  I'm sorry, but apparently the proccessor is soldered to the motherboard of the computer, so you cannot update. All-in-one computers are not designed to be upgraded (I have a Pavilion b010 20 with a proccessor 1.48 GHz) and I would really have a problem with the "no upgrade" thing if the proccessors was not so terrible! I feel you, I do a lot of game and I have for them to run as 5 fps. So to sum it all, you can't update.

  15 - e020tx is the model and there a processor i7 and switchable graphics with Radeon HD 8670 so it is pretty high-end as laptops go, but it's what they are. On laptops in general in most cases, including your case, no video 'card is' to be removed, replaced or upgraded. She is soldered directly to the motherboard.   Motherboards intel more modern should easily accept a 800 mhz cpu, but I cannot guarantee. May be an idea to see if you can find out if there are other models of Toshiba L40, also with 800 mhz chip, because it would be a good indicator.

  And if I can't pass a T2310 because of the 800 mhz too is their a 533 mhz cpu that will be compatible & more powerful for audio production that my current Ghz CPU T2310 1.46.

  I've only had this PC 4 years again, it seems not to be very mobile friendly if this resource could not be designed to handle upgrades.

  If you see the maintenance and maintenance guide it will list of recommended replacements.  The remove section will list all the individual pieces that are replaceable by the customer.

  But as far as I know that different Qosmio F20 models were shipped with these processors:
  Intel Pentium - M 1.60/1.73/1.86/2.00/2.13GHz

  As long as the 2600 k has the same characteristics of power dissipation (95 Watt), so it should be compatible with your motherboard. Once again, HP updated the BIOS FRIEND do not configure for overclocking the processor unlocked so will operate at the speed of stock.
