Connect my B209a-m to my wireless network

Everything worked well, my internet went out, my modem was replaced, my router stopped working, I replaced it with a new one.  Now, I have my internet and all other devices are connect except my printer.  I've tried everything and can't seem to get the printer to communicate with the router.  I see that my pc is picking up a signal from the printer, but I can't just do the connection.  I am running Windows 7.

Help, please!

Hi bmahoney37,

Uninstall the printer to go to add/remove programs, and then reinstall the printer using the current version of the following link. http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=3777182&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&JumpID=oc_r1002_usens-002&lang=en&cc=us

  • Problems connecting to the internet using the wireless network connection

I can't connect to the internet using my wireless network connection. I had made the diagnosis and he stated that "the DHCP is not enabled for the wireless network connection. I had checked the DHCP, but it has been activated!... Someone would give any suggestion for me to solve the problem?

Open the run command box by pressing Windows key + R, type services.msc and press enter . Search The Client DHCP and check if it is enabled or disabled. If disabled then turn it on and see if the problem still persists or not.

Open the run command box by pressing Windows key + R, type cmd , and press enter . At the command prompt, type ipconfig/all and press ENTER. Now, check the IP address, default gateway, DNS etc. If you find all the information is correct, but you cannot yet access the Internet so if you connect the wireless network is secure or not. To determine the glance to the wireless network icon in the taskbar, then click on it. It will show you the available wireless networks. If there is a "yellow shield" present on the network icon, the network is not guaranteed, if there is no "yellow shield" does while the network is secure. In a secure network, you might have a "network security key. In this case try to disable the 'Network security key' option for this network. To do this:

Open Control Panel , click network and Internet , click network and sharing Center , click manage wireless networks on the left.

In the list select the wireless network and do a right click, select Properties, Security disable tab all options that is, in security type do not select no authentication (Open) and to the type of encryption , select none . You can also activate the automatic connection and SSID settings to further enhance connectivity, on the connection tab, click to select the "connect automatically if this network is in range " and "check boxesto connect even if the network is broadcasting his name (SSID) .

For more information click here and see how you can determine whether a network is secure or not.

If the problem still persists, then check your firewall settings and make sure that the firewall is not blocking your Internet connection. Some software Antivirus has a built-in firewall and they block by default all unknown connection to the tightening of security.

Try to restore Windows Firewall default settings. Open Control Panel click on network and Internet , click system and security , click Windows Firewall , click default settings .

Hope this will help. Thank you.

  • HP B209a cannot find the wireless network

I'm running into a problem with my B209a find a wireless network.  I'm not well versed in wireless/network please bare with me.   I have an iMac with OS X 10.8.2.  Recently, I upgraded my router to an Airport Extreme.  My Mac can see the printer correctly, however, the printer cannot now see the network.  Airport utility, I see all our appliances listed under wireless clients and an IP address without a name (printer?).  Doesn't look like not to add manually wireless clients is no longer an option.

The wireless is configured with WPA/WPA2 Personal Security.  The radio is set to 802. 11A / n - 802.11b/g/n (automatic).  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?  Thank you.

    1. Printer, restore the configuration of the network printer.
    2. Turn on the radio to the printer.
    3. From your Mac, connect to the network printer called hpsetup.
    4. Open Safari and select Bookmarks-> Show all bookmarks.
    5. Select Hello on the left.  Your printer should appear in the main window of Safari.
    6. Double-click the printer.  The printer's internal web page should appear.
    7. The Green Network on the printer web page tab.
    8. Select Wireless (802.11) on the left

  • Connect my HP C4580 to my wireless network

My mother gave us his old HP Photosmart C4580.

We do not have the installation disc.

    We run Mac OSX 10.9.3

Printing software downloads automatically when you connect the printer via the USB port.

We run a Comcast wireless router

How we install the printer to print on the wireless network?

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi richards-k,.

Sorry, this model has the old embedded Web server.

Once you click Wireless (802.11), you can simply fill in the information of the network.

If you do not know the encryption network made me know. You can also call your router company for this information.

Here is a screenshot of the fields to fill.

Enter the SSID. (your network name)

    Select Infrastructure.

Select the encryption type. (WEP, WPA or Open - no password)

    Apply the settings.

You have now completed the configuration of wireless network.

Click on the airport on the upper right corner on a Mac and select your network.

