Configuration in google cloud printer

I have an Acer chromebook and I need help to set up my printer with it to print in the clouds, I the Photosmart 5514 and when I try to set up in the clouds he wants me to put in the printer email address? I have no idea what it is or where to find it. My printer was not in the list that I could just pic, can anyone help?

Hi, what you need to do is make sure that the printer is connected to your wireless network, then press the ePrint on the front panel of the printer. Follow the instructions on the screen to enable web services, how should print an information page containing the claim code printers unique ePrint. It is the email address printers that Google Cloud Print is trying to turn your printer on PAG.

Any problems post back and I'll try to help.

Best.

I wonder how (or if) I can save my all-in-one HP Officejet J6480 printer use Googe Cloud Print?

    Hello @CookinCo22 ,

    Welcome to the HP forum.

I understand you're wondering if you can set your J4680 until chromebook.

For a printer can be configured on Google Cloud Print, it must have the functionality of the web services.

Unfortunately the J4680 doesn't have this feature.

If you have a PC or a Mac, you can set up a conventional printer.

The downside is that you should have the PC or Mac turned on to be able to print from the Chromebook.

The positive side is that you can print your chromebook.

    I hope this helps you.

How do you print a MG8220 using Google Cloud to a ChromeBook.  Can only print if my main computer is awake.  Thought the MG8220 was a legacy "cloud ready".  Any ideas?  Thank you!

    Hi KiwiKoues,

There are three steps to configure the Google Cloud Printing feature.  We created a PDF guide for each step in this process.

    1. Setup
    2. Register
    3. Print

  • Communication between HP eprint and Google Cloud Print

    Hello

communication between HP eprint and Google Cloud Print seems to be broken. At least for me.

Documents to print when I print vio Chrome browser or Cloud Print dashboard - but the State in the clouds print remains "submitted". It seems that somehow the HP eprint status doen't get referred to cloud print. In HP eprintcenter paper says "printed".

Well, I wonder who will take care of this problem...  (Hope this does not lead to fingerpointing only...)

    Thanks for your support!

  • Photosmart 7520 does not not with Google cloud print

I have a photosmart 7520 which was recorded with HP and have an email address. I associate that with google cloud print.  When I try to print anything my chromebook. the cloud print queue indicates that it has printed, but nothing appears. When I feel the wireles test report told me I have 2 networks with the same SSID but I don't think I have.

I got some impressions from the 7520 but blindly - it is more often a failure. I restarted my router and restore the default settings for the installation all over again even once, but nothing helps.

    Hello JS01,.

Thank you for the updated information. And the information you gave me certainly help.

I have included a link to another thread on the forums with a customer who also has a BT Home Hub 5.  If you click on "this issue has been resolved view Solution ' it will take you to the post where the customer explains how to set up the Home Hub 5.

OK, so I just bought an ASUS Chromebook and I tried to connect my HP Photosmart d110 printer to the ePrint service every DAY. I know I have to do is enter the email address of my printer in the Google Cloud Print for it to connect, but I did have a success in getting. Whenever I pull up the "Web Services", it says that my printer needs to be updated... but when I try to update I get the message, "your printer has the latest updates installed. I deleted and re-entered my printer HP EPrint, use google different emails and I tried all day.  Error message from Google is very generic, (HP site down, wrong email, printer different wrong record, etc.).

I printed out on the printer using e-mail to HP eprint know my printer.  I turned turned on/turned off/turned on eprint and asked my information on the net through the printer from the eprint site.  All the works.

I couldn't find an address of emails to help with Google Cloud Print so I hope HP can see my requests for its servers and it is on their side.

Any help would be appreciated, but I read all the other messages on the subject and has never seen one of them.  All patches seemed is just fixed itself.  (I CAN SEE WHY THE GOOGLE CLOUD PRINT SITE IS BETA - very poorly supported and written)

  • Google Cloud Print setup - impossible to analyze the capabilities of the printer

I am trying to add my CP1525nw to Google Cloud Print as a Cloud, and not as a LOCAL printer printer, however every time that I add my eprint email I get the following message. "Impossible to analyze the capabilities of the printer" - I tried for public and private use for eprint settings with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I tried the reset email with no luck...

    EDIT - 01/04/11:

I chatted with HP support, and although the representative was extremely courteous, they could not help me.  The support agent assured me that the matter would be taken at a higher level and looked so I hope that we can have a resolution here shortly.

