Confused about icloud, why is he active? Do not understand why it is active on my iphone and another system

I have a laptop Dell Inspiron where my original iTunes began.  Since then, I have bought ipad and ipad mini and my wife and I have the iPhone 6 s.  In addition, my itunes account is linked to 2 other offices where I listen to the music.

I recently bought my iPhone.  All our music is under her iTunes account.  Since the activation of my phone I noticed my desktop (Dell XPS), two ipads and my phone all show the cloud the need to listen to music.  I don't know how it happened, and I don't like.  This icloud does not work for me.  If it was a repository/backup for my music and my music was on my media as before I am happy but now when in my car, I am instructed by my AT & T account when I want to listen to music from my phone or ipad where as before the music was on my phone or ipad and I just listened.  How to get back to this way of using my iTunes on my system and peripherals?

Stop the sync music via iCloud. Copy the iTunes library on your computer and the device via iTunes sync music.

  • Confused about the future of the Activation of Windows XP

So, since Windows XP support comes to an end, is loose activation now? I've already activated a machine with a product key, it is now possible for me to turn on another machine with the same key? It seems that this would be the logical choice, but sometimes I look at the decisions of Microsoft and think, I should probably ask about that. I have often heard mixed answers, some say that you will have to activate as always, with one key by machine, some say that a patch will be released, eliminating activation completely. So please, don't answer just what you think to be the right answer.

    Hello

Activation has not changed and is always available even if Microsoft Support for XP is completed.

And the same rule of licenses remain valid: a license/product key is for a SINGLE Installation, not two or more installs.

    See you soon.

  • Confused about iCloud, iCloud Drive and save?

Hello everyone. In a bit of a difficult situation here, while in a fight with a friend of mine, they have permanently deleted all the photos of us. We want these memories back and it turns out that she has pictures enabled in iCloud and also the iCloud drive. She got an iPhone 6s. I don't know what this means or how to work with it, but could you please tell me how can she retrieve photos with the icloud? A maybe need a ripping software? Something will help you! Thank you.

    iCloud is not a backup,

But it can browse iCloud.com and connect on the photos to see if they are there. If they are not looking for and in the recently deleted folder. Other than that you have no real backup.

  • Why my icloud unable to connect, he wrote "the maximum number of free account has been enabled on this phone" why? I already reset my iphone and create a new id

Why my new id icloud unable to connect? He wrote "the maximum number of free account we enabled on this phone, while I already reset my iphone.

A device can create only three accounts iCloud, after which still attempts to bring the message you see. This is related to the material and there is no way around it - reset makes no difference. What you can do is to create a new account iCloud on another Mac or iOS (not Windows) device, then you can sign in on your phone.

  • ICloud for Apple music activation will damage my iTunes library?

I agree with Apple's music and I understand that if I want to add pieces of Apple's music in my iTunes library I must activate iCloud. I have so far resisted doing this since all reports of permanent damage to your library master iTunes at the time where Apple music was introduced. It means your iTunes library will be scanned and anything in the catalog of music Apple is copied in your iCloud, but at a lower speed to ICloud. Music you have (I have 1700 titles of a CD, I added that I bought) is not in the catalog will be copied in iCloud, but at a lower rate. But I was warned of the following problems. Does anyone know if all those who have been set? Of course, I keep a backup of everything on my Mac, but I'm afraid of damaging my iTunes library. I've read about problems are:

    1. DRM is added to the music you own and copied to your iTunes library.
    2. Music you have will be converted at any bit rate and a different format (I use MP3) and copied in your library.
    3. Many only find albums that they have got iTunes tracks scrambled, metadata for artist names and track names got scrambled, and playlists got out of order.
    4. Album cover and the track got corrupted and replaced with incorrect art.

I know things are not supposed to be true based on the Apple FAQ, but they occurred when music Apple and iOS 9 first came out. These questions definitely resolved?

    1. no DRM will not be added to your own music and copied into your iTunes Library UNLESS you decide to delete your original files and then re - upload to your computer's iTunes library. Or if you have set up a second computer share the same Apple ID and download the tracks to this second computer.

2 not - yet as answer #1 - if you delete your original files and then re-download. You will receive versions Apple music that - according to what bitrate you torn initially to-may or may not be a lower data rate.

    3. Yes, it happens. But most often it happens when you try to listen to music on other computers or devices. There was reports of these types of problems in their library (the one people used as source to configure BCTI) original iTunes and that's why it makes sense to have a backup of your original files. But, that being said, I've been using AM / BCTI since it began and I saw only occasional and minor problems with my metadata on my original library. However, I've seen a lot of questions on the iPhone and iPad that share my ID Apple and iCloud music library - mainly the wrong version of a song being substituted for the one I have in my library (the original) iMac iTunes.

