, adobe and a crowd of almost everything except most of the pc. I then stop the pc and installed MS 20 updates, but I had to manually start the PC to complete updates, and even if it is slow slow and makes noises of crap, it works and updates are completed. I noticed that the particular memory module has a red sticky film through the chipset and not on the legs of gold. This red movie looks like coke or pepsi once he has splashed and dried on a table, 4 or more hours. This kind of wet/sticky. I noticed that it looks to him in light. I touched and it is sticky, almost wet. So as long as I can safely clean the module that I think he will be OK, is there a good manual process for this? If I can't find a good electronic plastic resistant more own which is highly recommendable/suitable, then I'll replace it with the exact same type or more stick of DDR3 memory Module. I bookmarked this thread for more information because this is the best forum which covers a huge amount of information. I thank you for your time and your help for this.

  • Computer laptop Windows XP does not start? Help

Hi I have a windows xp laptop I think that their system eis or something like that... Whenever I start the laptop, he's going on the error you get when your dosent laptop shut down correctly. If I click on start normally the bar will spend about a quarter of the way and then just stayed forever and only safe mode also gets a freeze from then. Y at - it something wrong with the laptop or what. How can I get my laptop to work again... someone help me please.

It is up to tell you to us what brand of system and the model is... not "system ist or something like that."

When you choose to start safe mode and you can see all the stuff being loaded and the system crashes, which is the last line on the screen to say?

If you attached an external equipment, especially USB devices, disconnect everything and then you can see if things seem better.

If you get an error message windows system config, exactly what he says?

    No error paraphrased messages please!

    It was something like this:

Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

Which usually indicate some sort of corruption of system files may be a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (This includes the plug pulling, buttons power and removing the battery).  None of this seems familiar?

If you can boot from a CD, you can create a CD bootable XP (no XP media required) Recovery Console and run chkdsk with correction of errors on the afflicted to start System.

    Here's how:

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget what you have (no XP media required).

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD (do not install UniBlue or the Ask Toolbar - never!):

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

    Hello

    ·         What is the full error message?

.         Were there recent hardware or changes to the software on the computer before the show?

I suggest you to remove the devices connected to your computer (except keyboard and mouse) external and check if you can start the computer.

    Method 1:

You must disable the auto restart in case of failure system on your computer and note the error message receive you on the blue screen and you need to post back to us.

To do this, you must start your computer on the Advanced Boot options , and select Disable automatic restart in case of system error.

Follow this link provided below to start your computer in Advanced startup options.

Follow the steps in the article, and check if that helps.

How to fix BlueScreen (STOP) errors that cause Windows Vista to shut down or restart unexpectedly

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/958233

    Method 3:

If you have Windows Vista DVD you can try running the Startup Repair and the Tool of diagnosis of Memory Windows to check and Windows Recovery mode if it helps.

Alternatively, you can use the command prompt on the recovery mode windows to perform analysis and error correction on a drive letter of your choice by running "chkdsk x:" where x is the letter of your drive. Type the below command on command prompt, and then press ENTER:

    X:\>chkdsk/f

Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost

  • Screen on my laptop Windows 8 will not load?

The home screen on my laptop Windows 8 (Asus) is not at all responsible. The start screen is the page where you have all the applications, and you can customize the background as well giving him different combinations of colors and patterns in different model. My splash screen background color is between clear and dark green. Just as I said, the splash screen does not load. It's been like that since I've been on the phone a few hours ago - this means that none of the app buttons that show the applications load, and when I search apps, nothing will come either. It is only up like green color background, that I mentioned earlier. I'm worried when I go about it tomorrow, I won't be able to go on any of the applications, making me not to go on my laptop at all. What should I do?

    Hi Daniel,.

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft Community forums.

I understand that the splash screen does not load in your system to Windows 8. However, I would like to know some more information to refine the question and provide you with better assistance.

    1. What exactly happens when nothing loads on the screen? Do you have only a black background or color without any apps?
    2. What is the model No. for your ASUS notebook?
    3. How did you install Windows 8 (a new installation or an upgrade installation)?
    4. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?

This issue could be due to various reasons like an incompatible device or a bad installation or because of some corrupted Boot files. If you are unable to boot your system, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

To check if this problem is due to a compatibility issue with external devices, I suggest you to disconnect all external devices and check if the problem persists.

    Method 2:

If you have the disc to install Windows 8 with you, you can insert the installation disc and enter the Windows recovery environment for auto repair. See the following steps:

    (a) when your computer starts, wait for the logo of the manufacturer check the option of start menu, it will usually F12.

    (b) restart the computer, press the Boot menu option key to enter the boot menu and change the option to boot to DVD rom

    (c) Insert the disc of Windows 8 and restart the computer, it will boot to the Windows recovery environment.

    (d) click on Troubleshooting, advanced option and then click on auto repair.

    Method 3:

If you have a disk to install Windows 8 with you, then I suggest you to perform a verification of the file system. System File checker (SFC) scan is done to check if there are any corrupt system files that might cause this problem. See the following steps to perform a scan SFC:

    (a) follow the same steps above to enter in the Windows recovery environment.

    (b) click Troubleshooting, then Advanced options , and click command prompt.

    (c) in the command prompt, type the following command: sfc/scannow , and then press ENTER.

    (d) now, to restart the computer.

    (e) check if the problem persists.