    EDIT - 04/04/11:

Received a response from the original HP rep that I chatted with online.  In short, it was not able to find a solution and States, that the question will be sent upwards to the highest level of technical support from HP...  We shall see.

    EDIT - 05/25/11:

After 2 months of waiting, HP has corrected the problem.  Don't forget to upgrade to the latest firmware and check all the settings before continuing.

The fix came from the side server - this defiinitely had nothing to do with the firmware.  I've updated on Monday for the latest on the HP website and it was still not working.   The gentlemen of tech support that helped me sent me an email a few hours after we talked, saying the sea a fix was to come.

Nevertheless, I am happy without worrying how the fix is here!

It took only 2 months to fix, but I'm glad it is.

  • How to set up Google Cloud Print

All hell! I just wanted to share a great link on how to set up Google Cloud print on HP printers ePrint compatible and on printers HP classic (inheritance). Please note that if you don't have a google account, you will need to create one to use this feature. In addition, for traditional printers, you must make the browser Google Chrome on your computer. It guides you step by step and has links to Google Cloud print out.  Here is the link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02817255

I mainly use Chrome OS, but it seems to have the same problem on a PC running Cloud Print via a browser. If I connect to the applications on the 8600 eStorage feature and go to display and print, then I can access Google Drive files and order a print of a PDF file through this interface and that they print correctly.  I had deleted the former use of the Cloud Print queue and queue ePrintCenter, but still no a PDF is via CloudPrint impression.

I can't thank you enough for this explanation. I didn't know that there is a correlation between the error 'unknown' with the printer on the ePrint and Google Chrome website.  I have worked with greed to try to determine the causes of this error to www.hpconnected.com and so far everyone has said that it does not affect their impression.

You see the error in the hpconnected or the eprintcenter.com?

I now have a few steps for you and please let me know the result. I want you to set a static IP address on the printer.  I have created a comprehensive document which includes all the steps to solve a similar problem (maybe even the same problem).  Do not hesitate to try any suggestion in this link and let me know if any help really.

-Printer will not respond to touch and Communication Network is lost-I am a link you directly how to set a static IP address, but just know that I will be having try you a number of relevant suggestions if it does not work.

All I ask is patience with me while I do some tests to see if your error on the ePrint site has something to do with Google Chrome.  In fact, thank you for giving me something more to test.

Finally, if the static IP address is not help, just turn on the printer, and then try to print the PDF, because so far, it's what makes the error on the Web site to go.  Keep me posted.

  • Error in the external employment when Google Cloud Printing Service: HP Laserjet 1102w Professional P

I set up my printer and associated with Google Cloud Printing. I shared the printer with my daughter who is on a chromebook. When she tries to print, the printer is here and the job is sent to bu ePrint I get an error saying: "error in the external employment service". No documents are able to print. Google says that it is a problem of HP.

I deleted the printer on my behalf of girls and it re-shared and associated again, but this is not enough. On my Printers page, my daughter's google account is identified as "authorized to print." But it still does not work. Any ideas?

Thanks Jerends. I had checked all these options and none worked, so I deleted the printers and re-associates a few minutes. That did the trick. Just as the helpdesk CTR-ALT-DEL trick.

Strange thing has been/is that he used to work, but something happed to raise this issue.

In any case, thanks for your help.

  • Definition of paper with Google Cloud Print size

Hi, I have a HP Photosmart 5520 and it's great work. The only problem that I had up to now is when I tried to print 6 x 4 using Google Cloud Print photos. Nowhere could I find an option to change the size of the paper, and when I printed, it was obviously still staggered to A4. When I tried to print from my phone the only option of paper size is A4 again. I finally got to work using the application of e-Print HP on my phone, but I expected that it should work with Google Cloud Print, did I miss something?

    Hi John,.

After all my research for Google Cloud Print, the only mention of the ability to change the size of the paper is to use the Google Cloud Print for Android application.

  • Windows Server 2012 and Google Cloud Print

Someone at - it problems using Google Cloud Print WinServer 2012?  PC Win7 and ChromeBooks see the printers and copiers as in offline mode.  The print service is not stopped, but he must restart it several times a day.  We still live with a utility that automatically restarted the process of print server every hour.

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)
