connect the mini dv port hdmi g60

Is the HDMI port on the HP G60-440US output only or can I download from a mini-DV camcorder to the laptop via HDMI port?

Hello

The HDMI port on your machine is output only and the mini HDMI port for your video cam is also for production only. If you want to transfer video video camera for you on your computer you must use different ports such as USB ports.

Kind regards.

  • Qosmio F10-122: what are the pinouts of D-Terminal to connect the digital TV via HDMI

I have the D-Terminal cable SCART, but this only works in analog (PAL) resolution.
What are the pinouts of D-Terminal on nVidia FX Go5700 of GeForce to connect to a digital TV via HDMI and use higher resolutions?

The F10 does not support HDMI port. It supports only the output port component.

I've goggled a bit and found that you can use a HDMI adapter component
There are also some adapters that support the resolution of the computer of the 1920 x 1200 px and 60 hertz
So, you can connect this device to a monitor with HDMI port.

Google for adapter * Gefen component and HDMI *.

  • Presenter PowerPoint on Mac mini mode displayed on the screen and the projector when using HDMI splitter

We have a Mac mini connected to a screen and a projector via HDMI using a HDMI splitter.

It works fine for most applications, but during presentations PowerPoint, presenter is displayed on the monitor and the projector.

When I disconnected the mini Mac's HDMI cable and put it in a MacBook, the presenter appeared on the MacBook screen (as it should) and only the slide appears on the screen and on the projection screen.

Of course if we have to use the MacBook for presentations instead of the Mac mini, you would need to have seen the presenter on both the screen and on the screen of the MacBook.

In the Mac mini display preferences there is no button to "Gather Windows" when the Mac mini is attached to the screen and the projector via HDMI splitter is a tab "setting."

But these two things appear on the MacBook when it is connected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Mike

I'm confused. When you use a video separator the same screen will appear on the two monitors connected to the separator. This is how works a separator

  • Connect the macbook pro mid-2009, to a TV

I could connect my mid-2009 pro via a mini display port HDMI and audio to my receiver. Now that I have a sound bar, I see the desktop on my TV but no sound. I understand that my MacBook pro model does not sound with this connection. Does anyone have a solution?

Cable directly from the headphone output on a cheap amplifier, then to your Soundbar. It is unlikely to be able to the impedance of the speaker car directly.

  • T430s mini-DP to HDMI

Hi, has anyone successfully connected a T430s mini-DP to TV HDMI (Sony in my case)?

My TV is to see a connection because it allow that entry, but the T430s doesn't send signal.

    I have a bunch of connectors: mini-DP-HDMI, mini-DP-to-DP, DP-HDMI and a T430s and a T530

    And I've tried the following:

    work: T430s - mini-DP-to-DP - Dell monitor with DP

    non-travaux: T430s mini-DP-HDMI - Sony TV with HDMI

works: T530 mini-DP-HDMI - Sony TV with HDMI

The difference, I can think of is the mini-DP T430s a Thunderbolt included.

So I'm looking for someone who has really connected a T430s to a monitor or TV using a mini-DP-HDMI connector.

    Thank you.

I connected my T430s to a TV using this Mini Display Port HDMI TV Moitor adapter. Cost me $6 shipped to my door.

    Notes:

    1. my T430s has i5 CPU so no Thunderbolt

    2. has worked well for Samsung 46 "1080 p TV

    3. didn't work at Sony 26 "720 p TV

  • Connection cRio 9074 second port ethernet to another device via VISA

I'm trying to connect a DAQ Yokogawa system to a cRio 9074 via the second ethernet port. I activated the second ethernet port of the cRio with a static IP address on the same subnet as the data acquisition system. I installed the driver NI-VISA and NOR-SERIAL on the cRio. I can compile the code on the cRio and I'm sure that the code works when I connect to the acquisition of data to a PC. I get an error on the open VISA VI.

Am I missing something or is it not possible to connect the second ethernet port on the cRio in this way?

    Thank you

Thank you for your response. I found the same information that you provide, but decided to give it a try.

A few minutes ago, I was able to perform communication between the cRio 2nd access Ethernet DAQ Yokogawa. I managed to do it using the VISA controls. To communicate with the host PC, I get the information of the DAQ with the cRIO as described above and then use shared variables to publish data on the network connected through the first ethernet port.

If anyone wants to reproduce it just to make sure that the two ethernet ports are configured with IP addresses on different subnets that are configured for TCP communication. If more details are to be simply send me a message.

    Kind regards!

  • What kind of cable should I buy to connect my iMac (late 2009) on my HDTV?  It seems that I have a mini view port on the back.

I would like to connect my iMac (21.5 inch display on a recent model of 2009) on my HDTV.  I live in rural and can not get dish or cable TV.  I like to watch movies on Amazon on television.  The back of my monitor a firewire, mini display port and ethernet as well as USB ports.

Why not get an Apple TV? There are currently two versions available, the most recent being about $150, the previous version is on sale for $69 (was $ 100 until the new came a month or two ago) by Apple, maybe from a local retailer. You can then broadcast a wide variety of content wirelessly on your TV TV & film. I have a $100 models, and it runs great on my i - Mac.

  • Cannot get signal when you connect the TV to HDMI port.

    * Original title: HDMI Signal

Hello. My nam is Kieu. I have a problem and and we hope you guys can helo me. I just bought a Gateway desktop all-in-one computer and tried to connect it to the TV via the HDMI port, but I could not get signal on my TV. Help, please.
    Thank you very much

    Hi David,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum!

According to the description of the problem, it seems that you are unable to get the signal when you connect the TV to HDMI port.

I will certainly help you with this issue.

Here are some steps that you can try in order to solve the problem.

Step 1. First you need a video cable to make the physical connection. For a better image quality, you need to connect the computer to the TV using standard VGA ports or via DVI to HDMI Cable provided your TV supports these ports.

Step 2. Open thedisplay settings' ' in your Vista computer and Activate the output to the TV screen. You can reflect the content of your computer on the TV or extend the display as a double screen control.

Step 3 Pick up your TV remote and switch to "External inputs" in the menu. You need to change the value by default "Video 1" to a different selection which may be "HDMI 1" or "video 2" depending on how you made the connection. "

Important: Make sure you connect the cable to the TV before turning on the computer, because sometimes it may not recognize the external display.

You may also change the resolution of your TV screen using the display settings in your panel of control remains the image may appear distorted.

  • Connect the iMac to the TV via HDMI

    Hi all

I have an iMac 27 "13.2 (end of 2012).  I want to set up a TV high definition on the wall above the iMac to display your second desktop thanks to the Mission control.

I suppose that if I get a Mini Display Port to HDMI adapter that will resolve the connection problem.  I would like to know if someone has done this?  I'm thinking a TV 1080 p Samsung 42 "ish.

I read somewhere that my iMac only supports external monitors up to 30 ".  But I don't know if this would be applicable since I'd be using HDMI?

    Thoughts?

I would also like to hang an AppleTV on TV for streaming music, etc. when the TV does not act as an external display for the iMac.

    Thoughts?  Suggestions.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

What you're suggesting should be OK. The maximum external resolution of your iMac is 2560 x 1600 pixels.
