connect a keyboard and wireless mouse to new hp 5010

I have a new HP 5010 all in a desk top that came with a wired keyboard and mouse.  I have a wireless HP keyboard and mouse I want to use my old HP desktop.  I ran 'add new devices', several times, but may not recognize the wireless keyboard and the computer mouse.  I am running Windows 8.1.  I have no paperwork or records for the 2 items, so I'm not havin no chance to find it.

Hello

What is your whole keyboard and mouse? They come with a USB dongle?

  • If Yes, you need to adapt this dongle for new machine and you have nothing to do, they will work automatically.
  • If not, this means that they use Bluetooth or receiver built in, in this case, your machine must have bluetooth or a receiver.

My question: do you know what is the model of all keyboard and mouse? (Look at the bottom of the keyboard).

Kind regards.

Unfortunately, you can not connect a keyboard wirelessly on your TV. Your TV will need a driver for this. Sad thing, it's impossible to install anything on the tv, which includes the driver for the external devices such as a wireless (except USB) keyboard... I recommend the SIDEVIEW TV application that has the remote control / function keyboard and mouse... this app is free and can be downloaded via Google Playstore... ^^.

Wired or wireless - is usually not serious unless the wireless can get more interference.  If the keyboard is close to the receiver which is connected to the computer and you get the strikes hurt - my suggestion is to try first the keyboard on another computer.

To do this, * not * require you to install specific drivers.  Simply unplug the combo of a computer and in the other and see if the keyboard works correctly.  Then, you can troubleshoot from there.

  • What is a good keyboard and wireless mouse to buy for my Pavilion m9600t desktop computer.

The wireless Elite keyboard and mouse HP keep breaking down (I'm on my third), so I conclude that it is undesirable. What is good? Doesnt must be HP brand. And I don't want a shift caps lock on the keyboard.

I use the Logitech Performance MX mouse, and I just bought the new K800 keyboard.

    That I highly recommend.

Also have the K340 which is bit of a great keyboard.

They all use the tiny unifying receiver. Excellent products.

The mouse that I have 3 of them (one on each of my jobs) this is the best mouse I've ever used.

    Hello hiring,

Thank you for your message.  You may need to consult the manual for these devices, but there is probably a connection button on both devices that put into a discovery mode.  Have you already tried that?

  • With the help of transmitter USB for keyboard and wireless mouse 3000 in Vista

a friend already has the Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000

and just purchased the Wireless Keyboard 3000 .

They both work w / USB 2.4 GHz transceivers, and they do not work OK using both of the receivers that accompanies the individual purchases.

I was wondering if it is possible to use a single USB transceiver for both devices instead of two... hoped that this would be the case because they are the two series "3000" operating in the same band.

Some hoped it would all just automatically connect, but no luck.  I can force it to use a two-way radio?

Thanks for any help / suggestions

    * original title - use Transceiver even for (2.4 GHz) wireless KB & mouse that were purchased separately? *

    Hi moonstruck67,

We cannot have the same transmitter/receiver for two wireless devices because it is not supported.

You need to do the same with wireless Bluetooth technology.

However, if you want to force the installation, try the following steps:

    i. Click Start

II. Type in devices and printers

    III. right-click on the transmitter/receiver

IV. If you have the opportunity to connect or sweeping, try the option and check if that helps.

I had a lot of trouble when my computer goes int mode 'sleep' lately. After waking from sleep mode my mouse and keyboard do not work and the cursor is frozen. What could be the problem? I saw a fix for problems similar to this usb. Are their all the dangers of this fix and it's the only thing to try?

    Hello djmechanic,

Thanks for the return of the response.  Because he was working for you recently, I suggest to try to perform a system restore.  Did you by chance change anything with your computer before having this problem?  All new software/hardware installed or new Windows updates?

    What is system restore?

  • Keyboard and magic mouse

How long does take to recharge the mouse and keyboard, never done before. I have a 21.5-inch iMac, with keyboard and wireless mouse. Thank you very much...

Depends on how long the batteries are discharged. Maybe an hour for the keyboard and a littles less for the mouse.

You can connect the Lightening cable to the USB port and then to the keyboard or the mouse and use the devices while they are in charge.
