Please do the following and after each test to see if the problem is resolved - if yes, then you can omit the following steps - I tried to list them in ascending order of the effort at least on a Mac and / or an iDevice

  1. Check if the problem is related to a single device and if other devices connect normally-
  2. If the answer 1 is 'yes' - try to connect the device assigned to somewhere else if possible - coffee or the University
  3. Please see recommended settings of WiFi routers and Apple access points
  4. Perform a forced - restart cela do not delete or purge all data and allows to solve many problems - here is how - press and hold the Off / On Home button and at the same time for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Allow normal startup upward.
  5. Settings - WiFi - < network name > - Click on forget network - do a restart forced 4 and then again add the network
  6. If home - reboot the router by unplugging it for 60 seconds (power) and the plug and reconnect - obviously, this step can be done in a public place like a cafe or airport or University. While you're there - make sure your router is working on the latest firmware (check manufacturer's website)
  7. Settings - general - reset - Reset network settings - remember to have very practical WiFi passwords because it erases the WiFi passwords
  8. If it is a new specific net device in your home - make sure that the router gives enough DNS for all numbers which must / wants a connection - stuff like the printer, Chromecast get overlooked - ask for more details on this so not sure option
  9. Backup the device to iTunes - restore as NEW (no backup) using iTunes - see if solves problem - if yes - restore backup
  10. An appointment of 'Genius' to an Apple Store, or select another authorized service provider

  • My iPhone 5 s battery is down 46% during the night

    2 months ago, I bought an iPhone 16 GB 5 s. These last two weeks it dropped a lot of battery overnight and just recently I've been load to 100% every night and when I woke up, it was on nearly 65%. I stay in low-power mode and background app refresh all night and has not made a difference.

    Have you checked the settings / / battery use, whether the app uses the battery the most?

    If you haven't already done so, try to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will lose all data by doing this, but it can cure a few glitches.

    If it does not, and to make sure that this isn't related software, set it back to factory settings, without using any data backup later. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the phone.

    If the phone works as before the update, restore to the last backup. If the problem returns, the data backup contains damaged data, causing your issues.

  • Problems of airtime...

    So, here is my question:

    Music Apple listened via AirPlay of Apple TV. Connection drops a lot too. However, if I listen to music from Pandora, Spotify, or Amazon, with the same features, the connection never breaks and it starts instantly (unlike with Apple music, which seems to take at least 30 seconds or more to go).

    What happens here? So very frustrating! I like music from Apple, when it works, but I am this close to saying goodbye to it. Pointers?

    I suspect a problem with the network.

    I think your best course of action would be to investigate your network, but you might want to see if turning the settings > AirPlay > Play buys cloud allows a solution in the short term.

    I like Nvidia cards, but before you do anything, I would like to know what Nvidia cards are compatible with this machine, so I do not buy something that is not compatible with the motherboard. It is a machine under windows 7 (64-bit).

    There are only two or three compatible cards which are a step toward the top of the motherboard, I would also some tips that we could give me the biggest gains.   I guess that the compatible cards will be a few years old may therefore be able to find some deals out there.

    You have only 300watts SMPS without upgrading the SMPS, I think that would be the best GT 630 (Kepler) so it is much better clock memory and more than hearts cuda compared to the 530 GT.

    Pending an answer to my question of cooling liquid, I will ask another question.

    The line processor Xeon E5 is the fastest CPU listed for the Z840. It looks like a Xeon E7-8891 is faster and I wonder if it might be available in the Z840 in the near future? Any plans for a Xeon E7 for the Z840?

    It's an interesting question.  The short answer is that it is application specific, but it is difficult to determine how to balance carrots vs. frequency for each application.  I don't really know the answer, but there are several variables to consider.

    A little off-topic technical discussion:

    Frequency rated core from Intel is the guaranteed minimum of frequency.  All processors have the Turbo Boost technology, which increases the base frequencies by steps of 100 MHz.  CPUs are given numbers for turbo steps maximum 'all basic' and 'carrot' turbo maximum steps.  For example, the E5-2699 is only 2.3 GHz, but can stimulate all the hearts in 5 steps and a carrot in 13 stages, under certain conditions.

    Intel found that the maximum power of the CPU is limited by the temperature of die.  Too hot, and the industry may be damaged (in fact it is thermally first throttle) so Intel limited the power being dissipated.  (Each processor has a rated output of Groove).  Die temperature corresponds to the use of the power of the CPU.  Use your analogy (of cleaning units = pressure x Volume) pressure washer, similarly, CPU power dissipation is a function of: [frequency of the processor (higher freq = more power used), the number of active nuclei and the load on each core].  The idea is to run the CPU at a high level of power for maximum performance, so the frequency of the hearts will vary depending on the load.

