When I try to configure my printer HP DeskJet 812 C as a network printer, it is connected via a wireless (linksys) print server, I get all the way to the Panel in which I am to set the driver but there are only a couple of mess of the printers listed there. Two, it's because there's only so many wireless printers and Windows 7 did not account for the printers to the print server connected. My 812-C is not among them, because it is not natively a network printer.

Maybe if I could install the drivers as a separate Act, then I could set up the printer even to work to an IP address. I print on the parallel port. Windows 7 supports parallel to print to the HP DeskJet 812 C printer?

Problem solved. You did not put the nail on the head, but you got me going in the right direction. There is no way to make Windows come out for windows update driver but I had a feeling that you were just that if I could install the printer on the regular port, I could change it to a network port after. Trouble has been, Windows doesn't recognize the printer via the parallel port. So I got the USB cable from my DVD, plugged and he went out to Windows update, or somewhere and got the drivers. It took almost ten minutes to complete, but most of that was probably downloading. So, after I had it installed, I changed the port to a tcp port and ran a test page, it came out beautiful and listed as 1192.168.0.100. He was good looking. Then I unplugged the USB cable and tried again, no joy. So, you know, I rebooted the machine, ran a test page and it came out great.

So, he took a long trip around, but my problem is solved. Thanks again for the help.

Sure. What version of Windows you are using few questions. You need a
program of processing and most of them can operate under any
    version of Windows.

The best-known word processor is Microsoft Word, which can
be purchased either by itself or as part of Microsoft Office.

My favorite is WordPerfect, which is less expensive than
    Word.

You can also use one of the free, such as word processing programs
LibreOffice (http://www.libreoffice.org/). It's supposed to be a clone of
Microsoft Word, and although I don't use it personally, I hear him very
good things about it from others.

And another choice, I mention with reservations. WordPad comes
with Windows. If your formatting etc needs are very modest,
You can use it. But note that WordPad is really more a glorified
as a real word processor text editor and has very few options.
If you do a lot of processing in the future, you should
you get a real word processor. I advise you to WordPerfect, if you
are ready to buy one or LibreOffice if you want a free.

ODD: optiarc DVD RW AD - 7580 s-(PS).

Please help me on this issue.

Say the HP support? Often with an HP printer, the solution the easiest is to unplug the printer, uninstall the HP printer via Add/Remove, runDisk cleaning software and restart. Then download/install latest drivers/software from HP and only connect the printer when the installation says.

Of course its possible allways the printer failed.

  • How to configure the Windows Vista Firewall default

How can I configure the default windows firewall

    Hello

If you use a 3rd part firewall uninstall it

or if you are using an internet security suite that includes a firewall, disable/turn off the firewall

    then that;

    1. Open Windows Firewall by clicking on the button start , clicking Control Panel, clicking Security and then click Windows Firewall.

    2. Click turn on or off Windows Firewall. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    3. Click on (recommended) and then click OK

and you should have only ONE firewall running

more than ONE firewall running can cause blockages of the system, etc.

  • Printer HP Officejet 4620 on Windows Vista will not print

Hello. It is a replacement printer sent me after the motherboard on my first brought to stop working 2 months. The replacement printer is installed, but it stopped printing. He did print test pages when I first put in place, but when I go to print a standard Microsoft Word 2007 document, I get the flashing box that says: "the printer is ready. Click OK to continue. The flashes of the box, but when I hit okay, nothing happens and the print queue of the printer says "delete." I ran the HP scan and fix, and he reported that everything was going well. The machine still does not print!

If you can't get the program to uninstall, then it may be a problem with the way that the Windows operating system treats the registry keys.  Is there a Fixit program provided by Microsoft that allows programs that cannot be installed or uninstalled.  Please click the link below and use this utility to help the uninstall process.