    Click on the Apple.
Click System Preferences, click the printers and scanners, and then click on the + sign, then select the printer in the list, make sure that the printer is listed beside the use: displays the name of the correct printer and not Airprint, (Airprint is a driver apple pre-installed with the basic features) click on the Add button. You may need to click the drop down to select your printer.

    Test the printer.

Then switch back to printers and scanners and remove it from the list for the USB driver.

    Unplug the USB cable.

Please let me know how you did.

    Thank you.

  • I lose the internet connection randomly but never lose my wireless network connection.

I use a hp pavilion dv9500 with 64-bit vista sp2 and built in a wireless adapter that will fall randomly my internet wireless connection, but maintains my wireless network connection with an excellent signal strength.

    My (non-permanent) fixed
I know how to reconnect to the internet, but it forces me to diagnose a repair my connection. It then displays "cannot connect to Server primary dns (75.75.75.75)"after which it gives "things to try" who never work and a button 'Reset the ip address' that I click. " repair bar will fill up to half way and go to a new screen solution that shows more 'solutions' and a "reset wireless adapter" button which I click. the remedy bar will fill and then display windows can not solve the problem and go for help. I then manually disconnect from the wireless network and my computer will automatically reconnect to the network and to the internet. It takes about five minutes to fix, but it happens so often that it is getting boring. The process will not work if I only to reset the ip address and then disconnect from the network, only to reset the wireless adapter and then disconnect, or just disconnect from the network and reconnect. I have to reset the ip address and the wireless adapter and then disconnect from the network.

The internet connection will tend to disconnect when I watch a lot of youtube videos, when I download large files like a game on steam, or just just randomly when I use it. I'll use it for a long time and he can't let it go, but sometimes it will go down to ten minutes after I had just reconnected in a drop-down list. It happens randomly without another warning that download time will increase from 2 mb to 50 k in two seconds all about or stop the loading of a youtube video when I look at it.
I searched everywhere for an answer, but it's as if it were a new problem for all humanity or just im the only person who does not know how to solve this problem, because there are no forums or FAQ not related to my problem. It is not so much a serious problem such as an irritating problem that appears at inconvenient times or when I just want to relax and watch a video. It takes some time to reconnect and even though I know how it would be better if my connection would just stay connected to the internet at any time.
I have no idea what the problem could be that whenever I have find I never get related problems. all advice or solution would be great.
I also share this modem with other three commonly used computers: a wired office and two other laptops that the two are connected wirelessly. both other laptops do not have the same problem as mine. My router is a linksys e3000 wireless router.

    Hi DustinMoor3,

Follow the troubleshooting steps posted by Shekhar (marked as the answer) in this thread to solve the problem with no connection to the primary DNS server, in particular the method 2 worked for other users.

3 month old Dell inspiron windows 7

Dell drivers and Utilities disc is weird... not me explainatory

Most laptops have a button On / Off to toggle the wireless connectivity to security purposes. Dell Inspiron are usually Fn + F2 (noted with a little blue on the F2 key). Try typing this key combination to see if your wireless network can easily be reinstated.

Fn + F2 is not correct, the other possibilities for a Dell would be Fn + F8 or Fn + F12. Look for the blue identification icon.

  • Connect an ESXi server to a wireless network

I want to set up ESXi on a wireless network in a non-production environment.  The plan is to use a bridge such as:

    http://store.Linksys.com/adapters/Linksys-WRT610N-WirelessN-gaming_stcVVproductId65221232VVcatId543809VVviewprod.htm

Then to set my ESXi host to get an IP via DHCP.   I could connect my interface standard integrated network to the bridge using a regular cable.  (It is a regular physical server ESXi 5.x).

It will seek to establish ESXi on the network?
Can I then add VMs on that host behind the same bridge or I can't get an IP behind the bridge?

    Ok thank you

I'm trying to connect my photosmart 26110 printer to my wireless home network. By following the online instructions, I find when I get to the network menu on the printer, I don't have a network configuration option. So now what?

The printer is currently connects to a PC via USB. I want wirelessy this network printer for my Mac to print to it also.

LAN means Local Area Network.  It comes to your home network.  WAN means Wide Area Network.  This is the port to connect to your service provider, or in other words, where the Verizon's Internet connection needs to connect.  It shouldn't be to hard to get the Macbock to install the printer on the network.  The document below will guide you in the process.  Let me know what happens.
