Configuring the desktop for all users
When you use Windows 7, is it possible to put up desktop shortcuts for all users who like to log onto the computer, it was in XP? Thank you!
C:\Users\All Users\Bureau. You can copy shortcuts out there, and it will be displayed on any connected user.
I'm used to the administration of Windows XP and have upgraded a system for Windows 7 that has multiple users. All users must have access to a specific program (a .rdp connection) shortcut I would have provided using %systemroot%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Bureau in XP, but it doesn't seem to work in Windows 7. Can I change the directory in the folder you want, and yet it does not allow me to add anything to it or a local administrator account, or a domain administrator account. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Could someone tell me how to change the password for all users in the database? I want to set the same password for all users.

Write the file spooling
Make sure that all profiles has password_verify_function with a NULL value
Select 'edit user' | username: ' identified by
;' from dba_users;
you will get the output... you just run.
Under title, I'm looking for a way to get out a dictionary of Firefox (specifically the English (British) of https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/) to all users in a Citrix environment. Comprehensive silent installation is absolutely best. Because following a recent installation of Firefox users report that this spell check is not working, what appears as a result there is no dictionary to check the spelling on the facility.
It's in a corporate environment, running 6.5 XenApp hosted workstations to multi-server Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise x 64, the installed Firefox info below as collected by the add-on troubleshooting pulled from the browser in the test environment with the same characteristics.
So far, I have tried what follows from this link: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installing_extensions
"A whole installation will install an extension in the directory of the application rather than in a profile so it will be available to all users. To perform a whole installation, you must not activate as within your Mozilla application installation file. Instead, download and save this record and make sure you close the application completely.
Then follow one of the following options:
Copy the .xpi file into the <installation directory>\extensions folder. When you start your Mozilla application again, it displays an installation dialog, asking "The following items were found in your Extensions folder. Do you want to install them?" "
Although it seems that the < installation directory > \extensions folder no longer exists at the given location. Find a path of the < installation directory > \browser\extensions but seems it does not behave as said here that I have not received all of the guests. I hope that this method is still applicable in some way and I am just not aware of how this is currently supposed to be handled, but not sure if it is a dictionary rather than a typical add-on will have no effect on the installation overall how can be reached.
Have also tried to http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2268437 , which seems a pretty basic option, but this would have not only to a lot of work to do on a per user basis, but there are also restrictions in place to prevent access to the records of users AppData.
Finally I was looking https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/740545 to push this point across: the les parametres parameters configuration, then use the method above to enforce this on the user end, but did not find anything me.
Any help/advice/shots of elbow in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
It might be easier to extract the files of two dictionary (.dic and .aff) of archive XPI (ZIP) and place the two files in the folder of Firefox profile for the dictionaries available for all users.
My apologies if I missed this answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it anyway. I have a thin client, running vWorkspace AppPortal 8.0. Users to connect individually as opposed to a shared connection. Is it possible for me to load the configuration settings of the App portal for all users? If I have each log and load the config file. So basically, I try to have the configuration file to load automatically for all users. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.
Just to give due to what Greg said, there is an article here
In addition, there is more in detail the process from this page in the Administrator's guide
I hope this helps!

