computer shutsdown during the video file conversion

I'm trying to convert a file MKZ in AVI (or other type) and process each time the conversion of the computer shutsdown. I tried different programs, but they all do the same thing. any help would be appreciated.

Hello

Method 1: I suggest you to convert an MKZ AVI file on another computer and see if the problem still occurs.

Method 2: I suggest you to create the new user account and check if the problem persists.

I hope this helps!

You're welcome ShawWellPete, I thank you for everything.

Yes, this person is the windows user, but it was the same question that could have been resolved by quicktime 7. (pending confirmation)

Try to disable the start-up services and restart the mac and then try: take control of start-up and connection elements. Macworld

  • Re: How to save the video file to a DVD-R for Equium A200

I have the Equium A200. Someone can tell me how to save the video file to a DVD-R on my computer in order to use it later, or use it in windows movie maker and must not simply copy on another DVD-R right?

My cursor also has disappered in the suite of windows media, that makes life quite difficult.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

You mean, you want to copy the original DVD movie to HARD drive?
Well, you can copy the contents of the entire DVD to the HARD drive. It means that you have to copy a lot of data.
I would recommend shrinking the DVD movies using a tool called DVD shrink.
It would decrease the data and would also copy the content to the HARD drive.

But if you want to use these files later in windows movie maker, so you must convert these using a 3rd party tool.
Google a bit and you should find many free applications that would help you to do this work.

I could at some point... but now all I get is audio, no video.  The files open and work on

    Help!

    Hello

    • What version of Windows are you using?

    1. it is possible that you are missing the codec to play the file or it is clashing with other codec files.

    2. the link provided below lists supported by Windows Media Player file format.
It does not list the AVCHD or. MTS files supported file format directly:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316992

    3. yet we cannot be sure at this point that the issue is due to interference with some files.

    Method 1:
Alternatively, you can perform a restore of the system to a previous point, when the issue was not present. The System Restore tool uses points of restore to return the system files and settings to an earlier point in time. You can use it to restore the operating system to a point in time where you have not experienced the problem.

Note: When you use System restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

To do this, there must be a restore point from the system in which the connection was successful.

Please refer to the below of the help links on performing a system restore.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-is-system-restore
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2:
You can determine which codec was used with a specific file; read the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties. On thefile tab, look at the Audio codec and Video codec sections.

Then you can uninstall any installed codec and install that you need to do the job file.

If you have several codec for the single file to work they can clash and cause problems.

You can check the link for assistance on the issue - below

You need a video converter to change your type of video file to formats supported by the media player on your computer. I suggest you convert to wmv format. It is the most reliable format type.

Go surf the web. There are many converters FREE video that will do the job. Just enter the video converter in the search box of the browser.

    Hello

    · What is the file format? 3GPP
    · The question is limited to this video file? Yes, all the videos copied from my cell and downloaded on PC, the problem occurs. Note all the copied images have no problems.
    · Did you do changes on the computer before the show? None.

Any further suggestions? I fear, if I should try a codec download from the internet and that you and the measures to be taken.

... Any further suggestions? I fear, if I should try a codec download from the internet and that you and the measures to take...

I would recommend that you download and install K-Lite Codec pack from here.

    Download K-Lite Codec Pack

Get either the Standard or complete package to halfway to the bottom of the page. There is a package tailor-made for 64-bit if your Windows 7 is that the flavor. The 64-bit package is not always necessary, as most of the programs are still 32-bit.

  • Why can I get only audio when I play the video files?

I only get the audio portions when I play video files.  The video is black and white.  What is happening with mi/gal., avchd and videos posted to Web sites. YouTube, Facebook, etc.  The video files only can I play are windows media files.  Media Windows PLAYER will not play any other video files?  I have the latest updates for my video card and the adobe flash player.  Thanks for any info!  Elwood, Windows 7 64 bit, i7 980 x @333 6 hearts, 12 GB of ram DDR 1600, Radeon 5850 GPU, OCZ Vertex 3 120 GB SSD

It is likely that the various files contain the CODEC, that are either not installed on your computer, or PrE is not able to use them.

You list several types of files, and I urge you to first see this FAQ entry, then get one of the utilities file info, related to it, G-Spot, MediaInfo, or MediaInspector, then view the details on the different CODECS: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037?tstart=0

In addition, WMP cannot play the video shows the probability of a CODEC problem.

Or another of the great, try free media players, VLC Player, or MediaPlayer Classic HC. Both contain many useful CODECS, but they do NOT install them in the operating system.

Good luck, and with the CODEC info, can anyone give your recommendations.

The answer is that all of your files, folders, and programs should remain in their normal form. However, backup your personal files is always a good idea.

  • Looking for new information in the discussion "can not load the video file.

I repeatedly get him "cannot complete request because Photoshop can not download the file" error message.  I have read the information about Quicktime, which dates back to April.  However, I get this while trying to open the video files .mpeg-2, .mxf and .mp4 (Photoshop CC).  All these depend on Quicktime?  Is there another reason for getting this error?  At least the first two of these formats are listed in the manual as being recognized and appropriate for Photoshop CC.