    4 Yes - See answer #3.

Yet once again, most of these problems happen either (1) on the secondary devices you use with your music library to iCloud or (2) when people decided - usually to save hard drive space - to remove their original files and then replace with others of their MEMBER.

  • Confused about transfer

I have a 5 c - 16 gig Iphone and a 4-32 gig Ipad.  I have 20 GB of storage to iCloud and I available 17.1.  I back up my phone and my iPad every night.  Is what I find confusing - 32 + 16 = 48.  I don't have that 20 GB of storage, so how can I support everything up and still have 17.1 available?

When I look at my iPhone says storage used (s): 8.3 GB.  Available: 3. 9 GB.  (I just deleted some photos).  In iCloud it is written "last backup - 364MB.  The phone only back up CHANGES since the last backup?  Is - that's why backup is so small?  A lot of my info. syncs with my iPad.  I use the same login and password for both.  What is "synchronized" is synchronized.  What is the explanation?

The reason why I ask this question, it's because I plan to get a new phone in the next month or two.  I have the health information in an application on my phone.  The app is not available for the iPad.  I want to make sure that all information transfers to the new.  If I have this application special value upward, will be the entire application AND information transfer to my new phone when I put in place?  It is important for me because I need the latest information and new information to save the changes.

Someone in the phone store told me that I would have to go to the App Store and bought and then download any applications still once, using my old phone so that I could see OPEN so I knew that all of these applications, with OPEN were those that I kept.  Were those with the small cloud - apps that I deleted.

I tried to backup my iPhone to my PC and were the only things that saved: music, pictures, ringtones (and something else I don't remember).  Why has not again an increase of 100% of what is on my phone?

I won't buy a phone until I understand all that.  If my iTunes could save everything - I would use this backup.

Music and apps are not stored in iCloud at all. To do so would be redundant.

Here is some useful information on the functioning of the backups using iCloud and iTunes.

  • Confused about "additional control Points.

    Hello

I'm confused about this sentence from database Concepts 11g Release 2 (11.2)

    Additional control points

An additional control point is a type of thread control point in part intended to avoid writing a large number of blocks online redo log switches. DBWn checks at least every three seconds to determine if he has to do. When DBWn written stamps Sales, it advances the position of the control point, causing CKPT write the position of the control point to the file control, but not for data file headers.

I thought that a checkpoint is written datafileheader and controlfile, this happens for example after a switch logfile - right?

So, why not in the case of additional control point? For best performance?

Additional control points to reduce the time to recover, as more data is committed to the files of data, right?

There are many types of control points. One that will be updated on the headers of data files would be a complete control and would be applicable to the entire base. The additional control point is induced to keep on enhanching a counter that would ensure that only certain limited stamp Sales would be recovering. That's why a moment of the additional control point, data file headers are not being updated. Control file is probably updated with a "pointer to disk" which mentions the point up to which the dirty buffers are written in files (from the buffer cache) data and where to start the recovery, if necessary. Log file switch will cause a thread control point which, for one instance, would be considered a Global checkpoint only. The additional control point would be for various other reasons such as setting a value for the parameter Fast_Start_Mttr_Target etc.

  • I'm confused about my billing

I have Adobe Creative cloud and I went to the student. I understand that the $12 plan / monthly is only for the first year, but when he jumped to $65 per month which was a pretty big leap (especially for someone who is still a student) and so I called Adobe customer service. I was told that I had changed my plan in October, something I never remember to do, but the representative I spoke with said she would get back on the plan of the student for $21 / month, and I will get a refund of $27,23. I realized that I was not getting a full refund because I was already at middle of January so I was fine with that too. The same day I receive a supplement of $21,23 and no refund. I remind them again and asked what was going on and said it was a policy of the company to charge the monthly fee for the new plans from the outset. I asked the officer if that's the case, why I do not get a full refund for the $65 I paid this month. She said it was because I was already in the month of January and this is what she was allowed to give me. I asked what month the charge $21.23 is for. She said it was for January. I told him that he didn't add up because according to its share of January has already been used and paid and cannot be refunded but I'm being charged for the total amount of January again under the student rate she changed her of me. I should get a full refund, as new charges $ 21.23 should cover the entire month or if I can not pay the full amount of $65 then I should get an amount proportional instead of a full $21.23 since according to its share of January is already paid and cannot be refunded. Even if I don't get a refund later, all I'm really going back to the day of $5,59 if you take into account the $21.23 I'm running at the front which is practically nothing in Exchange to go through this ordeal. I would have been better off I don't got no refund and just got charged for the month next February. She said she would take the case to his superiors to be studied by a higher office and gave me a case number. I am still confused about this because it just didn't seem like a good way to do business. I feel like I'm being charged twice for the days of service used. None of this makes no sense to me.