If you are able to start on the screen, then I suggest to try the steps posted by Praseetha K Nair said on November 18, 2012 in the following link:

  • Computer laptop Windows 7 can not find wireless network connections

My Samsung RV510's laptop had windows 7 on front and without wire worked but recently my hard drive for this laptop broke and I had to get a new HARD drive. Unable to get into safe mode or anything just stuck on the black screen with the mouse cursor. Can anyone help please?

    Hi Stewart,

Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

You can follow these methods and check if it works:

Method 1: Unplug all external devices connected to the computer except keyboard, mouse and monitor and check if the problem persists.

Method 2: If the method above does not help, then you can follow the steps in the below mentioned Microsoft article and check.

Windows 8 starts with a blank screen after a standard or hibernation

  • Computer laptop Windows 8 can not reset/refresh or update to 8.1

So 4-5 months ago, I got a new laptop with Windows 8, and everything was working properly until I had a nasty virus that locked my screen after connection, I managed to get rid of the virus, but I think in the process of my anti-virus deleted some system files.

Since then, the Windows Security Center Service has been disabled, and if I click on turn on I get a screen pop up saying "you cannot start the Windows Security Center service."
It was a little disturbing, but I don't give much thought but recently I wanted to move to 8.1 and it doesn't give me the error 'your Windows 8.1 installation could not be completed', after trying again 2 times I went to check if I could update and see if it works, it has not, after that I tried to reinstall , but which does not work either...
I want to do a reinstall, recover all the original windows files and keep current partitions, I saved that I need and I'm pretty much ready, my question is how do?
I got the key and I was able to make a dvd with installation, please help me.

    Hi Mihai,

In the following procedure, you can download the ISO of Windows 8 and create a DVD.

    1. click here upgrade to Windows 8 with a product key, and then click the option "install Windows 8".

2 run the configuration file (WindowsSetupBox.exe), who will start to download Windows 8 ISO.

3 click "Install." by creating media

4 if you decide that the installation program to create USB flash media player, or save the ISO file. If you choose the ISO, the ISO file is saved on your PC and you will be able to burn to DVD.

Note: When you reinstall the operating system, select the partition on which the operating system is currently installed. No format/select all other partitions that can erase data on them.

Your computer came preinstalled with Windows 8, you can also contact the manufacturer and verify that they can help you perform Update or reset.

Hope that the information provided is useful. Do not respond if you need more help.

  • 15z HP touchscreen laptop: computer laptop brand new will not start

My brand new laptop just cameo yesterday and it keeps showing "Boot Menu" with 2 options (FreeDOS and Documents HP). If I choose option 1, which is "FreeDOS", it will show other 2 options: 1 - FreeDOS load including driver HIMM XMS-memory and 2 - load FreeDOS without driver). I have chosen these 2, it displays a black screen with "C:\ > ' at the top left and it won't do anything then. What should I do? I ordered it online on the official site of HP.

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your issue on your laptop HP 15z touch and issues with Free Dos. This laptop does not include Windows, you need to buy Windows separately. Free distribution of base back requires no fees or royalties, and the creation of custom distributions is permitted.

You have a few options. I can't tell you that we chose, I only know you what they are. The first option is to buy a copy of Windows from a retailer and install it on your computer.

  • Computer laptop Windows XP do not hibernate / hold

Recently, I restored my computer to a previous checkpoint because he was very slow and I knew it was an easy way to solve the problem.  However, several problems have emerged from this system restore.  One, when my computer restarted, it went for the classic theme and appearance of the window I couldn't change it.  I patiently sifted through forums and finally understood how to rekindle the theme xp with a little work and it still needs to be reset occasionally when it is restarted. Two, my computer goes to sleep but do not hibernate.  Therefore, the computer is low on battery power in the standby mode and I lose all my data.  I never had this problem before the system restore.  All my power settings are perfectly defined and it should be in hibernation.  When I put the sleep button for Hibernate to see what was going on, I noticed the problem.  Sinking into the windows form, prepare to Hibernate and then immediately switches to the office or whatever it is I was running at the time.  I tried many ways no programs running when I restarted my computer and Open firefox and thunderbird.  Nothing has worked.  I really need to understand what the problem is that I can't really keep the loss of data or to worry about my computer whenever I put it in sleep mode to run out of battery.  Obviously something is running (maybe a virus?) which prevents my computer from hibernation and depletes the battery in standby mode (which has never been a problem before).

I won't say that a rootkit will not cause a problem with the Hibernate or absence. I will say that I've never seen that happen as a result of malware.

My experience with Hibernate issues have almost always been the result of graphical issues, a bad graphics devices or simply the graphics driver.

  • Computer laptop Pavilion dv6 will not work

Hello, I have a computer laptop Pavilion dv6 with product number QE023UA #ABA. It works under windows 7.

So I was just playing and my laptop turns off suddenly as if he had run out of battery life. But he is in CHARGE. I didn't know what happened, so I just pressed the power button and nothing happened. I pressed it again but longer, still nothing.
(btw, I use an extension) I thought something was wrong with the plug, but nothing was wrong. I heard a strange noise coming from the ac cable. That is what happened: Advanced... Tip... Tip... Tip... Tip... and so on. I tried to remove the battery and put it back in, but that does not solve anything. None of the lights are on. I don't know what to do more and I am looking for help.

Sorry if my English is bad.

The problem is solved, but thank you for responding.
