connect a projector to a macbook pro

I recently bought a macbook pro, the death of my old macbook. I can not get my projector to the computer via a USB connection. When I plug in the USB the USB display Installer appears. I followed the instructions but nothing happens. I spent in the display setting in system preferences and held that the option pressed toward the low key and double clicked, but once again, nothing.

I connect the projector with a different cable?

Without knowing the specific or this projector that the USB connection is used to you must go the projector support site and see if there are updated disks that support El Capitan. For some devices manufacturers are reluctant to, and some are not yet of drivers for El Capitan

  • Bluetooth connection between iPhone 6 and MacBook Pro (mid-2014)

I'm trying to connect my iPhone to my MacBook Pro 6 so that I can use the universal Clipboard function in the Sierra. Both devices are updated, software-wise, and both devices meet the requirements of continuity system.

When the settings bluetooth for the MacBook, I see my iPhone listed as a discoverable device.  When I click on the "even" button, the numeric code appears, followed by the notification on my iPhone to confirm the code. As soon as I confirm it, the screen bluetooth on my MacBook poster that my phone is connected for a few seconds then disconnects.  After that, my phone will say that the device, that I am trying to connect is out of reach, even if both devices are currently sitting side by side on my coffee table.

It could very well be a simple solution to what I forget quite simply, if I appreciate any help that can be provided.

    Hi olly739,

I understand that you do not want to use the universal Clipboard with your iPhone and your Mac. If both of your devices meets the hardware requirements so the following configuration requirements, you are ready to use the universal Clipboard (no necessary Bluetooth pairing).

Steps to follow for the universal use of Clipboard:

    1. On a single device, copy the text, image or video as you normally would. This content is added automatically to the Clipboard of your other device nearby. She stayed briefly, or until replace you it by copying something on each device.
    2. On the other device, paste the content as you normally would.

  • Connection to Smartphones blackBerry with macbook pro

I have upgraded to a BB Storm today and that you have installed the software on my Mac PocketMac. I then try to connect the BB to my Macbook Pro, but it comes up with this message: [01:34:13.208] unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); jump.

I looked on the website and recommended just to install a more recent version that you can download. I have it done but its still saying the same message. Read there are some probs in connection with the new MacBooks, but mine is more than a year now.

    Any ideas anyone?

Sorry, should have posted earlier. I solved the problem I had with the connection to my mac, is perhaps the same prob you meet. You must activate 'the mass storage mode support' and format the card media if you have one. Do this in the file on the bb and then its under 'memory '.

    I hope this helps!

A few days ago I have problems with my MacBook Pro (Retina display end-2013, OS X 10.11.4) and the connection to my server (Windows 7 laptop).  I connect to this server from my Mac via my wifi connection, it connects and a few minutes later, the server disconnected and I have to reconnect turn off my WiFi on Mac and turn them on again, and it's very annoying that repeat after 5 min.  Do you need information about my connection Wifi or my laptop Windows 7 to give me a hope of solution?

  • Connection Internet keeps falling with MacBook Pro OS 10.11.3

Wifi works fine in our House on all of our devices until I turn on my MacBook Pro. Then the wifi said even it is connected on all my devices, but nothing will load on any device. I have to restart our modem and router. Then it will work for a few minutes and go out again. A little background - I recently purchased a used MacBook Pro (2012) on eBay (to replace the 2011 water dumped old MacBook Pro my 1 year on). He had been wiped and El Capitan 10.11.3 installed. I started to load my programs and files on the computer and everything worked fine for about a week and then I started having this problem. I called the internet provider 10 + times and they even sent someone to watch our connection. They keep telling me it should work now the problem did not get better. Any suggestions?

Do you by chance, your MB Pro doing a big download or download in the background?  This can make it appear that the wifi is down for all devices (actually its just really slow with a lot of latency leading to delays).  Pictures is known for this.  With the MB Pro connected to wifi, access Photos > Preferences > iCloud and just below icloud library upstairs, you see a message that the activity occurs?

  • Internet connection via Wi - Fi on MacBook Pro

I had problems with my MBP WiFi since I got it. I tried to follow the suggestions here:http://osxdaily.com/2014/10/25/fix-wi-fi-problems-os-x-yosemite/with no luck.

My internet connection will not go away, but I will be always connected to Wi - Fi. Requests for a browser will be blocked until they then expire. I often have to reboot to fix the problem.

I brought in the Apple Store when it first started happening, but as it is a random event, they couldn't reproduce them. They said there was nothing they could do.

