  Follow these steps for the Outbox, sent items after you move the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create. Just don't touch the problem message so OE will not freeze.

  You must have defined DGPAPROD. WORLD in tnsnames.oar on the server where DB is runnig.

  Click on Edit-> preferences, and make sure there is a check mark in the box to display the Welcome screen.

  Same problem here. I've tried absolutely everything. Even from the iphone as a 'new '. Nothing has worked. I spoke with the apple care team and the only solution was to Exchange my iphone because it is still under warranty. Of course, I don't want to be without a phone for one or two weeks due to which is clearly a software bug (even if not recognized by apple).  Seriosuly, very disappointing...