    If the system uses only 1 core, temperature of die will get too hot, if there is an another carrots 15 just sitting there.  In this case, Intel will increase the active base of several steps of 100 MHz frequency.  10 stages = 1 GHz, so what rated 2.3 GHz CPU could run to 3.3 GHz for a short period.  If all hearts work 100%, the hottest of, so the frequency of operation may be limited to the nominal value.  The frequency may change the order of milliseconds, if I remember correctly.

    Another mechanical analogy, it is that of a car with a redline 6000.  Maximum power (= performance) is then carried out to redline, even, the CPU performance maximum occurs at the maximum temperature limit.  If the CPU can run at up to x Watts, why not increase the frequency when he's not stressed?

    It is a simplification, but tries to explain the operation of the CPU.  Sometimes people post in the forums that their CPU temp is high, and they are worried about it.  As long as the temperature is lower than the maximum junction temperature Tj max, it's OK.  (Running coretemp program displays Tj max and the base time, FYI).  If the system is working properly, with the correct heater and the circulation of air, it runs the warmer is a sign to get the best performance from the system.  Running a car to redline makes it go faster, but it heats up.  ;-)

    BTW, in the same way, if the CPU usage is very low, the frequency of the processor will drop a lot of steps, sometimes a GHz or more.  This is done to save overall system power when the processors don't make much.  Run an active program of CPU frequency will show bounce everywhere.

    The UC E5-2687W is the only supported processor 160W.  Intel suggests that it's the highest "balance" CPU because it has a relatively high frequency of 3.1 GHz to 10 cores and has more thermal height.  But even once, do not take my word for it that it is better for your application.

    HP found that some programs do not recognize more than 64 hearts, so 2 x 18 E5-2699 processors cores with hyperthreading, will use only 64 out of 88 cores available (with active Hyperthreading).  Just another complication.  FOR INFO.

  • S7: black screen on startup

    S7, barely a month.  Order last night, left pending, lid and power cord plugged in.

    Today he won't move beyond a black screen at startup.  Starts with the start screen "Acer Explorer beyond the limits" and then just black.  However, I can see the pointer of couse to the screen and it can move with touchpad and mouse.

    I rebooted several times, power cord unplugged, etc..  No luck.

    Looking, seems I'm not the only one with this problem.

    Come on Acer, I dropped a lot of money on this machine!  Help, please!

    Here's how I fixed my problem as described in my original post (for now, anyway):

    Unplug the power apparatus.  Open the cover; computer will power on but go to black screen.

    Power off button on the side, but leave the lid open.

    Then, with (2) lid open (1) the computer turned off and unplugged from power cord (3), press and hold the power button / stop for 30 seconds.  Computer will be quickly implemented on and then turns off quickly (you'll see the Acer logo startup screen, but he died before entering the black screen).  Keep holding the power button / stop through all this for 30 seconds.

    At the end of 30 seconds, the computer will be (should be) off the coast.   Remove your finger from the power button / stop.  Leave lid open during all this.

    With lid open, connect the power cable.  Press the power button / stop as you normally would (you are not holding it this time) to turn on.

    Computer should start normally.

    Worked for me; It may be useful if you encounter the same problem.  I said that it has something to do with static buildup.

    I dragged and dropped a lot of albums in memory internal and external files (music), but for some reason any on some issues of the album (not all but most) there was a 8 digit code added in front of the name of the folder, in the folder. Like the 0DF00000_Blind - Blind Melon Melon.

    I like to navigate by folder and bought the "rocket" as she does, but they added numbers screws to the top of the list of albums.

    I read another post where someone has got these numbers added during the transfer through Media Player but there is no solution for drag / drop.

    I don't know a lot about the modes USB etc. One option would be to force the MSC mode, clear all, and then re - file to see if that helps?

    Try to use the manual mode to MSC. There is a reason why the mode that you are using is called "Failure to Auto".

  • CS5.5 Master Collection "Installer failed to initialize".

    DW CS5.5 manifested suddenly repository problems. All of the property of all the sites disappeared from the site DW Manager.

    Advice on the forums has been to remove and reinstall DW.

    I deleted DW and attempted a re - install files MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1.exe and .7z.

    By clicking on "setup.exe", the Setup program returns "Installer could not initialize" closes.

    So, not Dreamweaver.

    Any ideas please?

    Thank you, Jon. Your suggestion has worked, but in a roundabout way because of my idiocy. The problem turned out be the error of the operator, not a 'mysterious disappearance' of goods that I have for the first time. Took me about 6 hours of teeth gnashing to realize that there are four ways of looking at assets to DW CS5.5 - view Local, remote server, testing server and notice of filing.

    I do all the work DW in Local mode and have never thought this little drop a lot (all). But on that fateful day, the display has been changed inadvertently to the repository which 'disappeared' assets for each site. They were not missing, of course, they were not simply to repository. DOH!

    I had deleted the Collection of Master DW at the get-go, so the application still had to be replaced after that I finally understood what was going on. Your suggestion was the answer.

