  What you're suggesting should be OK. The maximum external resolution of your iMac is 2560 x 1600 pixels.

  It seems that your iMac won't start and wondering how to get it back. I know that this can be a difficult situation, and there are several steps that you can try.

  last night suddenly one of my mail yahoo asking to reenter the password. After you enter the password, it says that can not verity the user name or password. I try fixed so the system pref - internet account with delete yahoo mail add it it yet this yahoo mail again by saying who cannot check this mail.

  I check on my iphone and ipad for this email. This yahoo mail has no problem on ipad & iphone. I have delete and add this email on ipad & iphone yahoo account, e-mail account yahoo adds normally without any problems.

  I have restart & close my iMac and then try to add this yahoo mail, still unverified. 2 emails yahoo account to connect to my iMac, a mail has no problem. I change my yahoo mail password and reconnect to the iMac still unverified.

  If I go to the browser and connect you to this mail from yahoo to safari, it works I can connect to this yahoo mail.

• Tine Capsule loses the connection to iMac on El Capitan

  So I thought to myself - allows to change Windows XP for IMac OS - X and I liked the theory behind Time Capsule.  So in Dec 15 bought the new iMac with El-Capitan installed - very nice - steep to overcome - but very nice learning curve.  In January 2016, I bought the capsule and time the iMac continues to lose track of it and the backup fails.

  I read a lot of posts on this problem with earlier versions of Mac OS x, but none with El Capitan.  I tried many suggestions.  I'm willing to stick to this, but concluded that Apple have big network problems - is there any known firm resolution that I missed

  When I open Safari from the dock it shows as usual, but when I try to connect to it looking for Web sites, it does not. can't display preferences etc either. Also, my wife uses the Imac and has a separate login ID and its works very well for her. Worked ok until the end of the week. Any ideas how to fix?   What version of Mac OS X is installed, your profile shows 10.7 but I suspect that it is not correct.