  • Confusion about the requirements for the 2015 CC software

I currently have Windows 8.0 (64 bit) which is so satisfactory and stable.  I have not upgraded to 8.1 Windows because I can't install same normal updates for Windows 8.0 without experiencing freezes system that only restore points can heal.  So for now, I would stick with what I have.  But the problem is the confusing requirements for various programs within the pile of creative cloud applications:

Premiere Pro: Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (64-bit) or Windows 8 (64-bit)
Photoshop: Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 or Windows 8.1

Illustrator: Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 8 or 8.1 Windows

Dreamweaver: Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8 or 8.1 Windows

    Hearing: Microsoft® Windows® 7 with Service Pack 1 (64-bit), Windows 8 (64-bit) or Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

So what I'm confused about is the fact that Windows 8.0 is not listed for Photoshop, but Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are.  Does this mean Photoshop CC 2015 is not compatible with Windows 8?  And that means that Premiere Pro is not compatible with Windows 8.1 since only 7.0 (SP1) and 8.0 are listed, I would have preferred the upgrade of software CC WITHOUT update Windows since I am picky on my installation of Windows 8 stable pipes now solid as a rock.  Fortunately, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and hearing are compatible with all three, it seems.

Can someone clear up the confusion, please?

I think that my hardware is OK for this.

Motherboard: Asus Crosshair Formula V-Z (AMD 990FX)

CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vichera 3.5 GHz

  • Confused about resolutions... again!

I always thought that resolution in terms of pixels was / were absolute...

    That means, a 1600 x 1200 screen resolution was just that... 1600 x 1200 pixels.

This is why was a bit confused when you run a tutorial on sensitive sites (adaptation of websites for mobile devices), brought the x linear measure resolution in the image... Meaning that he talked about iPhone being xxx pixels wide to xxx dpi... and in order to have a higher resolution.

That makes no sense to me...

I think that you would design for devices to:

    1 xxx pixels wide

    2 yyy pixels wide

    3 zzz pixels wide

End of story... what difference does it make if a display devices are, say, 300 DPI from 72 dpi. As long as one takes care of pixels, it should make no difference. Or am I missing something?

    TIA

    S

DPI (pixels per inch) and DPI (dots per inch) refers to the size (or density) of pixels or points, not the total number of dimensions of the screen. A 1440 X 900 screen is always 1440 pixels wide and 900 pixels high no matter if it's 96ppi or 300PPI. The difference is that at 300 PPI, 1440 pixels is just shy of 5 inches in diameter, while 96, it's a little more than 15 inches across.

The retina display is 'high density' or the high rate of pixel in ppi. The advantage of this is that, when an iPhone user zooms in on a page or an image, it's much clearer. As far as goes design so that as phones advanced technologically, they will get all best graphics, and eventually it won't matter whether or not the sites are designed for them. iPhone and most of the Droid phones already resize web pages to fit. The difference is clear.

  • Question about iCloud upgrade?

    Hi all.

Uses iPhone running on iOS 9.0.2. Intend to start to use iCloud for it services mainly: get my contacts to my address book on my iMac [mid-2011 running on Yosemite 10.10.4]. I have a backup of my contacts phone in iCloud, but these data are not displayed for sticking on the contact of my iMac book. Use iCloud drive? Honestly, I don't know even what iCloud drive means, but when I was invited to get updated, I gave up to clicking on it because I wasn't sure of the implications. Would be clicking on upgrade to iCloud result in my phone also get updated to the new iOS 10? FYI, I use my NOTES (version 3.3) on the iMac to prepare sermons which then get 'automatically' to my iPhone and iPad, and I'm very very happy with this state of affairs. If upgrading the iCloud drive would result in teams relative to the data transfer NOTES freely from one device to another, I refrain from going in the upgrade. Your opinions and advice are sought.

    Best regards and take care,

    Dr. Christophe

The above is a bit confusing to understand so I think you need to develop a little further.  You say "get your contacts on my contacts on my iMac.  Where are the contacts currently residing?  They reside only on your iPhone or on your Mac?

You also mentioned you "have a backup of my contacts phone in iCloud, but these data are not displayed for sticking on the contact of my iMac book."  If this is the case, it would seem your contacts are already in iCloud, but it doesn't seem to be filling your devices, is this assessment correct?

No, the upgrade of your iCloud storage space would be not upgraded to the latest iOS on your iPhone.

It "will not result in teams' as you said well that if he does (and it shouldn't), then back to this community forum and someone will be happy to help.

In addition, it will not affect your Notes database.  Allowing only iCloud (no), means that you will have access to all your data on all devices - it will synchronize all your data on the devices so that they are immediately available.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello

When you use iCloud photo library, your iCloud storage can work to free up storage on your iPhone by keeping versions space saving on your iPhone and the full-size originals in iCloud. However, unable to save pictures to iCloud instead of have them on your iPhone at all.

Another option is to import all existing photos from your iPhone to computer, and then delete the originals of your iPhone, freeing up a space for new.