This is your problem:
Access-group 101 in external interface
You link this access list to your external interface. This means that the rules are applied to incoming traffic IN your network. The implicit IP any any rule is because you have not bound to an access list on your inside interface.
To prevent users from going out, you will need this:
access list permit tcp host exchange_IP OUTPUT no matter what eq smtp
access list tcp OUTPUT deny any any eq smtp
Access-group interface inside OUT
See how this access list is linked to the inside interface... it will affect traffic leaving your network. Note: Once you apply this inside allow any interface it will remove the implicit.
Day 2 after the installation of Windows 8 on my desktop PC, all the user accounts with a standard profile are unable to connect. However, my admin account can connect and I get a message saying that the 'Agent Windows all users install' does not work so why accounts no administrator cannot connect.I restarted the service but she turns for a few seconds and ends without a message. Several attempts to restart it have failed. Is this a problem with Windows 8?
I just found out that I must be an ADMINISTRATOR to do. Thanks much for the reply
I recently had to move the hearing to a vista machine.
Now, the Setup is a slight pain in the * mainly because of Vista in Vista.
But now that I put it in place under my profile how can I keep those settings for all users?
When a new person connects to this computer, it goes to the built-in default material (which of course didn't is not connected to anything) and not to the sound card that is connected to the mixer.
So what I'm after, is a way to save all settings (including workspaces) and their default for all users (including users)
(Please tell me there's a way to do it...) Having to configure AA for each trainee or a guest is going to be an incredible pain in my *.)
Audition CS6 and later have the opportunity to create "Machine-specific device settings" that replace a users roaming profile preference files when you connect to jobs at random, but cela was not available in Audition 3. There may be solutions workaround, depending on your network configuration, but nothing as nice and direct.
I need to disable the "Location-Aware Printing" for "All Users" on the laptops that we use in our company. Is there a way to do it, or is it one per user (HKCU) power only.
The question you posted would be better suited in the TechNet Forums. I suggest that you post the query in the link.
Hope this information helps you.
How a client would change a label field for all user interfaces that use this field or attribute, which is not really a translation?
What I have found seems to be that we would need to edit Resource Bundles and it will be much easier in version 8:
1. the information on Resource Bundles in https://blogs.oracle.com/fadevrel/entry/translating_your_customizations section has this key passage:
It is a standard open sector (OASIS) XML file with the extension .xliff format and store translated values for strings used by the ADF running. The general process is that these values are exported from the MDS, modified manually and then imported into the new repository. This must be done by an administrator, either via Enterprise Manager or WLST orders according to the screenshot below. It is detailed on the merger application Extensibility Guide.
2. this blog announcement also says that it will be easier in version 8:
Currently planned for version 8 is what we call the UI (UI) text editor. This tool will allow the mounting of all the text on the pages and merge request forms. This will provide a search based on an expression or a Word, say 'Worker' and will allow it to be adjusted, tell 'Employee', which then updates all the resource bundles that contain.
3. I found video, How to customize field labels , but it seems that it is a label of the user interface at the same time...
WIlliam, Yes, and we have a documentation and/or videos on this feature when R8 is available.
I'll explain my problem... At the beginning of the application, the user choose a year, each year can have 3 status and based on the State to restrict or grant access to certain tabs, pages and options. I put the status of the year selected in an Application element and then I just use an authorization scheme to check if the user can access pages or options.
The problem is that if the administrator changes the status of the current year (for example, 1-2), users who are currently in the application will have access to the options of the State 1, instead of the State 2 options. is there a way to change the value of this element for all users?
Force a disconnection of all users? You can't really affect the values of the sessions other than your own via a browser, and from the point of application is part of a single session...
You could re-read the value of point of application of its source whenever you load a page or tab game...
We will replace 20 + Mac towards the end of the summer that have installed Muse. I understand that Muse allows users to turn on both machines. Is there a way we (administrators) can disable all users who have enabled the muse on these Macs or users need to do it themselves?

64-bit, a decent number of carrots (two nuclei is probably good enough) and a lot of memory. 8Gbs wouldn't hurt, but I would have no less than 4 GB on any 64 - bit with a modern operating system hardware.
Make sure it has SATA controllers and get more than one drive, so you can put the catalog and photos on the cache of raw (and maybe one of your paranoid backups) on the other. A RAID array wouldn't hurt, either. Spend money on disks faster and quieter (although this will be a bit of a balancing act - opt for SATA drives with large caches edge.)
Hi, I work in Hyperion Planning 220.127.116.11.500.17, is it possible to configure the application for all users settings in Hyperion Planning with the application owner user? I want that all users consider the alias of a members of the workflow.
LCM exports using the user preferences located under Configuration, that generate an xml file, update the xml file and then import them into.
I'll put up for our University editing room which has a CC license "per machine". It is a PC facility. This machine will be used by a class of students who will register with their own credentials. I need to set preferences for the first (video output, default working space planning etc. discs) so that it is the same for all users connecting from us want a consistent configuration for educational purposes and not want to help every student to configure so that it displays correctly on monitors. Is there a way to save this default setting for each user?
The most important of them is the preferences - reading to set up the second monitor.

Just copy the files preference and workspace of your user folder.
