Computer turns off

The fan was running almost non-stop. Then I opened the computer to remove the dust (lots of dust). When I went to turn it back on - turns on and then a few seconds turns off.

Not sure if I'm doing this right, but I found the answer myself.

I started to unscrew one of the fans until I realized that the front part of it snaps off the coast.

I forgot to tighten the screws. When I did that it turns on and stayed on.

    Contact the manufacturer of your laptop as there must be a way to restore the computer. There may be a hidden restore partition.

    Method 1: If the computer is in power saving mode, check if you can wake the computer from this State by moving the mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard.

    Could be hardware or even heat and ventilation the related. Try using a small fan to increase ventilation. When a PC
    Remove ALL power and reinstall the memory, all cards and cables (do just not shake - remove and replace-)
    cables on both ends where possible).

    As it does in Mode safe so you probably need technical support in a real store of the computer - no Peeks/leeks at BestBuy or other large shopping areas. Very difficult to solve if it does not remain under tension.

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > right click on command prompt > run as Admin >powercfg-h on

    What has changed in your environment, as it was working before and now does not work? Have you installed any new software or updates?
    It can be 3rd party software created a conflict with your codecs and you need to re - register.

    You could check and see if you have compatible Codecs installed in Windows Vista.
    or you can try to use the codec for Vista Codec Pack - pack

    There are other 3rd party codecs but I can't guarantee that they will work with Windows Vista.

    Please answer back with an update.