    PS - it took, in my case, to rename the Adobe folder in the common files before installation of DW would work. (Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe). I've renamed the Adobe Adobe1 file. Successful DW installed, create another folder of Adobe. I then copied the contents of the new folder of Adobe1, deleted the new folder of Adobe and renamed Adobe1 Adobe. All the apps Master collection now fortunately found and works very well.

    Once updated my Citrix Netscaler VPX devices 2 (vmware hardware 8, Citrix Netscaler OS v10.5.52.11nc (latest), FreeBSD 64 bit, E1000 Nic) has stopped responding on the network. They work very well when it is on the old version 5.5U2 but starts to drop packets intermittently and then finally deposited the network during the migration to a host that has the patches listed above. I have 2 mode high availability, this happens even if only one is enabled and the other offshore. It goes back to normal when back to host pre patched vmotioned.

    I have tried switching networks, remove and add network, upgrade to 10 hardware cards, removing all together and deploy the latest version of the citrix website, if it fall not all together, he will drop a lot of packages. You can watch the netscaler console display events NŒUD FAIL, NŒUD down and NŒUD up to several times per minute.

    Enter the shell in the NetScaler mode, then:

    (1) find location loader.conf on NetScaler VM #find /-name loader.conf

    For the VM NetScaler downloaded, there are 2 loader.conf:./flash/boot/defaults/loader.conf and. / flash/boot/loader.conf, we only need to change one.

    (2) add "hw.em.txd = 512" in loader.conf, this will change the Tx ring size to 512 (Note: do not set the size of the ring to 256, it will cause the NetScaler VM core dump)

    (3) restart the NetScaler VM

    4) migrate to a host with the latest patches

    Renting a 5 gig in the cloud diagram is an excellent idea. I'm trying to sell it now to my boss, naturally the first questions are what is (1) as performance and (2) what is the reliability is therefore

    1. What is the maximum number of concurrent users that S5 can support while maintaining type OLTP in 1.5 to 2 seconds response time?

    2. What is the backup and restore strategy? If S5 drops a lot how I lose? 15 seconds as if I redo the active log files? a day as if I had just yesterday end export schema of day? How long will it take for S5 to recover and to get online?

    Backup and recovery - how long did take last time you tried to restore the database full backup and apply redo log files? or perhaps you have Data on Guard even if the main server blow up just switch us on a stand with and there is no interruption of service at all? I read on our CLOUD ORACLE SERVICE CONTRACT and there was nothing on the recovery time and data loss. Please can you me something a little more specific. If the exadata box my diagram 5G is sitting on that pops up (1) how long before I can run the SQL statement again? (2) how long before overwriting of data will be lost? 5 minutes? 30 minutes? until the backup from the night before?


    Given that I work for Oracle, any statement I make in this area could be interpreted as an SLA.  As I mentioned, by default, we do not have an SLA for the Cloud Service of database.  Please contact a sales representative to continue the discussion on the possibility of including an SLA in a purchase contract.

    Anyone had any problem video inversion of AVVCAM (AVCHD) in the BODY CS5?

    Question is perhaps in reading that I didn't not round to export outside... but reading is always a problem anyway when a customer wants to see the reverse all shot while sitting there!

    Before rendering, I got a yellow bar and images was dropping a lot of frames playing backward.  With the help of the sequence. Made any workspace, I got the clip for rendering.

    Press the right arrow increases the number of columns, that upward increases the number of lines. On May also USE the script "Imagecatalog" located in the menu window > utilities > Scripts (CS5) window > automation > Scripts (CS4 and CS3). We must then open the Application folder > samples.

    In top left of my screen for the arrow key to the left to return to previous pages, there was a drop down arrow just to the right, so I see a lot of my previous web pages. Since the installation of Firefox 4.0.1 this arrow has disappeared.

    You can get the menu drop-down by clicking on the previous/next buttons or now the left key pressed until the list is displayed.

    Your best bet is to get to a repair facility independent of having your phone looked.

    iPhone 4 s are little tough suckers, so you can have just a disconnected, damaged screen or display battery disconnected in the drop-down list.

    Your option at Apple is a one off replacement warranty on a 4S which means turn into your phone, pay $199, get a 4 s handed to nine.   It's too much pay for a 4S these days.

    In a shop that specializes in independent repair, someone can help troubleshoot your phone to see if it is a problem of display which are highly soluble or battery. Cost-$ 50 - $100 depending on the problem (s).

    If you have more serious damage to the Board, then it can be useful to continue given the value of the unit.

    How to identify a quality independent repair shop?

    Do the research.  Not all independent repair shops are trustworthy, and the quality of the parts they use can vary.  Looking for a store with good reviews, a solid guarantee at least 6 months on the repair and a guarantee to solve your problem or toll-free.  Ask that they source their parts.  Any store claiming to use real Apple original parts should be avoided, as this is not possible.  Independent repair is a fantastic option for comfort and savings, but you have to do some legwork to find a store in your area, given that many of those unscrupulous.