There is definitely something wrong with the laptop, because I have one older MBP as well as several other devices connected to the Wi - Fi connection, and they do not have these problems.

  • Keyboard will not be on when connecting. Mid-15, 15 "MacBook Pro w / retina.

I don't know if that's how it is supposed to be or not. But I thought it would be a common sense that should the keyboard lit up as the Macbook Pro lights up on the login screen, but this one isn't. I wonder if this is supposed to be having no light until I logged in? If not, then how can I fix this to where the keyboard will be turned on when I turn on my Macbook Pro?

  • MacBook Pro crashes when connecting to WiFi at home

    Hi all

    Short:

When I connect to some of my macbook pro WiFi networks freezes.  By freezing I mean all input devices stop working: no touchpad, no keyboard, no external mouse, no keyboard.  My laptop stops 30 seconds after the Frost is out of the reboot.  The problem is worse at home.  He will die almost instantly if I try to use my home network.  On the road, it can take an hour or two, then freeze!  At work, life seems almost endless, but it froze.  More details to follow.

    Symptoms:

    • When I connect everything first a loading bar is shown, sometimes it will freeze it and start/stop.
    • Shortly after I log in, before you do anything, but moving the mouse, it will freeze.
    • Sometimes I can not connect and it will work fine for a few minutes, until I use all that internet: firefox, safari, mail, any software that checks the license through the internet, then it freezes.
    • Other times, I can work on the internet without pain for hours.
    • Sometimes it will work very well, I will walk away and the machine goes to sleep.  When I wake up, it will freeze.  With and without the WiFi on.
    • Sometimes it will work very well, I'll close the lid for a certain period of time for 1 minute to 24 hours and sometimes when I open it it will freeze.
    • It crashed when booting in verbose mode.  Died when something with bluetooth.  I tried only once.
    • When in recovery mode (CMD + R), I can run the utility disc fine, but if I want to reinstall OS X, the minute, trying to download (after signing with my Apple ID) it will freeze.  It's the only way I've been able to reliable and predictable way to reproduce this problem, however, as on my home network.
    • There is never crash logs in the console.  I have never one "your machine should be stopped."  The only way that I know that there was a problem is that I will ask you to log in and when I do, none of my programs are still open.

    Where this happens:

    • On my work WiFi network, it's hardly a question.  Happened at least 5 times in the last year.
    • During a journey (so any number of networks and equipment) will occur once an hour.
    • At home, he can go months without a pass and then, as yesterday (24/04/16), occur continuously for hours on end.  (I have just let my laptop open and hear the chime start about once a minute).

    What I tried:

    • Reinstalled OS X.
    • Run diagnostics (CMD + D)
    • Reset the PRAM and SMC
    • Run recovery stuff (CMD + R)
    • Safe mode has the same problems; When internet is used, it freezes.
    • That thing where you delete all of your connections wifi, both in the Terminal and in the GUI.
    • Disable IPV6 on my Macbook Pro
    • The laptop is not hot.  Power supply or the battery power does not make a difference.

    Other stuff:

    • I have an old Macbook Pro (running Yosemite) who doesn't have these problems.  There is another Windows Mobile and apple and windows Phone which does not have these problems.
    • Using WiFi at home and Arris TG1682G me provided by Comcast/Xfinity.
    • My laptop froze all the time and then I went to another network (neighbor thank you!) and everything seems fine.

As my computer can still freeze on other networks I'll post this now and change it.  I don't want to lose that.

I can't find a button change.  Shortly after I posted this my macbook pro has frozen and restarted.  I was not on my wifi at home.

  • How to connect my Macbook pro (early 2011) with an Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB to a LG34UM57-P for the resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels?

The maximum resolution that I receive is 1080 p not 2560 x 1600 (21 x 9 aspect ratio - ultra wide angle). My adapterw of the display is a Lindy Adapter Mini displayport to VGA/HDMI cable is a normal black HDMI cable.

    Any suggestions please?

Yes... go to Preferences system, then poster and Option + click on scale and see what it does for you.  You should be able to get the maximum

resolution on this monitor, which, as you mentioned is 2560 x 1080. Maybe you could go with just a displayport cable to connect the monitor to your MacBook Pro. I don't know exactly what model or year of MacBook Pro you have, but I guess it's fairly recent. The lindy adapter will do up to 2160 p and not more, so there is that... the only other thing I know is SwitchResX, but you would have to pay a little for that...

so, here's my suggestions, aside from trying an adapter that supports the WQHD... (loan from 4 k) that is all I have
